“We came across chickywicks by pure chance but immediately fell in love with its homley,loving, caring environment and staff. After our daughter not settling at her previous nursery it was a huge nerve racking step to try again with chickywicks. Our daughter settled immediately we could not believe how happy she went in after how stressful things had been previously. Not only did the chickywicks team make Ada feel completely secure and happy but they also made a very anxious mum feel exactly the same. Every member of staff go above and beyond to make sure any concern or worry was just immediately forgotten. I truly believe that every single one of the team feel passionately about meeting every child's individual needs. Every member of the team are always so friendly and welcoming they not only cared for Ada but they all knew her personality inside out, they always knew at drop off if Ada was having a wobble and made sure they were extra supportive which is exactly what Ada needed. Chickywicks really are just like one big family and although they gave Ada everything she needs to move on, as her parents we would have kept Ada at chickywicks forever! We were not ready for Adas chickywicks journey to end. So from the very bottom of our hearts thank you to all the team at Chickywicks. We will NEVER forget all you have done for Ada and you will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We cant actually put into words how much we would recommend this nursery.”

“A big thank you to the all team in totstars! We organised our daughter 4th birthday party and we had an amazing experience. Kids enjoyed the staying... there was music, lots of decorations and party food was good and fresh. Our daughter has amazing memories about her party and great time with her friend in Totstar.... “Sutherland has been a great nursery! Our son really enjoyed his time there, but he had to leave due to relocation. The highlight was the staff who were very kind and sweet. My son settled very well after a couple of weeks. He often wanted a morning cuddle from the staff with a smile on his face when I dropped him off in the morning. They did lots of fun activities, like making cards, costume party, celebration for national book day and sensory activities. The management team is very responsive. When I asked about the dietary plan and requested more meals with meat/fish, they acted in a few days to increase to 4 days/week with meat/fish. We also like their onsite kitchen so all the food could be prepared freshly for our son :) Their financial manager Julia is very friendly and helpful. She usually replies my email promptly with detailed answers. When my son needed to leave after giving notice, they made some adaptation for our schedule and waived some of the fee. That was very appreciated! We were a bit shocked by the 48hr quarantine policy regardless of the child's illness. That was challenging for us as two full-time working parents, but the manager said that policy will be reviewed in the future. Overall, our experience with Sutherland was great!”

My child struggled to settle in a previous nursery, but here he quickly felt comfortable and was happily staying for 5 hours. “Lovely setting away from the hustle and bustle of Streatham. Nice big garden and friendly staff who always make our baby boy feel welcome. The baby room is clean and full of kind staff - when ever we drop off or collect our child he is in the lap of a team member and given a lot of attention. He loves the rabbits in the garden and gets plenty of outside play. The chef cooks a variety of healthy meals and snacks and is also so friendly with the babies. Prices are affordable for the area without any compromise on quality - we highly recommend LC!”

“The most wonderful nursery! Our little boy has developed and learnt so much there. He absolutely loves going to nursery. They love and care for the children so well. “I couldn't imagine a better place for my son and I am so grateful to Joanna and her team of wonderful, kind carers. My son joined Rainbow House at 11 months old at a time when he only wanted to be with his mum and dad. We did a gradual settling in and thanks to JoJos's patience and through various engaging activities and a lot of one to one time they built trust and a great relationship with him. My son loves going to Rainbow House and talks about Jojo and his friends constantly! They do perform miracles - he eats his lunch even on days when he eats nothing at home. At nap time he goes to sleep on his own (since his first full day) even though he has never done this at home once! After two months his vocabulary exploded with words and phrases. They are constantly doing fun activities- playing in the garden, messy play, arts and crafts - each week has a different theme. I would highly recommend Rainbow House, they have exceeded all my expectations. It's a truly magical, happy place!”

“I am a support worker for children with additional needs. On Monday last week I attended with a young man who let’s just say left a big mess that most people would absolutely hate. I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me however the new manager who I’ve been told her name is Els was absolutely wonderful, helpful and put me at ease. It wasn’t a pleasant situation and she helped a lot. Very lovely young lady. I felt awful and she put me at ease and told me not to worry.”

“From the very first visit, I had that wonderful feeling that Sofia’s setting was the right place for my son. Sofia’s home is a caring, fun, and stimulating environment, full of adventures and learning. The activities Sofia does with the children are fantastic — trips out, learning how to care for each other, playing and exploring, arts and crafts, and helping Josiah get ready to start school in September. The list is endless! As Josiah has grown, I’ve seen how the activities have changed and developed, especially during the time when the younger children nap. These activities clearly help prepare the older ones for the next chapter of school life. Josiah has certainly been well prepared for school by Sofia — from being able to put on his shoes and coat and zip them up, to holding a pencil correctly and using scissors — all while still having plenty of time to play and have fun. Personally, I feel that being in a childminder’s setting, where Josiah has been able to grow and interact with both older and younger children over the past four years, has been invaluable. There has been so much peer learning — caring for younger friends and learning from older ones — something you don’t always get in a nursery setting where children are often separated by age. Sofia, this is a heartfelt thank you — from the anxious, nervous mum on day one to the now very proud mum of a confident, caring boy who is loving school. P.S. Josiah misses you lots! ❤️”
