“First time I've been in here unfortunately at a funeral never been in before but would recommend it as somewhere to go if you are a couple single or a person who wants to play pub games ie darts pool snooker or bowls wish the club was near me .If you are a real ale drinker try the Wainwrights probably the best I've ever had it was poured like a Guinness absolutely beautiful”

“Been here twice in recent months, although they were for my friends wakes, and I must say the location, staff and buffet provided is excellent, good bar prices with super friendly and kind staff, just a super place to say goodbye and celebrate a friends life. The War Memorial does a lot more than just wakes, all types of celebrations so hopefully I will be back soon for a wedding, christening or birthday party.”

I was a DJ for a party in the function room on 15 / 10/ 23.... lovely clean room with superb stage and high quality lighting.... the downstairs has great area for snooker and great TV,s for sports events..... for tour next event try this place its a hidden gem ... 5 stars . “Car Boot Sale every Sunday from May Best carboot around Start at 10am so high turnaround guaranteed as not all of us are early birds. Roughly people start packing around 12:30 so plenty of time to stroll around and grab a bargain. Well organised parking and friendly staff.”

“Could not believe just how friendly and welcoming everyone was to us, it really made us feel welcomed. Beer and drinks are cheap. Even I enjoyed the bingo. The quiz is loads of banter and could not believe the how good the prize MONEY was. This is a little gem of a club and its a lot safer environment than most pubs theses days.”
