“There were three of us and we were greeted emmediatley in the restaurant part and we sat outside. The warm and welcoming service by Tina and the head chef Naaz was outstanding. We ordered a variety of dishes.Prawns, chicken,jeera rice, Served with peshawar naans,side salad, massage chips and soft drinks. All of which was promptly served hot and delicious. The bigger surprise was the bill. A mere £32.00 The pub is historical and in need of a makeover.Regardless of that one observation I would recommend it for a meal out with family, friends or even a celebratory get together. Thankyou for a wonderful evening.”

“Best Chinese around. Dragon Special Curry and Chicken Curry are outstanding. Proper Chicken, not the soggy slimey stuff that most local Chinese takeaways now serve. Singapore rice is very good and the prawn toast is amazing.”

“We recently hosted my engagement party at Tipu Sultan Leicester and I feel obliged to write a review regarding our experience. From the very start during the planning stage, till the very end of our event, the manager and staff at Tipu sultan were outstandingly accommodating and pleasant to work with. They listened to our needs and requests, were always on standby, and allowed us to have the most enjoyable and stress free afternoon which exceeded all expectations. The starters had arrived merely 20 minutes after everyone had arrived and settled, and shortly after the mains arrived as well. All items were hot, fresh, and tasted delicious. It is obvious that the food is prepared with a lot of love, care, and is uniquely authentic. The interior design of the restaurant itself is breathtakingly beautiful, and the atmosphere was lively and pleasant. The only thing we would say is that the women’s bathroom could be maintained a little better. Other than that we had an amazing time hosting our engagement at Tipu Sultan, and we would definitely visit again in the future. I highly recommend this restaurant to host events, or even if you are just wanting a meal out.”

“Went there for a colleague's birthday and had an amazing time. The catering was excellent and the food was great. Drinks were reasonably priced and and there were a lot of options. Would definitely recommend, especially as you have to go through a Tardis to get to the toilets!”

“Visited early November.Excellent lamb chops, superb steak and the Bruce cake was heavenly! I went all in and ordered a large dinner. Normally I am wary of steak. It's a large price commitment in a restaurant and you don't want the risk of it being poorly handled. No fears here! The chops were perfect, the chimichurri so good I ordered more with the main. The Tomahawk was a perfect medium, and anyone who says it should be rarer you are missing the point of rendering the fat, and it was well rested. The Bruce cake was an invitation to diabetes I thought, and worth the risk. I suggest asking for a jug of pouring cream or some vanilla ice cream to help the richness. For a quiet, November Monday night there was a steady trickle of tables which is a good sign. I almost didn't stay when I went in and asked for the drinks list, it doesn't sell wine, which for me would have normally been a reason to not continue as I like a glass of Bordeaux with my beef, but the smells hooked me and I'm delighted I stayed. You will see some negative reviews, all I can say is each to their own. Go yourselves and make your own judgement, it is worth it.”

“Went to b&q in wigston on Sat 27th Sept to look for some form of sheeting for my dog kennel and the staff was so helpful and friendly, especially Cara she went out of her to find a solution so my dog could be insulated over the winter months. She was very experienced and helpful in her suggestions which help me purchase the right equipment. Thank you Cara you're a real asset to B&Q.”

“A lovely quiet, restful cafe, Staff are great and the lunches are fantastic. Home made Cakes, scones, panini etc washed down with fresh coffee. Couldn't be better. My wife and I go every Tuesday ( missed the odd one,away on Holiday) become part of our life. Easy Parking we walk as its only 10 minutes away from us. 2 of our grandchildren who live local, one of whom is disabled enjoyed it there, other Mums bring their children as there is activity items for them and a children's menu. SUTTON IN tHE ELMS CAFE a great place to go, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.make sure you check opening times It doesn't change but it is limited.”
