“I went to screwfix as an ignoramus. I measured everything, had taken photos and had some idea what I wanted. The guys at Screwfix, Monks Cross were superb! They didn't treat me like an eejit, they were very respectful, knowledgeable and honestly, could not have done any more for me. They showed endless patience and solved all bar one of my problems. The one unsolved problem, they gave me suggestions on where to go for the part I need. I was really worried about going into a place like this, knowing what I wanted but not knowing how to ask for it and looking a complete idiot. I won't have those worries again, thanks to the guys at Monks Cross Screwfix, one of which was Tom, didn't get the other guy's name, but he had a grey beard. I will from now on, continue to go to Screw fix every time I need some, safe in the knowledge I am likely to get exactly what I need, with expert advice, all at a reasonable price. Faultless Screwfix, thank you again for your patience, expertise, understanding and professionalism, very impressive.”

“If you have not been down to this Pub yet then you need to. The owners are fantastic along with the staff. They make you feel really welcome. The food is awesome and the kids portion fills me up. They now have a pool table. Sundays are great as you can go down and have a lovely Sunday dinner and then relax and watch the free singing entertainment. Great choice of beers as well and if you just fancy something light, they do the best pizza in town, all made fresh.”

“This is the best coffee shop in Leeds. If you are in town and craving a coffee to a very high standard, this is where you should go. I am a resident, coffee nerd, and have tried most of them in the city and surroundings. This is the best and most consistent. Now bear in mind that they have a no laptops policy, so it’s not possible to sit and work in here - I think because having people camping at tables reduces space for people coming and going. It’s very small with limited seating (but more upstairs) - it’s designed to go with a few people or a friend and sit and talk, or for you to get takeaway. Anyway. Best coffee. Thanks for being awesome at what you do and caring about making each cup banging.”

“Lovely, great cake and lovely staff. The coffee was really well made. Me and my toddler felt very welcome and we played happily while enjoy our cake for 40 minutes. Would definitely come back.”

“I’ve had breakfast here a few times and each time it was amazing, easily the best breakfast in goole and not too expensive either. I found the small breakfast was more than enough to fill me and I enjoyed the coffee a lot. Only fault was the decor was a little dated which wouldn’t be any issue but it made the furniture like tables and such look a little dirty.”

“It’s a cute little cafe, I came in for a quick drink and would come again. The menu is simple which is not necessarily a bad thing, plus there are cakes available which look lovely. They even gave me a party ring biscuit with my mocha which is just fab. Service was also decent too!”
