“Amazing venue! I took my staff for a Christmas party and it was awesome. Fantastic Robbie Williams tribute act (Dan Budd). Although the venue was super busy the bar staff was very quick at serving and extremely welcoming and friendly. This was our first visit to your venue and it won't be the last. “A travelzoo deal brought us to the Falcon Hotel and the Rutland district. This was a part of the world I knew nothing about until now. The hotel has a history dating back centuries and the renovations and updating have been carried out really tastefully. The service throughout our stay has been first class and a big shout out on the quality of the breakfast offering. *****star. The main lounge, restaurant, and reception area is very nice with a very relaxed atmosphere ideal for late evening drinks. There is ample on-site car parking and the outdoor areas are brilliant you will just need good weather to enjoy them. All in all quite a little gem. We returned for our second visit and were as suitably impressed as we were on our original visit. All the plaudits remain the same but the hotel has added a new restaurant the 'Fern'. It is brilliant, the theme is that of a sharing menu with small plates. May I say they are delicious. We dined here both nights having originally planned to dine out. A big well done to the management on this addition.”

“Absolutely brilliant, great food great service, the refurbishment is lovely, really good value for the quality of the food. My only small criticism is that we were seated too near the door and we were freezing every time someone came in. We'll definitely be back but will stipulate where we sit”

“We had a great experience at Jimmy’s. First time having seafood boil and it was wonderful. Food was brought to us without much delay. Staff was polite and welcoming, especially our lovely waitress Ayesha! Will definitely be returning again to try out some of the other stuff on the menu. :)”

“Excellent very nice and local venue. Good food, veg and none veg with live Asian music most nights for all multicultural clientele groups. Ample free car parking, special discounted price delicious curry nights, best chilled drinks and fabulous musicians performing most nights. Great asset is their landlord and land lady (pradip and bindu ) as they are amazing very customer service focused management. They always welcome all customers and give every individual their undivided attention and professional service. We would definitely recommend it to ALL our family and friends without any reservations. Thank you for your help and support in serving our local communities- much appreciated. Thank you”

“This is my weekend treat. Such a lovely bunch of people. Hayley is amazing and always asks how we are. The staff overall are superb. Kind, friendly and thoughtful. Food is banging every single time. We are working our way through the menu. Lol! The chef always gives us a wave if he sees us. On a Sunday they have a saxophone player. He really adds to the atmosphere. He’s a truly nice guy too! We have made so many friends here. Whatever is going on in my life, this place cheers me right up and makes me feel I am abroad somewhere. There is nothing on the menu that we have tried so far, that we didn’t like. My faves are the French toast or the Posh eggs. Then the Churros, well… they are to die for!”

“Myself and my partner came for the Tasting Menu at the weekend, myself choosing the vegan option. I have read mixed reviews so was not sure what I was expecting. But as soon as I tasted the first course, it was delicious and just got better as each course came. All the dishes was amazing and my favourite dish was the Vegetable Garden with almond mousse. My partner loved all the dishes too with him choosing pairing wines and I chose gin... which they have their own gin! My partner does not usually eat vegan food and even he said he would choose to try this option next time. Highly recommend to anyone!”

“This is my go to for amazing service, food, honestly couldn’t ask for a better curry in Leicester. Whether your having a nice meal out or take away for a treat, you honestly can’t ask for a better place to go. The staff are friendly approachable and will litterally bend over backwards to make you experience top notch. If you haven’t tried it do! you won’t regret it!”

“We were a group of 14 who decided to try The Little Club after hearing good recommendations from friends that had dined there. We were not disappointed. We were upstairs next to the bar (Very Handy) and had pre-ordered to assist the chefs beforehand. We ordered large sharing platters of Sizzling Grills as well as the battered aubergine and the fish masala. All the starters were amazing and went down extremely well. We had various main courses all of which were very good and served alongside naan's and rice. Overall the food was fantastic and the service from the staff was exceptional. If anyone needed a new beer they were delivered very quickly and little things such as a spillage was cleaned up instantly. Those little things make a big difference. I would highly recommend The Little Club and especially the starters which were awesome.”

“A return visit something that is very rare for us locally. We were greeted in the bar area and asked if we would like a drink in the bar or at the table in the restaurant we chose the latter. We were given the choice of an a la carte, set or tasting menu. Being midweek we chose a la carte knowing we would share each dish ordered anyway. Having viewed the Chefs social media videos of his bread making we asked for a side order of the bread which was outstanding a sourdough, a focaccia and a crisp bread that came with a light butter and amazing olive oil. For starters we chose the grilled Octopus, confit tomato, tagiasche olive preserved lemon Pizza ( a signature dish of the chef owner) which was a real star dish the pizza base crisp & light. The confit tomatoes punchy with flavour, the olives and preserved lemon balancing out the whole dish with perfectly cooked Octopus. Our other starter was Fregola pasta from Sardinia, prawns, mussels & saffron, cooked to perfection & again packed with flavour. For mains we chose Halibut with a yellow tomato sauce the fish a generous sized portion that was skillfully cooked, the potato, samphire & mushroom garnish brought together the whole dish. Pork 4 ways showed the kitchens skill level as each element was again perfectly cooked each one giving a different layer of flavour & texture the pasta element silky & the sherry jus was indulgent balanced with the root vegetable garnish. For dessert we ordered the tartlet (chocolate) which was at the same level as recent michelin star versions we have tasted. Thin pastry that snapped when cut into, warm rich chocolate filling & toasted hazelnuts. Terra Mia, Another signature dish of the chef owner and a wonderful representation of his home town a dessert I have experienced here previously its worth visiting Sapori just to taste this dessert alone Service was outstanding, front of house staff very knowledgeable regarding the menu, wines & other drinks on the list. For me this place is worthy of 3 aa rosettes and deserves more recognition from Michelin and other food guides”

“This evening we ate in the Tapas Yamas restaurant. All food was excellent and our waitress Olivia was lovely. She is a new member of staff but found out everything we asked about if she didn’t know the answer. It is very new and only in their 4th week since opening but I would definitely recommend it and will be returning. The deli looked amazing too and I will be going back for breakfast and coffee before long too.”

“Best steak in Leicestershire and beyond! My quest to find the best steak in Leicestershire, and beyond, is over! It's right here thanks to Mollie, one of the few chefs who understand what rare is and how to achieve it to perfection! Perfectly rendering fat while keeping the meat rare is a skill few chefs ever achieve, Mollie is one of the few! The fact she is creating heaven for diners with extremely high quality meat cannot detract from her skills. A chef who knows her temperatures is worth their weight in gold! Anyone can ruin even the highest quality. Absolutely thrilled! Superb venue with lots of different seating options, intimate and sociable. Brilliant decor, very tasteful with theme that is varied but makes sense throughout the venue. Ales kept very well, staff who are professional, friendly and most importantly attentive without being invasive. Immaculately clean, ample parking, brilliant something for everyone menu, very reasonably priced, almost under priced. Absolutely fantastic venue for large parties or something more intimate. Well done to a brilliant team and especially Mollie who is producing steaks that would not look, or taste, out of place in a Michelin star restaurant!”

“Everards Beer Hall is a brilliant venue that just keeps getting better. The atmosphere is lively yet welcoming, with a fantastic selection of beers that highlight the best of Everards brewing. The new food menu is a real treat, fresh, varied, and perfectly paired with the drinks. A huge shoutout to Marie and Emma, who hosted the quiz with such energy and enthusiasm. Their warmth and charisma made the evening engaging and memorable, adding that extra spark to an already great night. Between the outstanding beers, delicious food, and the fun quiz, Everards Beer Hall is the perfect place for a night out. Highly recommended!”

“Really enjoy coming to the Case they have such a nice environment and dinning experience. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They have really been careful with the social distancing measures they have in place. The food is always good, brilliantly presented and very tasty, and as expected a hugh selection of champagne and drinks. It might not be the cheapest place around but it's worth a visit and every penny. Portion sizes are good and food is filling.”

“Very lovely pub. When we went it was quite quiet, so didn't really need to book. The pub itself was decorated nicely and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was honestly phenomenal. Everything was incredibly tasty and reasonably priced for what you get. The drinks I found were quite expensive for being a pub and this is the only thing to slightly grumble at. Honestly I can't wait to go back and have another steak here.”
