“I had a lovely weekend at Marston Croft. I have been a lot of hotels and Bed and Breakfast. This is the best experience so far. Owners Amanda and Graham were super friendly and the house itself is well decorated and Amanda has added a lot of personal touch to make it so warm. It was an exceptional experience esp. with homemade biscuits and hot tea ready upon our arrival. The breakfast served with fresh fruit, local produce sausage and homemade bread. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there and experience their superb hospitality. They have set "the bed and breakfast" to another high level. Will definitely go back. Remember to try Amanda homemade cake - Lemon Drizzle cake... yummy!”

“Weekend break in the Holiday Inn Leicester was amazing value. A proper quality hotel with large clean and nicely furnished rooms. The bed was massive. All the staff we met were very friendly and great at offering advice if we needed. Breakfast which is the traditional continental and English breakfast was great, lovely and fresh, with a good choice. Francisco our waiter at breakfast was helpful and very smiley. Definitely recommend this hotel if you want top quality a hotel experience but at reasonable rates”

“Xmas meal group booking on 10th December at the Friary .The booking was for 23 people who are not easily pleased !!!! The whole experience from start to finish was great . The standard of the meal &service provided by everyone was excellent especially under the challenging circumstances as it was the day of the world cup quarter finals . All of our party said it was the best meal we had eaten and that goes back many ye The table decorations and the reserved area of dining surpassed our expectations . The whole of the team were great from waiting staff to bar staff and not forgetting the kitchen staff behind the scenes .They were all very professional ,friendly and good ambassadors for your venue . Nothing seemed to much trouble for anyone . I can definitely say the whole of the team at The Friary went above and beyond for us We will not hesitate to use you for any future events and also for ad hoc visits /dining .”

“I always love ordering from here. The pasta is always delicious and the arancini balls are very tasty. Love the little doughnut balls too. I haven't had a bad pasta bowl from here! I will keep going back as long as my wife lets me. Just note that the restaurant is online only, the location is actually Zizzi's. I assume it is made in the same kitchen but you can't visit Coco di Mama, which is a shame as I like to visit when I'm in London.”

“Quirky little cafe in an ideal location in wigston. Food is lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed. We could spend the whole day here, chatting, eating and playing the board games. Definitely worth a visit. We are looking forward to the summer visits.”

“Really nice little Coffee Shop based within the Garden Centre. Serving '200 degrees' coffee beans - always a winner with me! Small menu. Great selection of hot and cold drinks. Big selection of cakes too. Recommended.”

“Tried the Moroccan breakfast at Casablanca Café and it was absolutely delicious. The eggs cooked in olive oil and the hashbrowns were especially tasty, and everything on the plate was fresh and full of flavour. It came with Moroccan tea, which was a lovely touch, and I also had a flat white—one of the best coffees I’ve had recently. The place is very clean, with a great atmosphere. I even managed to take a few work calls while I was there, so it’s perfect if you need a spot to relax or get things done. There’s a great variety on the menu, and I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes.”

The service is impeccable there’s nothing better than walking into somewhere and being asked “the usual”. If you’re looking for a family friendly family run place to eat Kells is the one.”

“I have been to this place on a few occasions now. Very good selection of pastries and cakes. Having said that, even the food on the menu is nice too. Slightly on the expensive side, but worth it. Staff are polite and helpful. Food can sometimes take a little while. I find parking in the Haymarket Shopping Centre the easiest.”

“A lovely local pub, it’s so lovely and modern inside, spacious and clean, good atmosphere. Good food and drink menu with vegetarian and vegan choices, prices are really decent and nice portion size. Staff is friendly and helpful. Plenty of tables and outside tables with spaces for children. Free parking spaces.”

“Update: Actually revisited with family, 5 people. Unfortunately quantity of meat was small and not good value for the cost of the meal. We spoke to the staff and they refused to give any more. Disappointed in the service. Won't be returning and reducing my rating. Amazing food, absolutely loved it! The best Doner I've ever eaten without question! Had lunch and got the Kebap and Wrap Doner. Bread was fresh, salad tasty, and the Doner an sauces were spot on. Got the chips with Harrissa which were good. Both myself and the Mrs were in agreement that we will be coming back regularly. Great service, really clean. Got free Oreo milkshake shots which tasted amazing so will be grabbing one next visit. Owner is a really nice guy and nothing was too much trouble. If you haven't been yet, then get over there! So good!”
