βMy daughter has absolutely thrived here. The staff are so attentive to the children and their range of activities are great. They go above and beyond to make the nursery as exciting and engaging as possible. Love the animal visits (reindeer at Christmas, baby owls and lambs at Easter, who wouldn't love that!?) Wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Toybox to any fellow parent wanting excellent childcare.β
βMeanwood Preschool is such a special place! Helen and the team are fantastic at what they do and our son has absolutely loved his time there. The children enjoy a huge range of activities to promote their learning and we have been delighted with how much our son has grown and developed over the past year. Thank you!β
βBoth of our children attended Domi Domingo Day Nursery and weβre so grateful for the care and support they received. As an EAL family, it was really important for us to find a nursery that valued and supported our home language, especially during the settling-in period. The staff are kind and nurturing, the food is healthy and balanced, and the nursery celebrates diversity and inclusion in a beautiful way. We couldnβt recommend it more!β
βLovely little picture house, great atmosphere. Lovely staff.β
βDrift is an excellent fun sensory experience for children with additional needs. Totally different to anything Iβd seen before. Performers were great.β
βMy oldest daughter went here and loved it, and when our second is old enough, we will be sending her here. The staff are great and really committed, and unlike many nursery's the staff seem to stay here quite a long time, so there is great continuity for the children. Apparently, the building was purpose built as a nursery so the layout is cool with different zones where the children can learn and play different toys and learn different thngs. Also the food is good and the outdoor play area is big enough for really active children to have loads of room to run about.β
βLove Asher's Yoga class on a Friday evening, there's a very relaxed friendly atmosphere and all levels of ability are welcome. The studio is a bit cold in winter but you soon warm up and forget about the temperature. The perfect way to relax into the weekend. Oh also it's very affordable. Edit: this class has now moved to Sundays at the same time.β
βThe team have been absolutely brilliant with L from day 1 in this room, and we are really sad he will be moving rooms shortly as we trust that nothing is ever forgotten. So much time and focus was put into helping him walk, especially by Jessie, and the fact he is so happy every day is definitely down to this relationship. It's amazing to also see that standards never drop on Jessie's day off and L adores all of the team. There's no better feeling than picking him up from nursery and hearing his laughter down the hall.β
βLittle Adventurers Montessori goes above and beyond week in, week out. The team plan wonderful enriching experiences for the children (hatching baby chicks, visits with orphaned lambs, growing plants & vegetables and observing the life cycle of caterpillars and tadpoles). On top of this my son has weekly Spanish classes and wonderful forest school adventures. We love that the setting is very focused on outdoor learning and experiences, which we have struggled to find in other settings. As a Montessori setting the nursery is child-centred, allowing the children to direct their own learning and promoting independence. The nursery has an amazing team of experienced and caring staff, and being a smaller setting the staff have a great relationship with all the children. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication, it doesnβt go unnoticed! We are so pleased we found you :)β
βWell done to everyone including volunteers at tonight's food collection. I currently support The Real Junk Food Project and I hate seeing good food go to waste when there are so many needing help right now. We're all living in strange circumstances and we having no income coming in (self employed), it's a blessing to find these guys. Thank You xβ
βGreat little play area for under 12's, plenty of swings, slides and climbing framesβ
βLovely welcoming place , Great on a Friday Morning felt a warm welcome , Coffee and biscuit and lovely craft items on sale for charity , Thank Youβ
βLovely place to have a cuppa and rest. Alternatively, you can join different classes, e.g. karate and zumba are advertised.β
βGreat space for kids to play, variety of toys, a slide, chalk board, perfect for toddlers. Also has easy access to the Heart centre (and the fantastic Assembly kitchen), you can order food and get it to tiny boo. Well worth a visit!β
βAttended a children's craft event, lots of fun & very helpful volunteers - well worth a visitβ
βA massive thank you to Mr Graham Vernon and all at BBGC for supporting the Safefirst Steps campaign with us at Learning Abouts, the parents and children within the local schools and community; especially Barden Primary School. We can highly recommend for a friendly, reliable team and company. for All your questions and needs they will be there 100%.β
βNice place to stay and the food seems nice and the drinks are made with love and a nice accent! Thanks to Zarah for the smile, the french language with almost no accent and the nice note :) I won't be coming back anytime soon because I'm living quite far but if I ever come again near, I'l come say hi for sure! Thanks a lot :)β
βWe love it at Jigsaw Gyms and Tiny Tykes! Great service, relaxed and really affordable.β
βWe had our son's party here today. We're extremely impressed with the whole experience. Clean, tidy, safe, all the facilities you need including parking, separate party area, disco dancing, bright and engaging softplay, quieter play zone for role play, reading and drawing, great food menu for adults, great drinks, they even supply spare wipes in the baby change area. They think of everything! The party was fantastic, the party host was AMAZING! Everything was about making the day special for our son, children gravitated towards her. Even the adults felt like they knew her, you were made to feel like friends and family. Honestly, absolutely superb! In terms of party package, it was all taken care of, brilliant decorations, food, party bags which were brilliantly put together. Everything kids want which is exactly how it should be for a birthday party. All leftover sandwiches were wrapped up so we could take them home which at other venues we normally have to awkwardly ask for but this time it was suggested to us β My son and all his friends and family loved it. Thank you ββββββ
βExcellent place to do any kind of eventsβ
βExcellent cinema! Been coming here since the early 2000s and glad Vue have brought it back from the brink. I see a lot of people complaining about the self service and comfort of the seats. For me the self service is way better (although I am an introverted Zillennial) being able to decide in your own time is great. The sweet section that was in the old cinema was the same premise. All the seats a much more comfy than other Vue cinema's I've recently been to, just because it doesn't have recline buttons doesn't make it any worse.β
βLove this shop. Got everything you need and plenty of parking. Staff are really helpful tooβ
βWe had a very pleasant afternoon having lunch and browsing the farm shops! Itβs very well organised and has plenty of parking. Itβs dog friendly everywhere including the farm shop which was brilliant! Thereβs plenty of space for children to let off steam! Theyβve currently have PYO sunflowers which you need to book tickets online. Lunch was great and you can order from a QR code at your table!β
βWent here to celebrate 25 yrs since our first date and we were looked after by all the staff who couldn't have done any more for us if they tried. When we arrived there was a card and bottle of prosecco on our table from the staff which was a lovely gesture. Food was spot on on arrival you got tea and biscuits then a 3 course meal to have as and when you wanted it then afternoon tea was served. All other staff that took us and looked after us in the parade and winners enclosures were so friendly and made you feel special. If you want to have a great day at the races with wonderful staff I highly recommend Pontefract Racecourse.β
βLove it here! First time visiting today with my 9 month old son (can crawl and stand). Thereβs an absolutely brilliant baby section, babies from probably about 4-5 months would probably enjoy this area with the sensory aspects of it. Thereβs an under 4s section which is nice but small. Then a larger play area for bigger kids. The play centre, toilets, tables etc are all so clean and welcoming. Thereβs free parking. The food and drinks are also really well priced. It was really busy In the school holidays but Iβd imagine in term time it might be a bit quieter. Still busy or not busy itβs a brilliant place to go!β
βThank you so much CT staff for a thoroughly enjoyable morning session with our grandchildren aged 4 and 6. A safe, clean spacious environment, food (kids lunchboxes and jkt pots for Ganny and Granddad) reasonably priced and perfectly acceptable. Our two love the outdoor area but also enough to keep them happy and safe inside. All staff extremely pleasant and professional, work hard to maintain cleanliness and efficiency. The best soft play/ activity centre we've been to (and we've seen a few!!) Thankyou.β
βLovely soft play for younger children, everything felt like it was suitable for my 17mo who is at the cruising stage. The food is also great, with lots of choice for both adults and children.β
βWhat a great little surprise. The manager was super helpful, and the place itself was exactly as a working men's club should be. I have never heard of the place before but will deffo remember it. Everyone should go. It's great and the beer is at the right price as it should be.β
βAccording of my experience and what I saw i always see potential on this community park / memorial park / Easy way to say I love this place and hope to see to grow into something positive and unique.β
βLovely staff, lovely toys all clean and looked after. Great location. We attend the baby group and have for months. Great food options, reasonable price. It really is the ladies who run it that make it.β
