“A wonderful cafe with extremely kind and friendly staff. This place is perfect for a breakfast chat with friends and the prices here are great. I very much recommend the halloumi baguette and the fresh orange juice!”
“We've booked upon cravings of some good authentic italian meal on Mother's day. Deapite it being a busy night, which was expected, the staff managed the rush perfectly and provided friendly and efficient service. We had tasty arancini and fried camembert. The gorgonzola gnocchi were mouthwatering. Premises had a welcoming atmosphere, and the bathroom was sparkly clean and well maintained. We very much enjoyed and look forward to coming again”
“Such a lovely place! I went in my bike and sat outside in the sunshine. The owner came outside and took my order the second I arrived and it was served up in no time! Absolutely delicious and for under a tenner! Highly recommend!”
“Great neighbourhood cafe. Cozy and friendly hence difficult to tear yourself away! Cornerstone Community Coffee shop is a friendly space where people can just find someone to talk to and get excellent coffee and light meals at affordable prices, or free in some circumstances. It's run by volunteers from charity - East 13 Christian Trust.”
“My sister and I had a lovely time at Aladin tonight for dinner. Jack was our server and he was polite and very friendly. The food was incredible- I have come here a few times before and I am always happy. Will definitely be back!”
“Authentic South Indian food, really good and very friendly. Had a variety of dosas (eg rava, ghee roast, podi), uttapam, mango lassi etc. Fresh gulab jamun without excess sugar was delicious. Will definitely go again!”
“Excellent food and coffee, with friendly staff and great service, would definitely recommend trying this little cafe out.”
“Absolutely fantastic experience at 1905. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the Greek origins and stories behind several dishes, which really added to the overall dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious. You can tell a lot of care goes into everything they do here. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for amazing food and warm, attentive service.”
“What an incredible find! If you're looking for genuine Italian food made with passion, this is the place. The homemade lasagna, straight from a family recipe, was absolute perfection—rich, flavourful, and clearly made with love. The wine list was superb, and our server's recommendation was the perfect pairing. We finished with a fantastic dessert that was the ideal end to the meal. The best part was seeing the owner in the kitchen, pouring his heart into the food. That passion is the secret ingredient. We're already planning our next visit!”
“This was an incredibly positive experience. I came here for lunch today with five friends, which we booked online. The waiters were very attentive, friendly and talked through the menu which was fresh, featuring mainly local or UK-sourced ingredients. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I loved the creative fusion and the clever multi-use of the space as both a local atelier and a restaurant. Definitely a five-star experience.”
“Excellent food and service. There are so many curry restaurants on Brick Lane - how do you choose? Well, luckily we chose this one. It’s fantastic. Nice and cool in the heatwave too. Great food, good value and excellent service especially Niaz. Really enjoyable.”
“The desserts at this place are amazing. The waffles and the cookie dough at this place beats all other places. Makes Cream look average. Honestly, presentation to taste this was 10/10 for me. Highly recommend this place.”
“Spontaneous visit for a takeaway pizza — looked like a very busy night for the staff who were apologetic, but they still served us with a smile. Would definitely return if I was in the area again”
“I had the 6-course menu for lunch, and everything I ate was delicious. I drank a glass of champagne and was pleasantly surprised to have received a cake for my birthday. The service was impeccable, and the setting was beautiful. I absolutely loved it.”
“Great authentic Bolivian dining experience. Salteñas pretty good, sopa de maní and other dishes very tasty”
“Authentic and truly delicious Indian food right here! The ambience is lovely, the staff are friendly, and the drinks are great — definitely try their cocktails. The special prawns and the different varieties of chicken tikka are a must-try; you’ll love them. They have loads of tasty curries and a good range of soft drinks too. We tried the mango lassi — it was superb! The kids really enjoyed the desserts, and the portion sizes for every dish were generous. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for genuine Indian flavours and a warm, welcoming atmosphere!”
“A chefs perspective of ottos it could not get more French when you walk in your transported to France. The owner is a French as they come! I thought the goats cheese soufflé was one of the best starters I’ve ever had. The scallops were also as good as it gets. The service on the starters wasn’t the best they got our starters mixed up the front of house manager took our order so that was his bad the younger waiter had to take the embarrassment for it!. I did find the front of house manager abir all the place pacing up and down the restaurant looking quite bored at times but he is good with customer with his old school approach and jokes and he’s certainly knows what he’s doing. It was quiet that night so maybe that was the mistake and the pacing up and down. As for the rack of lamb the theatre was great but the lamb was as good as roar in my opinio. I forgot how rare the French cook meat. That ruined it for me and in my opinion English peolple think that is to under cooked the worst part was the fat had not been rendered down and was very raw and tough also the whole lamb was under seasoned and it needed some sort of peas maybe as a purea?! It ruined rhe meal for me I said to my sister I’ve only cooked a rack of lamb a few times so these guys should get it bang on cooking it most nights but they messed it up big time! They should ask how you want it cooked because once it’s been carved that’s it you will have to flash it in a pan which will ruin it to cook it more! execute the cooking right b4 you bring the theatre out I would say I have never had pomme soufflés b4 I wanted to get them to see what the hype is about they were exactly how they should be looks wise a work of art crafted by a mater of his trade! They are extremely hard to make so hats of ro the chef who did them for me sadly as I expected rhe flavour was not great just like a crisp with no seasoning the salt had not even stuck to them again all about the theatre but lacking in seasoning. They would be better served with some sort of Hollandaise or aioli not the jus. The Apple tart was to die for and the chocolate pot and the after dinner truffles were not very impressive . It’s a great restaurant I would not return I would say it’s the sort of place most people would only go once I would not say it’s worth the price tag for normal people anyway. I know my food and how hospitality runs so I like to leave an honest chefs review of restaurants. I would like to say the younger guys in the team were very professional and knew what they were doing shame they have to make up mistakes of others but it was an experience I wanted to show my sister a higher class of food and service and it did deliver just a shame rhe lamb was not right. Whej it came to the bill I was not willing to pay the 12.5% tip I wanted to tip what I thought it was worth they wanted £30 service charge well I put 10£ for it and of course like all fancy places and most places in general in london they make you feel bad for it and it can create a scene my £10 was a fair tip they shpuid of been happy with considering the service they had given me and tbh this bugs me about these places I’m not from the 1% my bill is already very expensive why embarrass me in front of other guests and my sister not all guests have endless amounts of money and don’t take it personally if people cannot pay the service charge it’s optional some people are hard up and save for a meal like this. Thanks to ottos for the experience it’s something I will not forgot the French know how to eat drink and live that’s for sure there food brings joy all round the globe they are very passionate people when it comes to hospitality.”
“Delicious Tuscany restaurant in Central London that is worth the price. I had a fantastic time. Beautifully decorated inside with great service. Every dishes were so flavoursome.”
“Don‘t tell anyone about this place! It’s too much of a gem! Most iconic interior! Sweetest staff! Great breakfast!!!”
“5 minute walk from Victoria Station. It is in a quiet residential area with a lovely hot breakfast daily. The room price is high for a very small room BUT the breakfast is high quality and adds so much value. Bathrooms are sparkling clean. There is staff available to get ice or linen. The restaurant is only open for the breakfast but does offer alcoholic drinks at night. Beds were very comfortable but there is literally very little space to walk or stand in the room. The proprietor is independent and should be supported for not joining a hotel chain. I recommend The Windermere”
“I have been to this pub a few times.since the new manager took over (i think he has been managing for around 8 months now). They are a very friendly community based team. Today for example a lady in a wheel chair was outside and asked me.to let.thr staff kmow she needed help. Thr manager immediately let.me tell him even though he was really busy. Came out straight away and mads the lady feel special and supported. He even tried to find a comfy seat available for her and one that was not high. When I have been here before the manager was again very chatty and explained he wamts customers.tk feel special and valued. He certainly has achieved this. The ither staff also are friendly and always approachable. You will be served here quickly as they make customers a priority.the food is amazing too.”
“Great little spot for a few drinks and a tasty burger, love the spin the wheel. Anya your the best!”
“I first became of the Sea Breeze food at the Leyton Carnaval on 13th July. I was absolutely amazed with taste and flavour of the meal I had. On Friday 25th July I visited their establishment in Walthamstow with my brother. I We ordered oxtail, rice and peas with steamed cabbage. My brother got carried away, he ordered oxtail 3 boiled dumplings and steamed cabbage, his next choice was, Ackee.and saltfish 3 boiled dumplings plus one fried dumpling and a bottle of their homemade sorrel and ginger drink, he later told me the taste of the ginger was just right, while the fall-off the bone oxtail was delicious, and that he really enjoyed the Ackee and saltfish. I can attest that this establishment serve really tasty and delicious food, very flavourful. The Sea Breeze will definitely be my favourite place to eat even though I’ll be travelling from CannHall Road, E113NH. Thank you for such for the delicious food with perfect portions.”
“We attended a wedding on Saturday the 26th of July. The food was amazing. We had such a wonderful time. Beautiful couple, beautiful venue.”
“The only place opened for breakfast this early that we could find. Walked all the way from seven sisters for breakfast. Quaint and simple spot, amazingly cheap breakfast. Spent only 5.6 for 2 as we have small stomachs. Came with coffee or choice of tea, wish more breakfast places opens this early”
“Went for lunch with a colleague this afternoon. I ordered the chicken with salad. The chicken was so yummy and seasoned well. The salad was Lettuce, tomatoes and Cucumber but was refreshing. The service was friendly, attentive and swift I will surly return again. Thank you for a fabulous Friday lunch”
“The hotel is located near a station and in the middle of a large outdoor mall. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very friendly service. Hassan was so helpful and hospitable when we arrived and when we had questions. Ana was so kind and went above and beyond while assisting us during breakfast helping me with a gluten free option. The breakfast was a much larger spread then I expected. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We also had dinner one night at the restaurant in the hotel. I ordered the green curry (gf) and my husband the fish and chips. We were both pleased with our meals. We would definitely return to this Hyatt house. Great stay.”
“I first found Spaghetti House after playing football across the street in Tufnell Park a few years ago, by accident really. What I found with my Dad was an absolute gem of a restaurant. They have a good variety of options food-wise. I usually go for the Pizza, but the Pasta, Calzone and Meat dishes are all good options too. Prices for these meals usually vary between £8-15, so fantastic value. The beers and wine are reasonably priced too. Despite being part of a chain, I have to say that that is not the vibe you get at all in this restaurant. It is homely, owned (at least in part I believe?) by the staff and a hugely relaxing setting to eat in. The food is great, the prices are very good, but the best part of Spaghetti House is without question the service. You are always greeted with a smile, a handshake, and if you're lucky perhaps even a free shot at the end. The restaurant is just opposite the Tufnell Park Dome, which does quite a few gigs around the year. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend popping into the Spaghetti House for a fantastic meal!”
“Traditional Italian restaurant serving dishes as you would expect but also traditional street food from the region of Puglia. Service and staff were outstanding. The restaurant decor is stylish modern but a relaxing chiled out ambiance, especially in the evening when the lights are dim. There is 2 dinning areas the main area for parties of 4 or more then a side "hut" for parties of 2. This is better if you want an intimate less distracting meal with a friend or partner but can get cold in winter I assume due to the blankets that are available. The menus is made up of 4 main categories. Bites or starters which are small dishes. Shared plates you get a little more and order a few if you are not having a main dish. Bombetta - traditional Italian cured meats with cheese. Grills - main dishes. Everything on the menu was delicious without exception! The wine list is good but this can add up quickly to your total bill so have a drink before hand if you are feeling thirsty! All in all this is a hidden gem in the area and we'll worth a visit. I'll definitely come back to try other items on the menus as it all looked and tasted delicious!”
“Very delicious food with amazing quality and best service I have had in London I recommend Everyone for Delicious Ethiopian cuisine.”
