“We visited here today after a mummy friend recommended it. I love everything about sustainability and thrifting! We were NOT disappointed! There is a shop FULL of tidy easy to find sections for all ages for baby and toddler! Loads of great condition clothes, maternity clothes for mum to be, bibs, nappies, blankets, cot sheets, feeding equipment, organisation bags and everything baby centred ! There’s an upstairs too with toys and older children clothes up to 5-6 I believe. The staff were so friendly and lovely - after you purchase something you receive a canvas book bag with two new story books age specific in too! If I suggest anything- park in the car park opposite the shop - as you’ll leave there with bags full of great stuff! Great place , great bits and great staff!”

“I've just been to Hedgehog for a live demonstration on making pineapple & tumeric sauerkraut by @thirtyaday. What a gem of a shop! I love it! So many great items from fresh organic fruit and veg to evey other organic product that you can think of. A huge selection of handmade natural soaps, cleaning products, condiments, nuts, beans, pastas, spices, snacks, fresh baked breads, etc!!!! Amazing! The demo was fantastic and well presented. Everything was so well thought out with taster samples, a recipe card and full instructions as well as the shop having all the ingredients and fermenting jars available to buy! All questions answered - can't wait for the next demo! Yaaaay Hedgehog!!! :-)”

“Couldn’t recommend these guys more! They provided a team lunch for a meeting in our office. Incredible sandwiches and incredible value for money. Our team was extremely happy with their little pack ups which each had a sandwich, side salad, savoury snack and sweet snack. Will definitely be doing this again for lunchtime meetings.”

The range is constantly changing, so this is somewhere you want to visit in person, although they do advertise on local Facebook selling pages, too. There is a low step to enter the shop, but it is practicable by a wheelchair: either a manual, or an electric wheelchair if you have a curb climber. Staff more than happy to assist.”

“We hadn’t been to Devour for a while and decided to go as a Friday night treat — it was just lovely. Such a nice atmosphere in both the bar and restaurant. The lighting and music were spot on — calm, relaxed and easy to chat without any distractions. The team were friendly and attentive, drinks and wine were great, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was beautifully presented, with so much care in the details — the crockery, glassware, table settings, and the gorgeous autumnal flower displays in the windows. It’s tough for hospitality at the moment, but Devour have created something really special and clearly work hard to keep it that way. Every part of it feels cared for — from the bar and restaurant to the garden and even the car park, which is neat, tidy and beautifully lit. We spent around £60 per person including cocktails, starters, a large sharing main with sides, wine, and a shared dessert — good value for the quality and experience. Everything about it just feels considered and done with pride. Definitely worth a visit if you’re after a relaxed but special evening out.”
