“I went to screwfix as an ignoramus. I measured everything, had taken photos and had some idea what I wanted. The guys at Screwfix, Monks Cross were superb! They didn't treat me like an eejit, they were very respectful, knowledgeable and honestly, could not have done any more for me. They showed endless patience and solved all bar one of my problems. The one unsolved problem, they gave me suggestions on where to go for the part I need. I was really worried about going into a place like this, knowing what I wanted but not knowing how to ask for it and looking a complete idiot. I won't have those worries again, thanks to the guys at Monks Cross Screwfix, one of which was Tom, didn't get the other guy's name, but he had a grey beard. I will from now on, continue to go to Screw fix every time I need some, safe in the knowledge I am likely to get exactly what I need, with expert advice, all at a reasonable price. “I recently had my roof renewed. This was a self build so we didn't use anyone for the building or roofing work. We stripped our roof and didn't want the original tiles from the 1950's to go waste. Thankfully, Hunslet roofing and reclamation yard were there to step in and help. They communicated well and told me exactly how to stack them on the pallets. They collected in good time once they were palleted up and gave me a fair price. I was happy with the service and price paid and more than anything I was happy to see my old roof tiles go to a new home instead of a skip!”

Large builders yard you can collect straight away which i found convenient when in a bit of a rush but also free delivery usually delivered on the day as opposed to waiting a few days.
