βJust picked up Ted, our westie, after his first stay at Ewloe. Heβs come back very happy and full of energy. I was a little apprehensive as he can be reactive and a little fussy who he lets deal with him but he obviously felt safe and relaxed as there were no issues during his stay. Thank you so much to everyone at Ewloe for looking after our little fella so well and understanding his personality.β
βReally happy with the service. Got appointment for a few days after I called. Staff very friendly especially the vet himself and offered lots of proper advice on puppy and training. They had an offer on for both puppy vaccinations, worm and flea treatment and kennel cough vaccine for Β£85.β
βBest vet experience weβve ever had, everyone is very patient and caring and make our anxious dog feel better about going to the vet. Also, when we needed to make a vet claim they were super fast at getting the information across to our insurance company which meant that we got the money back much quicker. Would recommend to anyone!β
βTook our cat to have her teeth cleaned. Everything was explained throughout. Our puppy has joined their puppy club and they are extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. They are always happy to help and explain in great detail. We take all our pets here. Wouldn't go anywhere else.β
βJake has been going to Paws and Claws for many years now and I wouldnβt hesitate to recommend them. All the staff are lovely and treat all the dogs as though they are their own. Jakes loves his runs round the enclosed paddock. Jake also goes to Helen for grooming and always comes back looking and smelling beautiful. Would highly recommend Paws and Claws for boarding, grooming and training courses with Christine and Heidi are brilliant too.β

βSo thankful this place was able to see a pigeon that turned up at our bird feeder injured; we supported it as best we could over the weekend trying to find someone with the skills as it was clear 'lil Shuffle needed medical attention. We're really hoping for a happy ending and rooting for the guy. Bless his little heart β€οΈβ
βGreat vets. Always helpful and friendly with plenty of advice on caring for our new puppy. I would highly recommend this practise. All the staff are lovely and you get the feeling that they genuinely care about us and our dog.β
βMy dog stayed here for one night last weekend. We were nervous about leaving him as he has never stayed over anywhere else before and he was abit anxious going in. But shortly after we received lots of photos of him on his walk in their enclosed field having a fab time! On pick up they said he was fine and didnβt cause any issues at all. They were very helpful with any questions you have prior to the arrival also. Would definitely recommend and already have booked him in again.β
βGreat vets, lovely split waiting room for dogs and cats/small animals and separate treatment rooms too. All the vets are friendly and helpful, care for all the animals in their care. Easy to make appointments and seldom waiting long to see a vetβ
βGreat for animal feed. Good service. Parking. Competitive priced. Local store and we should all support local stores, products and produce.β

βWe were nervous putting our cats in cattery as neither have been away from home and one is really nervous. We need not have worried. Diane let us know how they were both getting on and we loved the daily updates. Have booked again and would recommend. Thank you on behalf of Hamish and Theodoreβ
βWe booked the private field at Lartonβs for a big group of us and unfortunately there was a mix up with times, meaning we were almost all turned away without the dogs getting a chance to play. Luckily an excellent staff member ran around and rectified the situation for us so we still got our time in the private field, really going above and beyond our expectations. Weβre all so thankful for your help today and sorry we didnβt catch your name!β
βWe adopted a dog who was in the kennals here she was happy, clean and house trained even though she was found as a stray and been in kennels some time wonderful place. Im not one for leaving my dog in kennals when I go away but I would be happy to leave her here, reasonable prices too. Staff are friendly and love all the animals there like they are there own.β
βWe have been with White Cross Vets for 8 years, 1 year at West Derby and 7 years at St Helens. We have always had exceptional service from both branches. We canβt thank White Cross Vets enough for the incredible care and compassion they gave to our beautiful boy, Salem. We found out in February he sadly had cancer and we recently lost him flying over the rainbow bridge. A special thank you to Radka. There are no words big enough to express our gratitude. From the very beginning she was gentle, kind, and so loving with Salem. It was clear she genuinely cared about him, and her empathy and warmth brought us comfort during the most heartbreaking time. She treated him like he mattered, like he was more than just a pet and that meant everything to us. Losing Salem has left a huge hole in our hearts, but we will always remember the love and dignity he was given at the end. Thank you, Radka and everyone at White Cross Vets for being there for him and for us. Weβll never forget your kindness.β
βA great close knit team. Always there to help and point you in the right direction. The practice is well run and everything is explained to you on the planned course of treatment for your pet.β
βWe have been taking our dogs here for a few years. They are happy to go and we are happy with the way they are cared for. The fact we can take their own food means no upset tummies when we get them back. We also take their own bedding and toys. We get a small discount for 2 in a bed and for our own food. Their accommodation is big and heated when needed. Hayley and Mike and their staff are professional but very friendly. Our 5 dogs love them and we highly recommend them.β
βWhenever I take my dog to the clinic I am always welcomed with a smile and a greeting by name for both myself and my dog, normally by Darren the receptionist. He is always super chatty and friendly and makes you feel at ease whilst you wait for your appointment. The staff in general at the clinic are friendly and accommodating and everything is explained really well and they are always very thorough when treating my dog. I would recommend EyeVet to anyone looking for a specialist surgery.β
βUnfortunately i had to say goodnight to my dog yesterday. I had professional service from these and they went above and beyond highly recommendedβ
βUpon my visit to Pet's store Burscough Ringtail park we met a simply charming young lady who helped me put the app on my phone and very helpful with other enquiries to do with the vets serviceβ
βGreat place to exercise your dog. Always tidy and well presented and most importantly - secure. Unlike many dog parks, the field is well drained so even after heavy rain the field is usable without getting in a real messβ
βThe best vet practice ever.. Wern Vets have always been fantastic with our animals. We have had equine, poultry, dog and cat care from Wern Vets, and all have been exemplary. So professional, efficient, kind and caring to both our animals and us, way beyond what is expected... Every part of their care has always been above and beyond. We couldn't speak more highly of them. Zoe & Kyle.β
βI canβt thank all the vets here enough for the amazing job done on all my dogβs surgeries, and with the help throughout my dogs pregnancy and delivery. I travel 25 miles to come here and wouldnβt go anywhere else. If your dog deserves the best, this is the place to go.β
βAbsolutely brilliant practice all the staff are so caring and wonderful. Iβve only had the best experiences here with my little Hercules! They always went above and beyond for him would highly recommend this practice to anyone!β
βReally pleased I found this vet. My dog was treated with respect and I felt at ease and able to ask questions.β
βJust collected my 2 girls from Rose Tree. I was very nervous leaving them as not been into kennels before. I need not of worried, they've come home very happy look absolutely lovely . They had a bath smelt beautiful. The regular pictures posted on Facebook really reassured me . The outdoor paddocks are very secure. And lots of toys to play with. staff are really amazing and clearly love the animals like their own Thank you all for looking after Suzie & Mollie. Will defiantly use them again.β
βBrought my two dogs for vaccinations. As always Sean was brilliant with them. My 14 year old Collie Alfie is very nervous but Sean always puts him at ease and keeps him calm. He did Alfie's kennel cough vaccine without Alf getting stressed. Our young Goldendoodle Daisy enjoyed the fuss he made of her and didn't even notice the needle going in and took the kennel cough nose squirt like a champ. She's booked in to be spayed next week with Sean and I know she will be in safe hands. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. The receptionists are lovely - big mention to Claire who's been there forever and is brilliant.β
