“Had a really nice takeaway today beef in black bean was tender and full of favor, tried the Vietnamese chicken dumplings and they are my new favourite delicious and came before the 1hr delivery time.”
“Great Asian grocery store — clean, well-stocked, and fairly priced. Has everything from sauces to frozen goods to snacks. Friendly staff, no hassle. A go-to if you want authentic ingredients.”
“Popped in with my family earlier this evening. Portions were big, food wasnt greasy, great customer service. They do chinese chips, you know the chunky chips my kids love them. Overall a great experience we will be back again.”
“We were recommended to them by friends. Really pleasantly surprised. Friendly lady took our order and it was correct. Food was still hot when got it home twenty mins later. We will probably get delivery next time. The food was delicious and this is why...in our opinion...it was not sitting in lots of sauces (each dish) it was not soggy. It was not full of monosodium glutamate. So, food tasted good and we were thirsty all night! Noodles, beansprouts and meat was crispier and not covered in sauces. Food was good portion sizes and under £20 for four dishes. Finally, premises looked clean and they are rated well for cleanliness.”
“Really yummy food! Great selections that are made with good taste. Portion sizes are also really good and i would reccomend the chaat and paneer Makhani as well as the gulabi rani cocktail for those who drink! Prachi was super friendly and really helpful! I would recommend coming here as the atmosphere is also really nice as well the food and service - makes for a great dinner or lunch out!”
“I'm not a big fan of Chinese food, but it was late and I was so hungry, so we decided to try the hotel's restaurant. Unexpectedly, we loved everything we ordered. However, we wanted sea bass, which was already sold out, so we came back again after a few days. We weren't disappointed, and everything we ordered was nice.”
“The best chinese I ever tried... I always come here to order this special food. You can definitely say is made with passion. I think it's a couple who work here they are both super nice and kind people. Absolutely I recommend this food... We should order more from these small restaurants and less rubish Mc Donald. I'll miss this place as I'mmoving to a different area... my fav in Southfields!”
“Flavorful food at convenient location in central London. The mixed beef hot pot is of great value, with lots of meat slices, trips, and tendons ”
“This place is simply sublime! The two best dishes in my opinion are Beef with green pepper in black bean sauce and their Roast duck with fried rice. Stumbled across this tiny, almost hole in the wall-esque restaurant when a friend of mine from China recommended it. Reasonably priced and of good quantity. The grumpy looking owner is like a funny cartoon character. Although he's annoying and hard to understand, the food is well worth the hassle.”
“I am very fussy about chinese food, rarely leave reviews and no longer live in Hornchurch but this remains our favourite. The food is always delicious and service great. We made a big order for German guests recently and they loved it! Thank you! Highly recommended”
“I have ordered meals here several times, the food is delicious and the price is reasonable. The delivery time is also fast and the service attitude is good.”
“Good old polish food, it ain't cordon bleu... But it is cheap and well cooked. Shave your head and come on down”
“Excellent food - lots of variety and interesting choices. I had spicy fried 'fish' and then a sweet and sour tofu. Really good and very reasonably priced for London. Staff were lovely - we were served by a young lady who was super friendly and helpful. The chef popped out of the kitchen at one point too, to check we were enjoying it and to talk us through the satay sauce (which is so good we had to ask for extra!).”
“Great service from the guy, he was charming and kind. The sushi was incredible, even the veggie stuff packed a punch. Will be returning”
“The food is always lovely! Super friendly and helpful customer service and they always deliver within a good time frame”
“First time ordering from here and was well impressed by the food quality, authentic taste and everything tasted fresh. Everything was packed very well, restaurant was clean & customer service was great too. Will definitely return to try different items.”
“Noodle City is an absolute gem in Welling. I had the Curry Beef Rice (£8.50) and the Sweet and Sour Pork Rice (£7.80), and both were really good. The curry was rich and flavorful, and the sweet and sour pork had just the right balance of tanginess and sweetness. The dishes tasted authentic, and the portions were generous. The prices are very reasonable for what you get, and the owner is really friendly, which makes the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit!!”
“As you could see, I paid for portion, but had 1/2 of it .Very disappointed. Returned today to complain, but Bikram apologise and ofer me a free meal, it was delicious. Thank you very much.”
“Moved in across the road a couple of months ago best Chinese by far much butter than the one next door to it 100% recommended. They don't disappoint”
“Hands down the best food ever. Each time it gets better and better. The flavours and the spice and veggie options are the best around this crazy lands. This review was written mid dinner from the best takeaway around”
“I've been enjoying Mr. Chan's mouthwatering Chinese takeout for six months now. It's my go-to spot because the food is consistently delicious, with options like Sweet and Sour Chicken or Beef in black bean sauce always leaving me craving more. What's impressive is the generous portions, offering both great taste and value. The ingredients are fresh, flavors well-balanced, and the service is friendly and efficient. If you haven't tried Mr. Chan's, I highly recommend it for its affordability and culinary excellence. It's a gem for Chinese food enthusiasts!”
“I've been going to this Chinese for years, when I moved house I was so delighted to see they still delivered to my area. Outstanding food always!”
“It is best to order the food in person that way you would not get cold/stale food. I waited 25 mins after placing my order in person and the food was piping hot and tasty.”
“Very decent takeaway that is a minute walk from my house and I like it.”
“Delicious wholesome food, clean nice packaging and generous portions. Bit pricey but worth it. We ordered Japanese stir fried udon noodles pork (L), Japanese crispy dumpling (Gyoza) standard chicken & vegetable (7), Crispy Szechuan Aromatic Duck with Extra Pancakes (6) and extra spring onions & cucumbers. Food was perfect the noodles were not swimming in grease nice and dry. Dumplings were very crispy but soft at the same time. Crispy duck was also very delicious. The service was really quick and efficient. Will order again !!!”
“We are from york and we found this place so affordable price. 7 of us ate till we cant no more and the bill was £98. The naan were a bit dry.”
“Such delicious food. The beef in black bean sauce was so tender and my friend said he thinks it's the nicest one he's ever tasted. Great portions and lovely service, too.”
“Very nice Chinese Takeaway - meals ordered this week for 6 persons 2 nights this week - very happy with both. Good portions and nice food. Reasonable prices.”
“Honestly not sure what the other reviews here were on about, ordered through Deliveroo so didn't see the negative Google reviews but the ones on Deliveroo seemed good enough that we gave it a shot. Ordered the meal for 3 people which is listed as 39.50, but the app discounts brought it down to 30. The food portions were large and delicious. Individual reviews for each dish that came with the meal - Chow Mein - Hearty and flavorful with plenty of meat mixed in unlike a lot of other takeouts that have mostly veggies with the noodles Sweet and sour chicken - Not sickeningly sweet like some places but a well made sauce with batter fried coated chicken Beef in black sauce - was listed as spicy but was pleasantly savory with just a small kick, the beef itself was tender King prawn with mushrooms - Pretty good, nothing unique but nothing shabby, quite a few prawn pieces too Mixed Vegetables - Again, as good as you can get from a takeout Egg fried rice - Solid with a good amount of egg, not overly dry but not sloppy or greasy Crispy duck - tender but crispy not dry, the hoisin sauce was incredible and the pancakes and spring vegetables were a welcome addition Prawn crackers - can never have too many of these and they delivered, a massive bag full! All of this, and for 30 quid (obviously with the app discounts but 40 is still a solid deal for three people, this could feed four and still have leftovers) Can't vouch for other dishes on the menu obviously but this is what I had and my stomach was perfectly fine in the days after lmao, would order again for sure”
