“Popped by this evening and the lights were on, i tried the door but it was locked. A man let me in and I ordered dome food. He went away to cook my order. While he was gone I realised the take away was closed on a Tuesday. When he came back with my food I apologised, and he said it was OK. My food was 1st class, just like his attentive attitude. I'm definitely going to revisit, when they are open. Thank you!”

“One of the best Chinese in hull! If you haven’t tried it yet and love a good Chinese then you need to try some food from here, would definitely recommend it. I am half Chinese myself and man this is some good stuff. Not really a authentic Chinese as most Chinese here have all been westernized but the noodles are banging, starters are banging especially the ribs and satay chicken skewers as this owner isn’t a stingy one and use more peanuts like how it is suppose to actually taste. Main meals taste good also not to salty the sauces taste nice. Portion wise is great also haven’t been disappointed so far with the taste or quality of food. I order takeaway or eat out almost everyday and this Chinese has definitely made it to my list of choices. Never had stomach problems after eating from here compared to some other Chinese takeaways in hull. Only downside is sometimes the waiting time is awful which am guessing they can’t really help because they are so busy and the closing days and times sometimes isn’t so great. Other than that the food is literally worth the wait! Guy on the phone is also always friendly and actually listens to what you are wanting to amend to the order or add etc. Friendly staff/owner. Rating 10/10.”

“Wow! We love the food at Lucky Yu! 'Lucky Us' to have it in our area, at the end of our road. I always have the beancurd and vegetable chow mein with added broccoli and cashew nuts, and my partner the king prawn chow mein. Never ever disappointed and always DELICIOUS!”

“Great little cafe! Lovely sandwiches, sausage and eggs yummy, great coffee! Staff very welcoming and friendly. 5* hygiene rating and VERY good value! Couldn't ask for more! It's a little gem of a cafe. Will definitely go again if in that area.”

“Went for something to eat as staying nearby. Fantastic service and made to feel welcome and valued. Had a chat with staff and a laugh, too. It looked really clean and well maintained. Ended up getting pizza, absolutely fabulous. It tasted great, fresh, and was very hot. What more could I ask for?”

“I am vegan so not too many options for me, but what they did have for me was delicious! The spicy tomato garlic bread was very hot, and the staff were very understanding of my dietary restrictions and did not put garlic butter on it. Prices are also very affordable, only £9 for a meal for me and my wife. I would definitely go there again.”

“I have never had a bad meal from the takeaway restaurant and would rate it as the best in Barton upon Humber. The food is both tasty and plentiful and of high quality. The drawback is that this takeaway is very popular and long wait times may happen especially at weekends. I have tried the other takeaways but feel that this is the best for quality and taste.”

“Always had great food from Grand Ruby. Had King Prawn with green pepper in black bean sauce with egg fried rice and a large spring/pancake roll. The large spring/pancake roll was lovely. Contains bean sprouts, little pieces of meat and prawns. The King prawns on the main dish were perfectly cooked and very "tender." The dish itself is a real quality dish whether with King prawns or any other meat, poultry or vegetables. They also do some lovely curries, particularly the house special.”

“Edit: They seem to have really improved recently, don't remember the last time we had to chase them. Their fries are a lot nicer now too. Original: Food is really nice, unfortunately the service always lets them down. Routinely have to call them up to chase them on orders after they miss their estimated delivery windows, I always wait at least an extra 10 minutes too. This place could be an absolute gem if they just managed to get their service issues sorted out. To be clear, the staff are always friendly enough. Problem just stems down to slow service and lack of communication. Maybe it's time to increase the estimated delivery windows on all the apps?”

“Absolutely outstanding!! Best Chinese meal I’ve had in a while. We ordered for delivery and it came super quickly, even on Mother’s Day! We had the honey chilli chicken, which was lovely, sweet and sour, beef in black bean and noodles and rice. Everything came to under £40 and was just brilliant”

“Was dubious of ordering as I'm not from around this area (am staying in castle hill hospital) and so glad I took the chance I ordered sweet n sour chicken hk..and it was the best ever not at all vinegary. Lovely thick sauce and the prawn toast is to die for..highly recommended”

“We’re staying at Raywell hall lodges. Rang to place our order and they were very polite.The food was delivered within 30 minutes and the delivery man was also very polite. The food was excellent and this is the second time we have had a takeaway from So Wok and we were not dissatisfied. “Got to love a dunkin. Even at 7.30 pm on a Sunday they and a good selection of doughnuts, good coffee too. Also its about the only place to get a coffee at that time on a Sunday in Doncaster”
