“WOWZERS!! Excellent service at Ciao!! I was in quite the predicament on Sunday 30th November at approximately 17:10pm. This was because half time of super Sunday was rapidly approaching and I was yet to order a succulent meal! In a fright, I quickly scrambled to my phone to see if it would be possible for Ciao to conjure up a scrummy pizza for half time. I was reassured by the ever calm Jack Hoskins at Ciao that they could hurry together to do this for me! To my delight, within 15 minutes I’d ordered, collected and sat watching Trevor Chalobah nod Chelsea into the lead in the 46th minute!! None of this would have been possible without the pizza maestro that is Jack Hoskins. I will be forever grateful for the exemplary service! Kind regards, An honourable local gentleman”

“Absolutely delicious food. We went to Oriental Gourmet for the first time today and we were not disappointed. Our meals of chicken garlic with fried rice, special chow mein with a side of chips and spring rolls came with a free bag of prawn crackers. Everything was 10/10 and we will definitely be back, the portion sizes were very generous too, it might have even knocked our favourite Chinese takeaway off the top spot.”

“Tried this place another time after having a great first experience about a month ago and I’m so glad that this place seems to be consistently good! Food arrived early and scolding hot! “We always ordered from Chamberlain takeaway and have done for years. Meals are good value for money, and if we have ever had any problems they have sorted it out for us straight away. Nice staff very welcoming if we've called in to pick it up, and if we have it delivered. Usually comes within twenty to thirty minutes. Very good service”

“Absolutely outstanding. I was just passing through the area and decided to try Majestic Takeaway — and I’m so glad I did. The donner kebab was one of the best I’ve had: packed with flavour, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The salad was fresh and crisp, not the usual tired stuff you get at most places. And the pizza… genuinely incredible. The name fits — it was majestic. This place has definitely earned a spot on my favourites list. Highly recommend”

“Been using Ocean for the last 25 years and honestly love the place, the food is always spot on, the lady who serves has been there as long as I can remember & she’s fabulous. Their special curry, or chicken/mushroom curry is delicious, Singapore chow mein can’t be beaten, ribs yum, sweet/sour chicken Hong Kong style is soooo good! I could go on. “My partner and I have been coming here since we were at college (now grown adults!) although the staff change, I would imagine due to university etc, the restaurant is always very pleasant and staff are very accommodating. “I had the pleasure of visiting a friend who has relocated down there and before returning home I thought I would grab myself something different for the journey home after eating my weight in fish and chips all week. I wanted to try a few items and a lovely polite staff member ( I think she was called Rhiannan) who worked on Drive thru smiling even in the awful weather recommended the new deluxe box to me meaning I got to enjoy the new burrito as well as a cheeky little treat of churros. It was piping hot, the food flavours complimented each other beautifully and I got a great value for my money. I will be returning when I am next down there”
