“This was the second time I had visited this cafe. My 17yr old grandson was with me this time. He loved it and so did I. Even though it was really hot outside, the cafe was shady and cool and very welcoming. I had the non meat option called Greenline. Dylan had the Fab Five Freddy. I had a fresh mint tea and Dylan had a cookie dough milkshake. Great food. Great staff. I will definitely be going back.”

“Mapi cafe has a great open plan and inviting atmosphere. The staff are warm and welcoming and happy to help. I had a cheese and ham toastie with sticky toffee frappe and a slice of lemon meringue cheesecake it all tssted exquisite. The toastie was the perfect bread ro filling ratio.”

“Frankly I was originally going to go to the cafe near there but it was full so me and my friends decided to go here and omg it is a hidden gem. The latte is amazing and frankly for a medium size it is huge. I wonder what the large size is. Well what I know for sure is that they gained a new regular lol”

“The best iced lattes and sweet treats ever! We love to pop in after a dog walk for a drink and a cake. Sausage rolls are absolutely fantastic too!! Everything is always freshly made. Staff are always so nice and polite. Love that this is my local coffee shop!”

“We drove in from across the border for this coffee shop and it was very worth it. Such a cool interior and a great sunny space to sit outdoors. An ideal cafe for reading a book. Coffee was tasty, but the flat white had too much milk (more like a latte). Friendly staff.”

“Fresh fruit with our pancakes and waffles. Pancakes and waffles were light and fluffy. 3 Pancakes per portion and 2 large waffles with each portion. Both come with syrup. Nice barn cafe atmosphere. Alpacas and chickens walking past the window My son as able to feed the Alpacas at our time arrival.”

“This is a great place! All the staff are so friendly and welcoming and make it such a nice place to enjoy a drink or some food. They even hold events throughout the year which are fab! They had an Easter bunny there today giving children a free Easter egg. There was also a live singer which created a great atmosphere, my little boy had a boss afternoon. Will definitely be returning!”

“Great place, came here for many years! Recently moved back into the locality and paid it another visit! We had a quality coffee using ROA oat milk - lovely - I usually avoid coffee shops using milks like Alpro so this was great!”

“Dropped by on-route to Crosby beach and chanced upon this place. Friendly barista in a bright airy space. Had a cuppa great decaf flat white - chocolatey with good dose of coffee sweetness. Typical of colombia bean flavor. Nice!”

“My Nephew and his Wife booked it for afternoon tea for Christening party. The food was delicious, staff friendly and premises clean and cosy. They even prepared special boxes for the children (food and colouring items), and for Vegan and gluten free guests as well.”

“One of the more consistent coffee shops in Chester. The drinks are all uniform, a very good standard expected and delivered every time. There are some pretty nice batch brew and hand brew options. Toilets are always clean, great baby changing facilities, too. What makes it for me though is the staff, always friendly, always accommodating, we never feel rushed to order or finish our drinks despite how busy they are, and it does get busy. I'll be honest, we have never tried the food, but it looks nice”

“Always crazy busy, but the coffee speaks for the wait. The staff is lovely and always great to talk to. At peak times wait can be long, but how the coffee tastes always makes it worth it. When I’ve had food here, there have been great options and is always at a high quality. If you are wanting to eat in though, best to either go early or not at the weekend as the space is small and there aren’t many tables”
