“Tried Al’s Peri Chicken in Wigan and I’m seriously impressed. Their brisket burger is next level — juicy, tender, and full of flavour. You can tell they take pride in their food. And don’t even get me started on the Matilda cake – rich, perfectly moist, and just melts in your mouth. Easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend for anyone craving real quality food with a homemade touch. Will definitely be coming back!”

“Always good at McDonald's and even better with the new app for rewards to get free food. Staff went above and beyond. We spilled a coffee that we purchased and the staff were more than helpful. Cleaned this up for us and replaced the drink free of charge.”

“The best chicken satay skewers and prawn toasts we've ever had from a takeaway!!! Proper big chicken pieces with a really nice peanut sauce. The sweet and sour tofu is done really well and a great veggie option too! Lovely staff”

“I was astonished to see how many bad reviews are on here (maybe fake?). The curries we ordered were very nice, the meat was high quality and the sauces were extremely tasty. Couldn't have asked for better service and the order arrived earlier than expected. Will definitely be ordering again”

“First time EVER I give out a 5⭐️ review of a Mc Donald’s in England… I was driving around the area with my partner today when we thought about something to eat before continuing our journey home. The restaurant is outskirts of Wigan - we left the M6 to eat here! Located in Marus Bridge retail park. Very busy area (even today, on Boxing Day) so slew didn’t expect any good. First impression was that the restaurant was busy but SPOTLESS CLEAN! I mean it as I have comparisons with other restaurants. The floor, the benches and the tables were tidy. Staff was welcoming, even the cleaner guy wished a good appetite and also a lovely day… Food was HOT, fish burger and cheese burger was nice, well cooked and the sauces in the burgers were at the right place- not like other places all over the box/ wrap! Congratulations to all who are working there and made this great and surprising experience in.”

“Had a great experience at Ashton Fish Bar! The fish and chips were absolutely delicious – the batter was light and crispy, and the fish was fresh and flaky inside. Chips were golden and perfectly cooked too. I was genuinely impressed by the quality and freshness of the food. We noticed some of the lower reviews mentioning cold food or issues with delivery, but that definitely wasn’t our experience. We ordered in person and everything was piping hot and clearly just cooked. Sometimes delivery can vary, but for us the food was top-notch. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming – even gave us a sausage for our dog who was waiting in the car with us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Small things like that make a big difference and show they really care about their customers. Highly recommend stopping by in person if you want a proper, fresh fish and chips meal. We’ll definitely be back!”

“First time going here and wow! We ordered two batches of pasta thinking that they’d only be small… no they were huge!! I’ve even saved some for my lunch & tea tomorrow!! The man in there who served us also gave us some free fried chicken which were also delicious! Thank you so much will definitely come back when we can’t be bothered cooking for some of that pasta”

“Tonight I ordered a Spicy Lamb and black bean sauce, and I have to say it was perfection. The food was noteworthy, abundant and more importantly, tasteful. “This used to be my go to pizza place but then it went downhill (this isn't the end of the story!). However recently I gave it another go, whilst the pizza's don't have the herbs they used to have (and the rock salt) they have some absolutely lovely ingredients and taste amazing. 5* for Pizza, next time ill try either the kebabs or the burgers but i definitely recommend the pizza over anywhere in the town centre.”

“Delicious as always. Big order on new year's eve as we done our own Chinese buffet. Not one item missing. Food piping hot and just delicious. Recommend the salt and pepper chicken balls but I would suggest ordering a side of barbecue sauce. Plenty of left overs for another delicious meal on the 2nd January. I think if more people who were happy with their food actually found time to leave a review this place would be close to 5 stars!!”
