“HIGHLY recommend this spot to swim. It's tucked away in a picturesque location, with a lovely dock with changing rooms and places to store your belongings. There are three loops of different lengths to choose from - perfect for those who are training to complete a specific distance. The staff are really friendly and helpful - they host different events to help test your skill and have 121 coaching on offer as well. Bright coloured caps and tow floats are required - they do have a supply of some as well. Lovely dining spots nearby for those wanting to make an occasion out of it - including outdoor bars on the water during the summer.”

“Amazing Stay! Definitely will be back again! Stayed for my partners birthday and the service was great, we were given a special treat in the room and a birthday card! The Ops Manager, Tibo, was exceptional! The care and thought put into the service provided will not be forgotten. From calling me prior to confirm my partners likes and interests, to welcoming us with a warm smile and asking about our long journey from Manchester. As well as giving us complimentary drinks at the bar! It was a very special stay! Thank you to the entire team who were so delightful! (We stayed as Accor Staff, free bonus break)”

“I stopped by Perky Blenders at Expressway and had a flat white, and it was fantastic! The coffee was smooth, well-balanced, and had a rich, velvety texture. The milk was perfectly steamed, complementing the espresso without overpowering it. The staff were friendly and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The space itself had a nice vibe—great for a quick coffee break or a casual sit-down. Definitely one of the best flat whites I’ve had in London! Will be coming back for more. Would highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for quality coffee.”

“Stayed here a few nights with husband and 2 small kids aged 3 and 6. Our room had 2 double beds and a shower room with shower gel and shampoo. Black out blinds and little fridge and kettle . The bed was clean and very cozy. We had booked last minute and was greeted by Harry on front desk. Who was very welcoming and smiling. It was the start of a wonderful first stay. The suna and steam room are great size and lovely . And the swimming pool was great and good temperature for the kids. Good transport links to the greenwhich o2. Our stay came with breakfast. Great options and fresh food. Lovely service especially form a young slim black boy with short hair, Indian lady and a girl from Hong Kong named Anisha. Was all lovely … no complaints. Chinese restaurant round the corner as we didn’t stay for dinner only had booked breakfast. Would return. Thank you!”

“The place is super popular for family with children. The place is reasonably spacious and suitable for picnic for the whole family and friends. On weekends, it's usually overcrowded, though well-maintained. Children are quite safe as they are enclosed by a fence with security guards at the entrance.”

“Had a lovely experience at Heroica Lounge and Bar, Custom House. We ordered pizza and salad, and both were absolutely delicious fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We sat on the upper deck of the bus, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas and had such a cozy, festive vibe. The music was spot on and really added to the atmosphere. Overall, a great place for good food, great music, and a unique setting. Would definitely visit again!”

“I'm so glad to have found this company and to have had the amazing José as my swimming instructor. After coming back from a short beach holiday in May, I decided I really wanted to take my swimming more seriously by investing in new lessons and started to look around for options. Luckily Love to Swim was one of the first groups I checked out and the vast offering of classes at The Crowne plaza hotel made it so I was spoilt for choice on the days or sessions I could choose.. I'm an improver swimmer, meaning I already had some water confidence, but after my first session with José, he was able to really help me develop this even further.. He has a fantastic and very caring method to the way he instructs, great and in depth knowledge and able to see and correct anything I'm overlooking in the different drills that we work through.. I had written off any chance of ever trying or wanting to do the breaststroke or butterfly, but with several lessons with José, a mixture of weekly classes and the fantastic weekend intensives, I've developed both of these strokes to a point where I'm now comfortable practicing them alone in my local swimming pool, as well as being able to tread water comfortably for a few minutes which I was also unable to do. I'm so grateful for the huge amounts of improvements in the span of a couple of months and looking forward to how much better I can become with more of the amazing swim classes. Thanks so much from a very happy and much improved swimmer.”

“This coffee shop is an exciting new addition to the area. The coffee has a lovely rounded flavour to it. The food offering is extensive and covers all tastes. Great to have a place that serves alcohol as well. I have found it a very relaxing place to spend time in, morning, noon and night. It’s good to see a new place providing employment to young people in the locality. I am sure the staff will become more efficient and dynamic as they settle in and become more experienced. It’s not easy the first couple of weeks on opening a new business. I am sure most customers are patient and understand there may bit of time spent preparing top notch food and coffee and other beverages. Will certainly make this my go to place for chilling out in Royal Wharf.”

“Great place to live for a few years. Amazing service and well built new builds. The area is very up and coming and is safe. We lived at Argo for nearly 3 years with no problems. Resident services put on events frequently to encourage engagement, if any issues they sort them quickly. Much easier to deal with rather than agents or property management companies. Very professional. Some say it's noisy but I had minimal noise issues on the south-east facing apartment, and the sound proofing insulation is very good (never heard neighbours). You can't hear the planes for city airport, but you can hear a bit of the tube (not loud enough to bother), but that comes with living a 30 second walk from the station. If you're thinking of moving in, its a great option for easy, hassle free living.”

“My visit to Tapa Tapa was a vibrant and flavorful experience that captured the essence of Spanish dining. The atmosphere was warm and lively, with rustic décor, cozy seating, and a welcoming energy that made it perfect for sharing food with friends. The food was excellent. The tapas selection offered a wide variety of dishes – from perfectly grilled prawns and crispy patatas bravas to rich chorizo and delicate croquetas. Each plate was thoughtfully prepared, full of authentic flavor, and ideal for sharing. The portions were generous enough to enjoy, yet small enough to encourage trying multiple dishes. The drinks complemented the food beautifully. A well‑curated wine list with Spanish reds and whites, alongside refreshing sangria and cocktails, added to the festive spirit of the evening. Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The staff explained the dishes with enthusiasm and made sure the table always felt looked after, without being intrusive. What made the visit special was the combination of authentic Spanish flavors, lively atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. Dining at Tapa Tapa felt less like a simple meal and more like a joyful celebration of sharing and community. Overall, Tapa Tapa is a must‑visit in London – a place where tapas culture comes alive, offering delicious food, great drinks, and a warm, convivial setting.”

“I placed an order at this restaurant by mistake, I thought it was a different restaurant in North London. They very kindly quickly and efficiently cancelled the order when I called after realising my mistake. The person did it without making me feel bad and was really nice about it. If I am in the area I will definitely come and have a pizza there.”
