Best dining experience in Richmond

“Visited for Sunday brunch today, 10/7/22 and it was fantastic. Staff were lovely and efficient and it’s a really nice venue. Not sure why it isn’t busier! The brunch was brilliant. I’d definitely recommend the mushroom marmite eclairs - they’re addictive! Will definitely return.”

“Lovely little gem in Putney! Beautifully cooked, genuine Spanish food is so hard to come by in London but this place nailed it. The waitress was super helpful at answering our questions and anything she couldn’t answer was directed to the owner who was cooking solo in the kitchen. Had a really nice chat with both of them when settling up the bill at closing. Will be back in the not too distant future to try the rest of the menu!”

“Found this place on one of delivery company's website and didn't regret it! The burger was really really nice and very filling (two meat patties) and the Sticky Korean Fried Chicken was pretty good too even though I am not a big fan of peas in rice (it tasted much better than it looks). Will definitely try again!”

“I visited Pizza Express in East Sheen recently, and overall, it was a solid dining experience. We started with the classic Dough Balls – always a winner – soft and warm, with plenty of garlic butter. For mains, I went with the American, which had a nice kick and crispy thin crust. The service was friendly and fairly quick. The Staff were attentive and child friendly. My kids enjoyed the Piccolo menu. I would surely go back – especially with their seasonal offers and kids eat free deals.”

“Stopped in early on a Saturday night for dinner as I’ve passed this restaurant multiple times and finally made it in to dine. The menu is straightforward and the food is absolutely delicious- pasta cooked to perfection and all the flavors complimenting each other. I went for the carbonara, good flavor and generous bits of bacon, and had olives to start which were marinated very nicely in herbs. Absolute gem of a place, will definitely be back!”

“New Yorker/New Jerseyan here- this place. is. it. The mafalde is absolutely delectable. It is the simplest meal made up of a handful of ingredients but oh my— the freshness?? unreal. The margherita pizza STUNNED with a classic cheesy, greasy (in a good way) finish, you really can’t ask for more. Even the vegan pizza was delicious, and a quick ricotta sub (i took olives off my half) made it the perfect meal. Excellent vibes, both indoor & outdoor, & excellent food. Cannot recommend it more! Will be back xx”

“Came in with my family for a last minute Sunday roast. Staff were all lovely and the roasts were even better. Very impressive portions and the gravy is hands down the best I have ever had with a roast, it had such a depth of flavour I am still thinking about it and would literally drink it on its own. Chef also seemed sweet, waved at us through the pass and sent out extra yorkies as we were the last table of the night. Will defo be back.”

“Ordered the Thai Salmon Curry, it was good. Before, I ordered several times the noodle, it wasn't as I expected. The staff was nice, and attentive. The ambiance was cozy with really good interior design, comfortable, and not too noisy. Toilets for customers are available (downstairs, and on the first floor, need to use the door code from the receipt).”

“Came here with 6 friends of mine post-Twickenham rugby, and the service and food were absolutely amazing. Our waiter was very welcoming and friendly, and the food was delivered quickly. Every one of us had a different dish (from pad thai, to spicy crispy duck, curries, calamari, pork ribs, and more) - every single one was tender and a perfect balance of flavours. I myself got the yellow yellow noodles dish with chicken thighs, and it reminded me a lot of the Chiang Mai/Khao Soi noodles I had when I was in Thailand myself. 5 stars. Highly recommend!”

I loved the pizza and pasta we shared - sorry no photos of the Ndjua pizza or sage / butter ravioli as we were too busy eating it! Would highly recommend- avoid the tourist traps and go here. Did I mention the Tiramisu?”

The ambience is beautiful and vibrant, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable meal - I went with my wife for Valentine’s Day and it did not disappoint. The service provided by the colleague was excellent, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommended to visit when you’re in Richmond.”
