“This is a fantastic little pub wines spirits and lots of beer, they have lots of choice and there is something for everyone to drink. The place is really nicely decorated and has upstairs seating as well. We popped in before going to dinner and had some really good wine and beer. It has a really good atmosphere it's really worth a visit staff are super friendly and know there stuff about the drinks they are serving. This pub is worth visiting and is a must if your beer drinker or just like a nice glass of something.”

“Overall it is a great restaurant with great food quality & taste and excellent customer service. The Salmon was excellent. It tasted amazing with the potatoes and brocoli. The Chocolate and Truffle Torte tasted great, it had a nice and thick chocolate texture. The only thing I didn't like was the sauce underneath it.”

“Absolutely incredible lunch today. A really superb place to eat, faultless in every way it's a long time since I have been able to say that about any UK restaurants. I have gone to a lot of places in the UK of which there is always something wrong. However, this place has it all. Food first rate, service fast and polite, super ambience. All parts of each dish are perfectly executed. It may look simple but the love and care in the kitchen is clear in the taste of the food. I am so impressed I will be returning again. “Utterly love this little gem. Old school vibe with conversation being the main entertainment. The selection of beers is amazing and there's a wide range of non/low alcohol beers that are actually worth the hype. Couldn't recommend higher.”

“This was our 1st visit to The Chandler Arms and it won’t certainly be the last. The Sunday roast was delicious with a good variety of vegetables and a very tasty Yorkshire pudding. I had the ginger sponge with custard for my dessert, it was amazing. The whole meal was very reasonably priced and was delicious. The service and atmosphere was fantastic, I highly recommend this village pub.”

“Two adults and 10-yr old staying one night in June 2019. Ample free on-site parking, was an initial bonus. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Lynn, and offered a lovely room (we stayed in the Yellow Room) that was clean and tidy, and extremely well stocked with extras such as towels, soaps and teas/ coffees. The bed was comfortable and as the venue is in a quiet location we all got a good night’s rest; which prepared us well for the most enjoyable breakfast the next morning – all freshly prepared by Lynn. It had lovely grounds that we would have had a stroll in had the weather been better, and the outdoor pool was definitely on our list had it not been having some refurbishment work. Our some also enjoyed the canine presence of Jedi and George! There are several pubs in the immediate area; one next door that we had lunch at. We would highly recommend the venue, and would happily stay again if we were in the area.”

“Lunchtime visit with older group. Service was great. Initially we were allocate a table up a few stairs. Mobility issue with one guest was immediately spotted and we were moved to a different table without having to ask. Team were attentive but didn't rush us. Menu offered good choices for everyone. Vegetarian options were a little limited but still plenty of choice. Food was tasty and good size portions.”

“A fine traditional pub with huge choice of ales. Visited on saturday lunch on the way to the Tigers game and so the place was packed. We ate some hot sausage rolls and vegetable samosas which soaked up the beer.”

“If you're looking for an old school pub with a relaxed homely feel, this is the place. We enjoyed Sunday lunch here after the Remembrance Day parade at Victoria Park, and I can't praise the staff and especially Colleen for hosting us. The food was 5*, and the locals were extremely welcoming. Looking at what this place has to offer from open comedy nights to quizzes in its separate venue, there's something for everyone. Child and dog friendly with an open fire and plenty of seating, I just wish I didn't live in Northampton as this would become my local!!! Until next time, to Colleen and the team, thanks from us all. “Cracking venue in the centre of Leicester. We saw the final tour of the legendary show of hands; this venue is just perfect. We sat in the circle and enjoyed an intimate and acoustically perfect set. The bar offers a good selection of beers and wine. It’s not too big, not too small just perfect.”

“We have visited the Rothley branch many times now, this is our favourite of all the Miller and Carter Restaurants that we have been to. The atmosphere is great, the food has always been excellent and the service perfect. As was our latest visit at the weekend. Our waiter was Santino, he has served us on many of our visits and in my opinion he is without doubt the best waiter you could ever have anywhere! His attentiveness and profesionalisim is second to none. Thankyou Santino and to all the team for such a great all round experience time after time!”
