“This is the best café/greasy spoon in the whole of south London. I say south London because I can’t comment on what cafés in other areas of London alike.. The owner is an amazing gentleman he is kind hospitable warm and welcoming. It is a comfortable service from start to end. He’s very attentive fantastic for families. Fantastic for builders fantastic for mums who just wanna have a cup of tea and a catch up. Or even if you’re going in for a hangover breakfast! This place is for everybody there are vegetarian halal and of course the traditional pork options. I myself eat halal food whilst my husband does not eat halal food and we both were able to have an exceptional meal. Cafés like this are the last of a dying breed this place is real community!”

“Went here for a birthday dinner and wasn't expecting a good time due to the current circumstances, but we was pleasantly surprised. We were seen promptly, and was greeted by staff who were positive and making us laugh constantly. The food came quite speedily, and was cooked to great standards, especially the ribs and the burger. The service and delivery was spot on. Will definitely recommend. Special shout-out to Shannen who was an amazing waiter.”

“I never needed to get a payday loan before, but I had a big emergency. The experience with Cash Cafe was much better than I expected, as there is often bad press about payday loans. I got approved and got the cash I need really quickly. The customer service guy was really nice and down to earth, so actually the whole thing was much better than I had expected.”

“Five out of five! Such a shame the branding looks so unappealing and the cheap looking logo/street sign make it look like an uninviting builders cafe. If they had a better branding and more premium looking street sign, I’m sure the place would attract more customers (they definitely deserve, as the service and food is truly AMAZING!).”

“The overall dining experience was truly delightful, and the food comes in very generous portions. I ordered the Lamb Cutlets, which is my preferred dish at every restaurant I visit, and the serving here was easily the best size I have ever encountered. The dish consisted of four substantial pieces, and the portion was definitely satisfying. I left the restaurant feeling completely full and content. I would highly recommend this establishment and plan to visit again soon. The staff was also friendly and exceptionally helpful, adding to the overall positive atmosphere.”

“Visited for the Japanese cheesecake initially and to introduce a friend to this place as they are more local than me. Loved the selection of hot/cold drinks. Sat in even shared a table with other visitors which I thought was so nice and brought back the good times where people actually converse! Carrot cake was divine it was moist and tasty. Was there so long sat to near closing time! The basement has a really nice ambience to it aswell I'd come back again.”

“Not been here before. Pleasantly surprised! It's actually a nice little place. Suited to the beer and cider lover, there's a huge selection. No food other than snacks. Unisex WC. If you're thinking of getting there by tram to Beddington Lane and the 463 bus, get off instead at Therapia Lane and there are 2 bus routes to choose from: the S4 and the 463. They're not from the same bus stop, so check your live bus arrivals app while on the tram to decide which one to go for.”

“Just went for the first time and it certainly won’t be my last. It’s an excellent menu, really great options. A good mix of hearty stuff, but nice lighter options too. Meat, fish and veggie options. The place is clean and beautiful, service was spot on and the food was fresh and really well cooked. Absolutely delicious! The prices are really good. Pint of Amstel is £5.50 which is rare these days. The portions were also generous. Can’t wait to go back!”

“lovely staff and good amount of seating area. i had the cinnamon roll more than once it was very nice! not everyone can perfect the roll but it suited my preference for it well. there’s an upstairs with a lighter environment great for doing work and a downstairs area which is a bit moodier but a nice place to read books just depending on your preference.”
