“Having changed to Sandymoor Vets 12 months ago its the best thing I ever did! The girls in reception are always friendly & helpful nothing is too much trouble. There is an excellent professional team of Vets who make everyone feel at ease. Alaska loves Becky and we always have a stress free visit. With other vets I always felt it was money orientated but not with Sandymoor. They are the best”

“Excellent private vets, when the PDSA are unable or unwilling to help. (That's even if you can get registered as a new member with PDSA) Medivet Anfield are amazing and doesn't cost an arm and a leg like most private veterinary practices. Quite the opposite, relatively cheap, comparatively and the level of care and professionalism provided is above and beyond what you would expect for a practice for the very reasonable prices they charge. I can't express how surprised I was at the level of quality of care provided for my pets. They are amazing and I would highly recommend them to any pet owner. Even over the donation and apparent charitable nature of the PDSA, I'd rather pay a little bit more and have my pets properly looked after by professionals who aren't rushing under pressure and having you wait for ages with sometimes uncertainty about the treatment you will receive. Don't get me wrong. I'm not slating the PDSA as they play a vital role for many people for different reasons. I'm just saying, in my humble opinion, if you have the choice, this vet is preferable for me 100% of the time! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Very friendly staff. With a large mixed bull breed I often find people scared of my dog but the staff here were so welcoming. We used hydrotherapy and the specialist was very patient. Will definitely be back.”

“Saw my dog as a same day emergency when he was unable to walk and in a lot of pain, my pets weren’t under their care at the time. “If I could do more than 5 stars I would do! I’ve used this Cattery now 2 times this year since getting my kitten Harlow earlier the same year. Maria is so friendly and helpful to answering any and all questions I had regarding my kitty’s stays in her amazing cat hotel. You can just tell from the first interactions you have with her that she will ensure your kitty has the best stay possible! The Cattery itself is kitted out with loads of play things and spaces for your cat to go to and mess with. It’s a very very clean and organised environment. I love it when I get sent pictures and videos of my Harlows time away. It really helps to calm your nerves and know that your kitty is safe and happy. I also love how Maria also does a disco at night with colourful disco lights and music for all that cats to enjoy. I could honestly go on and on about how amazing this place is! If you need a place for your kitten or cat to stay and are looking for somewhere I would defo recommend here! I can’t wait for Harlows next stay, you’re truly a remarkable and caring woman Maria!”
“Village Vets have been taking care of our cats for around fifteen years. We have always found all their vets to be professional, caring, honest (even when it’s news you don’t want to hear) and realistic. We have total faith in the care they provide and bring so close to our home, it is a peace of mind that is invaluable to us and our pets.”
“I can't believe I haven't written a review for SATH yet. I would give them a thousand stars if I could. Erin in the internal medicine team saved my dog's life after her being wrongly treated at Pets at Home. We see Erin every six months and she spends the time to understand Bella's (often complex) needs and never rushes us. She and all the staff are so friendly, responsive, professional and caring. They genuinely care about animals there. Animal welfare and teaching are their priorities, not ripping off owners or pushing particular brands. I really appreciate Erin's teaching style which isn't at all condescending to her students. And I really admire Erin and her team's pragmatic and personalised approach to individual animals. They aren't strictly tied to black and white numbers on a piece of paper and consider the pet's clinical symptoms as well. Not all animals will fit in a threshold that was conjured up by a human decades ago. I really admire professionals who know how to use discretion and initiative. We are so thankful to Erin and SATH that we are writing them into our wills. Every extra second I get with my dog is precious but I have to balance this with her wellbeing. Erin has given my dog additional years of good quality life and I am so thankful to her. I am so grateful to have a teaching hospital in the NW. If you can get your pet to Liverpool then don't hesitate.”
“Incredible staff and services provided here,I can't give them enough credit,I came in with my bearded dragon axl this morning for a sore toe,and Sam the receptionist was amazing with both him when i needed to nip out for a breather, and me when I had a bit of a wobble, she helped calm me down,I can't fault this place at all, would definitely recommend, they care about every single animal that comes through their doors, the vets are so gentle here and explain things thoroughly in language that is easily understood,10/10”
“Our Bichon Poppy has been seen by Rohan since she was a tiny puppy, and she’s now 10 years old. He’s such a caring person and an amazing vet, we feel lucky to have found him and always feel Poppy is in good hands with him. Poppy is quite nervous at the vets and it’s really helped that Rohan has always taken such care with her and tried to keep appointments as stress free as possible. As owners we have always found him so approachable and always willing to explain everything in simple terms, which is so reassuring when Poppy is ill.”

“Amazing vets! Our dog has been registered here for years and even though we live in North Wales now we still bring him here as they are such a great practice. Our dog actually loves going here! The staff are all so warm and friendly. We recently had to have a lump removed from our dog and the communication from the admin staff was second to none, any questions I had they found the correct information for me and always called me back very quickly with updates, as well as giving our dog lots of fuss. The practice manager called me within minutes of our insurance decision which again was so helpful during a stressful process not to be waiting around. We got test results back and our dog was booked for his operation within 3 days! The vet who saw and operated on our dog was warm, empathetic and very knowledgeable, she really put our mind at ease and did a fantastic job. All of the team have been so kind to me (and Dexter our dog) throughout. Calling to check in both before and after the surgery which I really appreciated. This is my first experience of having my dog treated for something big and worrying but Vets 4 Pets Hoole made the process so much better. Professional, hard working and really care about the animals, what more could you ask for in Vets practice. Thank you so much to all at Vets 4 Pets.”
“We boarded our cat with Cathy when we went on holiday May into June. We were greeted at the door with a warm welcome. The space where the cats are homed is well built, safe and purpose built. It was clean and tidy too. Cathy was lovely and really made us feel at ease leaving our Penny there. I wouldn't hesitate at using L9 Cattery again! Thank you Cathy”
“Once again the magic hands of Keith went above and beyond to get my boy Noah better. To just say thanks is not enough . Just an amazing vet with an amazing team behind him”
“Our dog was unwell and needed to visit the emergency vet after hours, and attend follow on appointments at the Adlington practice. The vets who cared for our very nervous dog were very patient, compassionate and professional. We were made to feel welcome by all staff we encountered, and have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Massive thanks.”
“Village vets Crosby are always there when needed. Amazing practice . ALL the staff are amazing. Christine the vet was exceptional as usual . We wouldn’t take our dogs anywhere else. She listened to our concerns and thoroughly checked our dogs before prescribing medication. She gave helpful advice regarding keeping our pets safe and stress free during fireworks season. Thank you Village Vets Crosby .”
