“I had heard about the tea room from others so decided to take my mother for afternoon tea today. It was absolutely fantastic and we were both trying really hard not to gobble everything down to get on to the next treat. We savoured the sandwiches, the numerous small cakes and then the scone. The whole atmosphere was welcoming and we were not rushed in any way by the friendly staff. Would definitely visit again and great value for money. I also loved the mango and passion fruit green tea. “Prom dress shopping…The ladies were genuinely friendly with no pressure to buy. There was such an amazing choice of prom dresses and my daughter tried on so many because they were so gorgeous. We were allowed to take photos as well, which I know some places don’t allow. The whole experience from being greeted on arrival to leaving with the dress of our choice was fantastic, which even included a complimentary dress bag. Thank you again. 100 percent recommend!”

“Always have to pop in when i’m in chester, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and honestly fit the vibe of the shop so well. They always have cute clothes, bags and jewellery stocked that i would genuinely give my whole life savings for. As well as so much Wiccan stuff which as a pagan is so amazing to see!! “Honestly couldn’t recommend oli enough, did an amazing job with my septum. Had bad expierence with a different place and it was infected. Oli however was awesome, explained my piercing and everything I’d need after it. And even when I had an issue with the jewellery after, oli was more than happy to help me with it. Regular, gluten free and vegan choices available(light bites only). Great coffee and teas available as is alternative milk choices. Very dog friendly too, which is brilliant! “We came to Ava Harrison when my son was 3, he had been to a few barbers prior but absolutely hated getting his hair cut, someone recommended Ava Harrison to us, so we booked in, the first time going I was a little nervous but the staff in their are absolutely lovely! The shop is a kids dream! My nerves calmed down when we met Kate who is an absolute god send! She is so patient, gentle and kind to my baby, she reassures him every single time he is there, he used to be terrified of the clippers but since going to see Kate he is absolutely fine, he used to get so upset at the words “we’re going to the barbers” now I just say we’re going to see Kate today and he smiles! My oldest son then decided he loved his little brothers hair, so I asked Kate if I could book him next time my little boy is booked in and she has styled his hair lovely! He loves going to see Kate because she is so fun when cutting hair! So happy we got the recommendation!”

“Visited Rebecca's jewellers today to look for a gift for my mums 70th birthday. What a wonderful shop, staff were very friendly and helpful. You know sometimes when you feel a company goes that extra mile, I get the feeling it's like that all the time here. My purchase was beautifully gift wrapped, a complimentary jewellery cleaner kit was included and the final nice touch was a lovely bottle of bubbly, a gift for my mums birthday. Really lucky to have such great shops in our town.”

“What a lovely little place! We made Haul our first venue before heading into Liverpool. The bartender, Miles was more than helpful and had good knowledge of the beers on offer which were all served in excellent condition, he even suggested some other venues to add to our list after we'd got chatting. A lovely place to visit serving cask and craft beers, indoor and outdoor seating for when the weather is nice too. Miles you truly are a great addition to the team and made us both feel totally welcome, we will most definitely return when in the area.”

Coffi serves excellent coffee with a nice selection of beans to choose from—whether you're into espresso-based drinks or pour-overs, there's always something interesting to try. The bakery is also worth mentioning—I've heard some of the items come from Butterholic (Lunko), and they’re really good. The café is small and cozy, with a few seats upstairs. If you're bringing your laptop, there's a bar area you can use; the other tables are mostly for conversations. Wi-Fi is available, which is a plus. There’s also some outdoor seating in front of the café—great for enjoying a sunny day. The staff are super friendly, and overall, I can see this becoming one of my regular spots for a coffee fix!”
