“The one oclock club is like the dream backgarden but of your best friends house so you don’t have to tidy up! Your children can run wild with no shoes, get wonderfully wet and grubby and generally have a bit of a 90s childhood experience. There a thousand different toys to play and experiment. I’ve got a 4 year old and a 1 year old and it suits them both perfectly. They can explore the space independently and it’s the perfect size for me to keep an eye on them without hovering over them. We love it!”

“We were served by Fabiene and Eric at the Richmond store on Saturday and it was possibly the best sales experience we’ve ever experienced, regardless of what we were purchasing. The store room itself was stunning and from the second we arrived we were looked after brilliantly by both Fabiane and Eric. Fabiane was attentive without ever being pushy, and knows so much about the products offered. We felt very comfortable to make our purchase with her support. She also offered a box of toys to keep our two young children entertained (game changer!) and we were served a hot drink within minutes of entering the store. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Raft Richmond to anyone, and infact already have!”

“Wedding venue We got married at the Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond on the 18th of October and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. We chose the winter wedding package, and everything from start to finish was beautifully organised. Laure was absolutely wonderful – calm, patient, and so responsive throughout the whole planning process. She explained everything clearly, gave fantastic advice, and it was lovely to have her there on the day with her calm, kind and reassuring manner. The venue looked stunning, with the room very professionally set up and the riverside location providing a beautiful backdrop. The food was exceptional – so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was and how smoothly the whole day ran. The fire pit, hot chocolate, and mulled wine were the perfect added touches for an autumn wedding. A huge thank you to Laure, Sherry, and the entire team at the Bingham Riverhouse for making our wedding day so special. Everything was flawless, and we’ll remember the day for years to come. “Nestled near the serene Kew Gardens, Café Macarong is a cozy gem that delivers a delightful mix of comfort food with a modern twist. The menu boasts an array of crowd-pleasers, including dupbap (a Korean rice bowl topped with flavorful ingredients), poke rice, and crispy fried chicken, all crafted with care and bursting with flavor. During our visit, we ordered the beef dupbap, salmon poke, and tuna poke, and each dish was a standout. The beef dupbap was hearty and satisfying, with tender beef layered over perfectly cooked rice, elevated by the café’s signature wasabi soybean sauce that added a subtle, savory kick. The salmon and tuna poke bowls were equally impressive, with fresh, vibrant ingredients harmonized by a spicy mayonnaise dressing that brought just the right amount of heat and creaminess. Every bite felt balanced and thoughtfully prepared, showcasing the kitchen’s knack for blending bold flavors with comfort. To top it all off, we sipped on their latte, which was surprisingly excellent—smooth, well-balanced, and the perfect complement to the meal. The inviting ambiance and friendly service only added to the experience, making Café Macarong a must-visit for anyone craving comforting yet elevated dishes near Kew Gardens. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!”

“the views from the cafe are beautiful and very peaceful! the prices were reasonable and there was plenty of seating so we were able to sit outside and take in the view in the lovely weather! the cake was delicious and service was fast. it is only a short walk from the nearby car park and is close to King Henry's Mound! will definitely be returning. :)”

“A decent pub, I liked it. Probably because of its proximity to the park, the pub was crowded on Sunday, with as many dogs as people. I was also with my dog, so the atmosphere was pleasant. My friends and I sat by the fireplace with a fire, and in the hall, there was a faint smell of smoke, and the dull crackling of logs in the fire could be heard. The Sunday roast was delicious. I liked the half chicken, though the potatoes weren't tasty. The cider is the best you can get, Aspal. A wonderful Sunday before Christmas. I recommend that you visit here too.”

“We’ve visit The Britannia several times over the past few years (every time we visited Richmond) and the experience was great every single time. On our most recent visit we tried the cheese soufflé, the fish and chip and the turbot. Every dish was delicious, fish on both mains was cooked to perfection, service was friendly and courteous. Wine list is great as well. Highly recommend for a great night out and exceptional food experience.”

“Booked a table for 8 people Thursday evening. Friendly greeting from 2 bar staff on arrival. Dealt efficiently with our drinks order. Shown to the table which was a square table - perfect for this size group. Our waiter was really patient, really cheerful and very helpful, double checking our order and checking we had drinks! Food was served efficiently, altogether and not too long a wait. Good food. Overall a good experience and would do it again. Thank you”

“It was a stupidly hot late June day and as we were traveling back from Hampton Court Palace, we met a local whose parents also happened to be staying at the same hotel (The Selwyn) as us. We were on the last leg of four straight weeks of international travel and safari…we were EXHAUSTED and wanted a good simple dinner super close to the hotel and The Red Cow was recommended to us. The bartender was awesome, but made my day when he noticed how hot and tired we looked and brought me a pint glass filled to the brim with ice, to go with my fruity cider I was trying. Divine! Small gesture, big impact. Enjoyed a delicious dinner, football match on the tv, and we’d stay here instead of The Selwyn next visit. Also, don’t recall the name of this drink he recommended, but it was perfect at the end of a long, hot day. Thank you!”

“The home of English Rugby, I still went in. The Sun Inn is a glorious Richmond pub with plenty of rugby pictures and trinkets. Good selection of both cask and keg beers on offer. Great service from the island bar courtesy of the wonderful staff. Love the famous picture of Fran Cotton just after his bath! Super pub!”

“I love this hairdressers, particularly Brenda! All the staff are wonderful, so friendly... the owner Nita always welcoming. I recently took my beautiful niece hair, Brenda is at pro dealing with mixed race and black hair! I think she grew bigger biceps after effortlessly dealing with my nieces hair. So happy I have this dedicated caring hair salon.”

“Long running family run professional barbers. Extremely friendly staff, with excellent barber skills, able to work with all hair types. Very cool place, with a graffiti ceiling you must see and hyper on trend. This should be the ONLY barber's you go to.”

“I enjoy the quick in-and-out no wait in line grab and go experience of Amazon Fresh. I have now been half a dozen times and their food is good value and delicious. Ribs, fries, pastries, veg and fruit all good value and quality. The invoice via Amazon web or mobile app also shows you how long you were in the store! NO MORE WAITING!!”

“A diamond in Richmond. It's an old house based hotel renieuwd. Loverly employees how makes everything possible and make you feel home. Good room, nice breakfast en lovely dinner in the restaurant as well as the cafeteria. Delicious lins soup. They still working on the hotel. They're making it nicer, if this is possible.”

“Great hotel, lovely clean room which felt homely and modern while having that lovely country pub vibe. Food area and bar was warm welcoming and cosy. Highly recommend and will definitely be saved for future visits. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't speak highly enough about the staff. Thanks”

“This is the happiest I've ever been at a hotel. Stayed for 6 nights. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Pillows were fantastic (two size options - yay!). The staff is so friendly. Easy check-in and check out. You are close to your neighbors but I didn't hear anyone. The window opened all the way for fresh air. There was also the Eur slot vent with the option to open or close, and an A/C (though I didn't try the A/C). The TV included a handful of channels and the option to login with Netflix. The blackout curtains worked really well (helpful for jet lag). Hot water was hot, water pressure was great. Waterfall and hand held showerheads. The location is walkable to two different train stations. Even in the middle of the night people were walking the streets regularly. It felt very safe. Local pubs had friendly vibes. Hotel bar had travelers in it regularly working or sipping on cocktails. Room came with cotton rounds (yay!), Qtips, shower cap (yay!), hair dryer, body wash, shampoo, conditioner from a good brand. Iron was available on request. Laundry services are a one-day turnaround, drop off morning, get it back at night. Sink basin closes should you need to hand wash. Complimentary tea and coffee in the room. The tea was particularly yummy. The coffee was Nepresso with a variety of pods. The fridge included snacks and alcohol for cost, prices listed. The room also has a safe. The whole hotel was very clean. To set expectations, the room is smaller compared to maybe what someone in the US would be used to (it's London after all). Hangers and one small drawer for your clothes. No full length mirror and no where to place anything in the shower (ie your razor). The shower's a bit tight. No lifts (again it's London) but they are happy to help you with your bags. This place just had a great vibe and getting a good night's sleep is such a privilege when traveling. Highly Recommend.”
