“My partner and I have been using this pharmacy for a few years and am here regularly, we have always had great service from them. They had a refit recently and the staff were thrown into a building-site nightmare, but they couldn’t close while it was being done because they are contracted by the nhs to stay open no matter what! I couldn’t imagine trying to work in the conditions these poor guys had to and yet they managed it with Grace while being shouted at daily by customers who couldn’t understand they were doing the best they could with what they had. Caroline the pharmacist is lovely; very efficient and polite, Annettee and the other ladies I deal with regularly are all great and always go out of their way to ensure I have a smooth visit. They are compassionate and helpful, never miserable and I have no problem recommending this pharmacy. To the other people leaving bad reviews for the last couple of months: I appreciate it can be frustrating when a pharmacy doesn’t have your medication in or you have to wait but these guys are still people and are doing their best. Don’t forget; they are the main pharmacy for the walk-in and the doctors, not just some little independent and they are still trying to pick up the pieces after what was (in my opinion) an appalling refit-so blame the contractors! Keep your chin up ladies - I appreciate you!”

“Can't fault the staff here at all. They are always welcoming, chatty, interested and helpful. There have been times when they have bent over backwards to help and others where they have just been really kind. When I had a ridiculously swollen arm from an insect bite, they got me a glass of water there and then to take the antibiotics without me asking. On another occasion, the pharmacist spotted an infection in my 2-week old daughter, which doctors had initially brushed off, which involved her being hospitalised for 3 days - had this been left, she would have been very poorly. They make a fuss of my baby whenever we go in (the same with any child, and they know the names of so many, too), they've saved me money by applying coupons I didn't know about, they don't just sell you the most expensive product there...the list goes on. If you want a service which is personal and genuinely friendly, this is the place. :) (Re: opening times, they're the same as the doctors, pretty much. It's not 24 hours. If you want a late opening place, try Glasshoughton Asda.)”

“I phoned the pharmacy today chasing up my repeat prescription and the lady could not have been more helpful. She couldn't find my prescription but then looked via my national health number and advised me it had gone elsewhere. No idea why as I always have my prescriptions at Ferrybridge. She said she would phone the pharmacy it had gone to and asked me to call her back in 30 minutes. When I called her back she told me she had managed to get the prescription back and my tablets would be delivered this evening. Now that's what I call great customer service. Very refreshing too to deal with someone who obviously cares about her job and customers,especially after the week I've had with the rude staff at healthcare first. So nice to speak to someone polite and helpful at this pharmacy.”

“Went around 0930 not too busy at this time.. Always the option to drop off and pick up later. Was told it would be 15 minutes it was 10, Need to bear in mind hospital medication is also distributed from here so a wait should sometimes be expected. Parking is free not sure for how long but i was around 20 minutes Great service *****”

“Absolutely fantastic pizzas and garlic bread is to die for. Would highly recommend this pharmacy. The beer aisle is always stocked up and the staff at the chemist are great.
