“We took our toddler here and he enjoyed all the areas. Lovely soft play, staff were very friendly, really nice size with plenty of tables/chairs. Love the toilets just for the kids as well.”

“Lovely food, really nice staff. We’ve been three times in the last couple of weeks. The food is first class. The prices are reasonable, in particular the drinks. We like our meats very well cooked, and the beef here is slow cooked over a long time and you can separate the beef by just prodding it with the end of your knife. We cannot find beef like this anywhere else in Halifax, and the portions are quite big. The Sunday lunch roast dinner is brilliant, and you can have a small roast for a tenner but there was still plenty of food on the plate, including a beef steak over half inch thick! We have booked Xmas fayre lunch for the extended family. While they serve food daily, if you only eat out at lunchtime, they are open Friday-Sunday for lunch.”

The 5* goes to the impressive breadth of activities, age appropriate slots, entrance deals and food options for the kids. Prices are excellent, very affordable by comparison to most other local play gyms. Visiting this week, so will update!”

“Our little girl started in the baby room in September and has settled in so well. It is a nerve wracking transition and I feel that both her & us as parents have been well supported with regular updates and reassurance. I can tell from updates and our little girls reactions that they genuinely know her & her little ways. She has a clear affection for the staff and it is lovely to see the genuine bond she has with her keyworker, Sophie & others. We are truly grateful for the amazing care you take of our daughter & the way in which you have supported her to settle in. It is a hard job that you do but you all seem to make it look so easy. “We sent our baby to Yulia full time from 8 months old and could not be more grateful to her for the way she took care of him and settled him in quickly. She was very good at understanding his needs and managed to get him sleeping (which is not easy!) and supported him to explore and play. He is always excited arriving at her setting. Her and her husband took care of children from a range of ages and kept them all entertained and interacting and learning from each other. Yulia really has a gift with children. She is extremely honest and trustworthy and kept us constantly updated on our baby.”

“My daughter joined Muddy Boots earlier in the year and we can’t praise the nursery and staff enough. Since joining the investigators room she has developed a great bond with the team in the room, especially her key person (Beth). They go over and above every day she is in and always keep in mind her interests. The app is great and it’s lovely to get pictures of her enjoying herself at nursery, especially after such a difficult year!”

“The team have been absolutely brilliant with L from day 1 in this room, and we are really sad he will be moving rooms shortly as we trust that nothing is ever forgotten. So much time and focus was put into helping him walk, especially by Jessie, and the fact he is so happy every day is definitely down to this relationship. It's amazing to also see that standards never drop on Jessie's day off and L adores all of the team. There's no better feeling than picking him up from nursery and hearing his laughter down the hall.”

“LGR has been a really positive place for my oldest daughter to go. It's not just childcare, but a space to grow and learn. The staff are extremely patient and caring towards the children and really help to make every day count in terms of learning and experiences. Their forest school has been a particular favourite to my homebody daughter, it's really increased her confidence and assisted in her learning and becoming ready for school. My youngest daughter will be starting LGR soon and i am excited to see how LGR enhances her learning journey too.”

The staff have become extended family who have provided us with confidence, daily updates (in person & via their app) and made sure that our children have been supported in a fun and safe environment. The children are taught social, educational and practical skills in preparation for their transition to primary school. If you're looking for a nursery in this area, I'd highly recommend Giggles - we can't thank management and their team enough!”

“Love it here! First time visiting today with my 9 month old son (can crawl and stand). There’s an absolutely brilliant baby section, babies from probably about 4-5 months would probably enjoy this area with the sensory aspects of it. There’s an under 4s section which is nice but small. Then a larger play area for bigger kids. The play centre, toilets, tables etc are all so clean and welcoming. There’s free parking. The food and drinks are also really well priced. It was really busy In the school holidays but I’d imagine in term time it might be a bit quieter. Still busy or not busy it’s a brilliant place to go!”

“Can’t fault this brand at all, ordered on a Sunday and was delivered on the Tuesday morning. Amazing colour options to suit everyone’s preference. Easy to put up and put back down and into the great travel bag provided. As a twin mum these are going to make life so much easier and they don’t take up much room in the car BONUS!. So happy to have prams that are no longer bulky and heavy to move!”
