“Really, really lovely pizza in the evenings. Possibly the best in the Crystal Palace / Penge / Beckenham area? Don't let the front of the shop fool you, there is a lovely dining area in the back with a live grape vine covering the ceiling. With the peak summer evening heat and some Europop being played it was almost like being on the Mediterranean! Seems like they prefer people to book in advance, but they accepted our unannounced group of five, and we all seriously enjoyed our food. Definitely going back.”

“I've given this five star rating as I have been into various of the Leyland branches and the service has been ok but this Hammersmith branch stands out.. I was really pleased with the service I got recently when I visited. There was a staff member of Paul really got me out of a pickle on two fronts, first one was with my kitchen plumbing. After showing him some photos of my problem he was there giving constructive suggestions to resolve my problem. Of which when I got back home the tips and the products he said to use worked a treat!! And lastly he help me with the process of installing shelving in my home, I was quite nervous to do it myself but gave it a go with his recommendations and good product knowledge made me feel confident to do it myself. He not only didn't rush through the his guidance but showed great enthusiasm in his what he was doing. I will definitely be coming back here again and I'll be telling people I know to come back here.. especially if they need plumbing advice! Youra sincerely George.”

“Was planning on going to the popular cafe next door but the line was over 2 hours and so we decided to to give this place a go as the food looked good and it was busy but no queue. Very happy that we did as it was a lovely breakfast. The full English had everything you could want and was fresh. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was lovely too. Amazing bubble and squeak. Don’t bother waiting in the queue for next door. Come here!”

“I’ve tried Indian restaurants before in Istanbul and Cairo, but I can say that this has been the most delicious one so far. I would also like to mention that Mr. Maruf from the staff was very professional and warm-hearted. I hadn’t ordered the rice that complements the dish I chose, but he brought it as a complimentary side. I guess he didn’t want the harmony of the flavors to be disrupted. It was a very kind and thoughtful gesture. If I ever come this way again, I would love to return to both the hotel and the restaurant.”

The events manager was fantastically helpful, service was brilliant, and the selection of food and drink available was fab, we didn't scratch the surface of the equipment available (mics, lights, sound etc!) but what we used was great.
