They've looked after a property of mine in Hull for over twenty years and without fault, rent is paid monthly and a tenant found like clockwork if ever vancant. Any issues, be it plumbing, electric, maintenance or some issue raised by the Management Company, has been dealt with efficiently and without fuss. I haven't had to travel over for an issue once during the twenty years and would highly recommend Poppy to anyone.”

“I don't usually leave reviews but this little hotel has served me so well I thought I might as well write one. I have stayed here multiple times for travel purposes and it has become my go-to hotel for this area. I don't like to interact with people too much so I appreciate that checking in is very swift and to check out all you need to do is put your room key (which is a clever little card) in a box and leave. That being said, every time I have spoken to the staff they have been very polite. The rooms are always clean and inviting. There is always a tray with tea, hot chocolate or coffee you can make yourself as well as biscuits and bottled water. The carpets are very nice too. The breakfasts are delicious, no complaints there. My only complaint is that it can be noisy at night due to it being in a large city. Definitely close your windows at night to get a good sleep. Can't comment on the bar as I don't drink. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Hull.”
