“Random work trip led to a stop off here after a quick Google search for takeaways in the local area. Special salt and pepper, drunk mixed meat noodles, prawn toast and crispy seaweed. Outstanding food. Small portion for the cost of the seaweed. But everything else was delicious and large portions. Very nice suprise. Cold inside the shop was the only point lost maybe a little heater or blower customers can turn on off when they are waiting. Fantastic other than my two very minor points bravo Pearl Dragon. Will return next time I'm in the area.”

The food is excellent, the staff, whom I assume to be family, are courteous, attentive and on the ball. Always a friendly welcome, great atmosphere, and whether people notice or not, excellent background music. I cannot praise this establishment highly enough! We fancied a sit down Chinese meal and when we rang a few places to book, Canton Chef answered their phone :) When we got there, parking was easy along the street. Staff are very sweet and attentive. “I honestly don't know how they can produce such high quality food as a buffet, with so many available dishes. All the meat was tender, even the beef. They had some unusual dishes to try, like eel sushi, which was delicious and apples cooked in wine, which was the star of the show, in my opinion. Very friendly staff too. “Went in on Tuesday 18th March 2025 at 7pm. Ordered 2 fish, 1 chips, peas and a scallop. The fish was fresh as it got fried when we went in. Chips were delicious and the scallops were also quality. One of the best fish shops around.”

“I can only apologise for the delay in writing this review. My partner and I visited a couple of months ago when staying locally. We loved it so much on the first night that we went back the next day. We have since been a few weeks ago when we were in Huddersfield. They have a Thai Chef and an open kitchen. Their front of house staff are awesome, especially Tom who I believe owns the place. The last time my partner and I went, they had not quite opened for the evening but as Tom saw us passing, he came out and gave us an incredibly warm welcome and even the Chef remembered us! It felt like we were visiting old friends. I went to Thailand last year and can tell you the food from here just does not get more authentic. So much so that the first time I dined there, I had tears in my eyes as the amazing flavours, sights and smells took me right back to Thailand. It is located on an industrial estate but please do not let that put you off as if you are anywhere in Horbury and follow your nose, it will take you straight to this humble place. My partner lives in Liverpool and I live in Manchester. Both of us will travel to go there for a meal without hesitation. It really upsets me to see the negative reviews and they are undeserved. Yes, we all have bad days but never have I come across such an amazing place like this. It is a take away but you can dine in its wonderful surroundings and enjoy the atmosphere. We will be returning time and time again. A huge thank you to everyone who works there. Keep up the good work.”

“Came in for some food with my fiancé, our local was closed so we decided to try Aanya. We were pleasantly surprised! The waiter for very attentive and friendly. The food was very nice, full of flavor and not oily. We really enjoyed the meal and found the restaurant very beautiful. The glass spice pictures on the wall are very tasteful . “4.5 Stars – Great Pizza & Fast Service! Had a really good experience ordering from Tutti’s on Wakefield Road. The pizza was fresh, cheesy, and full of flavour — you can tell they don’t skimp on toppings. I also tried their chicken wrap which was tasty and filling. Delivery was quick and everything arrived hot, which is always a bonus. Prices are reasonable too, especially with the portion sizes. Staff on the phone were polite and helpful when I called to ask about an offer. Only slight improvement would be to add a few more sides or dessert options to the menu — but for a solid pizza fix in Huddersfield, Tutti’s hits the spot. Definitely ordering again soon.”

“The people that took over this place of more recent times is outstanding. Easily my favourite chinese food around here :) The food is always high quality, and is the chef isnt happy with how their food is going out, will even redo the dish to be great. Couldnt ask for more! Ive been going to this place over several owners and I honestly think its been the best its ever been. The price might be a little on the higher side compared to some others, but they are all increasing and catching up now and the quality of this place is like no others. I really hope they never shut up shop, as having food from here as a treat is one of the things I always look forward to :) Edit: I should say, my recommendation would be Beef in Black Bean with rice. I always add extra chillies though as I like it spicy, but even without, the flavour is amazing.”

“I ordered food for me and my family. The roast pork noodle box was scorching hot, tasted amazingly and tasted home made which was amazing me and my family really enjoyed it. The prawns I ordered were amazing and 100% one of the best prawns we have all had (even my dad has a few even though he usually doesn’t eat prawns that must say something). The ribs were so soft and were tearing off of the bone, they were just gorgeous. We also received 4 pepsi’s, prawns crackers and fortune cookie for free which we are all thankful for. We would also like to say a huge thank you to the cooks, owners and the owners daughter which is my friend. Also thank you to whoever picked out our fortune cookies this was our first time and they were scarily correct and fit us all very well.100% ordering again!”

Always nice polite always ask if everything is OK with out food the decor in here is so clean Love the tables the bathrooms are spotless would highly recommend this place my girls also love the chicken burgers. 10/10”
