“Stayed at the campsite over this weekend. Lovely owners and a lovely tucked away campsite with amazing views. Everyone friendly and a nice little farm at the bottom with some animals. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a campsite on the edge of delamere forest. Thanks”

“I called in at the garden centre today as I needed 2 trellis....I couldn't see one of the sizes a young lady at the till said they had 4 of the size I needed ....so a your man helped me look he found them but they were on a display!!!.. he went out of his way to ask a manager if I could buy on if them and he got me a discount as it had been on a display..then an older man came and help get the trellis off the display..sorry I didn't get there names... Great customer service really big thanks to these 3 staff members.. very happy customer... Many thanks Sue Brazendale”

“Always a lovely experience, whether I’m ordering cappuccino made with oatmilk in a take away cup. Or soup and a sandwich. And let’s not forget the great selection of cakes and pies. A really great coffee shop. Where you can buy wonderful cheese with cheese biscuits and condiments to enhance the already fab flavours of the cheese . Then there’s that local gin, all varieties. “We just finished the boat trip down the river,on lovely sunny day. Get in here,the food being really a great,the drink nice and the whole time,the staff kind,helpful. We choosen Gourmet Steak,Fish and Chips and S. Chicken.It was so good,literally just slid down on our throat. Good value for the prices,nice couple of hours,recommended.”

“calm, spacious, comfortable with multiple televisions to watch your favourite game. Beautiful bar, plenty of room where to sit and for added entertainment - the pool table. Staff is very sociable. Expects from customers certain approach to the choice of their outfit. Not strictly a dresscode but if you dress better for a cozy and quiet environment you wont get rowdies. Certainly not in this place”

“Went as a large group of 18 seniors at beginning of summer holidays for lunch.. We all had a set two course menu of a roast and apple crumble. Couldn’t fault food and service. Food was tasty, hot, and plentiful. A shout out for Lottie our waitress who was brilliant and understood that some people had special requests. We will be back again.”
