“Excellent fun at the Lock and Quay music festival on Saturday. My kids and partner absolutely loved it, especially the bucking bronco which was free for everyone to go on. The horse rides were a great idea and we were so lucky with the weather and the use of the field at the back too. Thanks for arranging it all too.”

“When you enter Mojoes, you instantly feel like you have left Liverpool. You could be anywhere tropical in the world. Fantastic cocktail menu available - deals on specific days (to save some pennies). “I have visited this pub many times over the years and like a fine wine it just seems to get better and better It's a Holt's pub so you get traditional style ale at £4 a pint. Service is friendly and helpful as are the locals. There is a large dining/function room which is well appointed. The car park is really ample and there always seems to be room. There's a dart board too”

“The White Star is a traditional two roomed pub with an unspoiled interior. The pub is named after the shipping company and there is a lot of shipping and titanic memorabilia on display. There is a wide selection of beers lager and cider including hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales. The ones i sampled were in excellent condition. The staff are very friendly and welcoming it's a nice cosy pub to visit.”

“Located on Love st Chester this is a great place to try out locally brewed ales and grab a great quality meal. There are some steps to the front of the building which lead on to a very large open room with plenty of seating with smaller rooms off ,they offer master classes in all types of drinks , friendly staff and very clean”
