“Little Acorns is an absolutely fantastic nursery. It's clean, the staff are outstanding, it has great resources, is compliant and provides a healthy, friendly and welcoming atmosphere for young children. Having seen other nurseries in the area, Little Acorns stands out head and shoulders above the rest in terms of quality, hygiene and care for the kids. I had reservations about sending my daughter to a nursery, but now I am calling the team begging them to take my second child! I can't praise the nursery, and staff, highly enough.”

He enjoys attending the kumon centre once a week in Keighley. The tutor, Diane, is very supportive and is always there to help when he struggles on his worksheets.”

“Marks & Spencer in Castleford is a great shop food&veg are always fresh some clothes I can buy there too obviously it's only a small shop so they don't have everything. Staff are welcoming & very helpful they will always order clothes for you to pick up in store. I would really miss this shop if it were to close . So everyone get behind the staff to keep the store open.”

“Fantastic toy shop set over two floors. Has a variety of toys on display for children to try out. It does get a little crazy at times with youngsters flying past you on various wheeled toys. Ample parking at Crown point.”

“Yesterday we held our 4 year old's party here at Leapfrogs. This is the second year in a row that we have held our little ones party here. Yet again, the staff at Leapfrogs were very attentive and asked us how we wanted the day rather than pushing us to certain times like other places we have been. Our son has a severe nut allergy, which they catered for so that he didn't feel excluded. No one at the party experienced any issues with the softplay itself or with the food and drink. The food provided as part of the party was just what 4 year olds needed to refuel and keep playing afterwards. All in all everybody had a brilliant time and I believe some of our friends will be booking their children's party here in the future. Thanks again, guys. Keep up the good work!”

“My daughter first used Wise Owl's Nursery in 2010 and her 4th little boy is now in the baby room. It's a lovely nursery. All four boys have been very happy in all their time there. So much so one of them wants to work at Wise Owl's when he is old enough!”

“Popped in on Christmas eve for one last gift. The staff were clearly busy, but they were smiley and still working hard. I saw them have to deal with some quite 'stressed' shoppers, yet they kept their cool and were professional at all times.”

“Amelia was so incredibly helpful and patient with me as she assisted me to pick a pram and car seat for my first baby. She gave me clear instructions and demonstrations on how to use each pram I was interested in, she helped weigh up the pros and cons of each of my options and she was so polite and lovely. I visited the showroom twice and she made sure I was certain about my choice before I committed to the right one which I am now so happy with as it is perfect for me and my partner. “On Saturday I went to Argos for a couple of things one of which I had to take it back today and I was served by Claire the lovely manager in there and she helped me on Saturday and Friday. I feel safe in there as I know there’s people who look out for me”

“Had a lovely couple of hours with my two children. The equipment kept them busy the whole time. Staff were lovely and the food was cheap and good portion sizes. Perfect to let the kids run their energy off for a few hours. Highly recommend to all parents :)”

“LGR has been a really positive place for my oldest daughter to go. It's not just childcare, but a space to grow and learn. The staff are extremely patient and caring towards the children and really help to make every day count in terms of learning and experiences. Their forest school has been a particular favourite to my homebody daughter, it's really increased her confidence and assisted in her learning and becoming ready for school. My youngest daughter will be starting LGR soon and i am excited to see how LGR enhances her learning journey too.”

“We’ve been coming to Baby Sensory Wakefield since my little girl was 6 weeks old! We’re currently in our final term and i can genuinely say we have enjoyed every single session that we have had here! Loretta is absolutely amazing and always makes us feel so welcome. The activities are lovely and i feel like my little girl has come on so much since attending the sessions! I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to take their babies to classes!”

“As it is my son’s last day at your nursery I thought it would be a good opportunity to recognise the staff within the Elves room. Fortunately Jess has been my son’s key worker throughout his time at Daisy Chain. My son has a fantastic bond with Jess and it is evident this has benefitted him greatly in his development. More recently he has formed a fantastic bond with both Debi and Lisa. Again, like Jess these are friendly, helpful and professional members of staff. I have always been grateful for feedback on my son’s time at nursery at the end of the day and find that the Elves team always deliver this in an extremely effective way. They are more than accommodating to my son’s requests and we feel comfortable leaving him given their professional and courteous manner. I would be grateful if you would recognise Jess, Debi and Lisa internally as I personally believe they are a credit to Daisy Chain.”

“My now 7 year old daughter attended this nursery from just 5 and a half months and loved every minute! She was more prepared for school than I could ever have hoped for. My 2 year old currently attends and talks about his friends and the staff that care for him every day. He can’t wait for his nursery days! The nursery was able to offer a brilliant settling in process for him, with tailor made visits to his room before he started. The staff are really tuned in to his interests and he learns so much. They always greet him with a smile and he adores his key worker. He eats much better at nursery than he does at home, so clearly enjoys the food. He takes part in all the different activities on offer and loves the outdoor area! It’s a bonus that the nursery is also one of the most reasonably priced in the area, as well as providing nappies/wipes etc. l feel very much at ease knowing he is, most of all, happy and safe.”
