“Went today for first time in about 10 years. I had chashu ramen which was very tasty, though not very big. I'd certainly come to have it again. Ivo was very efficient and warm. Everthing was clean and well presented.”

“I’ve been coming to Mori Sushi now for the best part of 2 years. Each time the food is so consistently delicious and of excellent quality. For example the Gyu Teriyaki Don is our go to, it’s fresh, tasty and highly nutritious we explored the menu and everything is just top notch. I also order the sides such as Takoyaki, this is probably the most amazing side I have ever had. It’s so clean, fresh, tasty and sits on our stomachs with satisfaction every time. The service and experience is another thing, we are always well treated, looked after and made to feel part of the mori sushi regulars. It’s our go to and we love it.”

“An authentic Italian experience from the moment you enter. The service was exceptional, attentive but never intrusive. This is a family owned and run restaurant and such a pleasant change from those formulaic chains. All our food was superb, particularly the fish dishes and great value. Pre-booking is advisable.”

“Expected it to be like any other wine/alcohol shop. Was pleasantly surprised. Stock levels are massive. They have huge selections of every spirits both small batch and mass produced. They do also take custom orders for parties or one off bottles you’d like. Staff were incredibly helpful offering detailed opinions and personal preferences. Very inclusive and welcoming. Openly admitted “the salesman in me says buy the more expensive one. The drinker in me says to buy the cheaper one as you’d enjoy it more” which I find amazing! Gave me tips and pointers for the future. They do also have a very varied collection of hot sauce and BBQ sauce which I’m in love with. New selection every 1-3 months depending on demand. By far my favourite shop for alcohol and a chat!!”

“The crab risotto and veal was an amazing combo! The veal dish is a perfectly delicate balance of different textures and flavours! The crab risotto was everything one is proud to write to home about (as they would say in old days), and in nowadays, yes it’s something they would post on here or insta for!”

“This is still one of the best places to go if you want a quick but delicious meal. They've recently renovated and added more indoor seating, so it can fit more people now. I'll always be a loyal customer! P.S. I'm not sure if they allow outside drinks, but I always bring coffee when I go because my partner and I don't usually drink soda when we eat out. Luckily, they didn't mind me bringing it in.”

“I’ve been coming here for near 40 years! The place recently celebrated their 46th birthday and suddenly made me feel old! An absolute institution. I was lucky to visit way back when it was just 1-2 small rooms and my parents treated to us to this incredible restaurant when we were younger and have continued to visit since! They had been coming since just after it opened and it was once fo the best Thai restaurants you could find! After years of uni and now living over seas it’s on the list every time I come home. Made even more special by some of the staff remembering me including the boss! A true sign of a spectacular restaurant where hospitality is at the heart of its success. Here is to another 40 years I hope!”

“This place never fails to deliver quality at all levels. Their food is stunning and very very reasonably priced. The sharing taco platter with two drinks was £30 and was plenty enough for 2 people. The service was rapid and attentive but not overbearing. The whole place is really vibrant and well decorated. This is by far my favourite place in Guildford.”

“Wow what an amazing find!! So pleased to come across this super tasty Italian cuisine! An authentic Italian eatery in the lovely surroundings of scenic Guildford. A cosy restaurant with lovely decor and those authentic Italian vibes! Wonderful service from our server who was helpful, efficient and very friendly. The food is phenomenal. Real Italian food! We enjoyed the Margherita pizza, mushroom and cheese arancini and the chocolate cannolis! Soooo tasty. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in Guildford looking for real genuine Italian food, with a homely feel. I am looking forward to coming back and trying some more food and the coffees.”

“Back in Woking visiting my friends after moving to the coast and went to Eastern Taste (my old local) WOW, what an improvement! The restaurant has been refurbished and the food was absolutely delicious, served on lovely hot new crockery. All 4 of us had something different and not a complaint/grumble about any of it.”

“This is such a wonderful little food place, but the staff here don't make it feel like another chain restaurant, they are friendly and charming to customers and work like a well oiled machine to get people served and keep the food topped up. “The Little Waitrose at Shell Horsley is a genuinely convenient stop. It's more than just a petrol station shop; it's a well-stocked mini-supermarket. I appreciate the quality of their ready meals and fresh produce, perfect for grabbing a quick, decent dinner. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, even during busy periods. While it's a smaller selection, they manage to pack in a good variety of Waitrose essentials. It's ideal for those last-minute bits, or when you need to top up on quality groceries without a full supermarket trip. The addition of the coffee machine is a nice touch too, for a quick pick me up. Overall a good experiance for a petrol station based shop.”

“We were staying at The Harbour Hotel as an anniversary treat and so we decided to have a meal here. There was a great atmosphere on arrival, with the experience from start to finish being amazing. I couldn't fault the service at all and the food was absolutely amazing. Our server Finn was also great. I certainly would highly recommended The Long Bar & Grill.”

“Ordered last night for delivery through Deliveroo, delivery was fast and no problems. Delivery guy was nice and told me they had upgraded both my pizza from 12” to 15”! “Security guard went over his work remit by going out of his way to help me,excellent customer support from him. A manager I didn't take her name but she too gave me fabulous customer support. The only issue I had at the till I was told my Nectar card was blocked so I have to call Sainsbury's to fix it & add 100 points from shopping apparently I've got to do within 30 days. All this means I won't call,not convenient”

“Chennai Dosa is one of the best place place if you like South Indian food. Food is very authentic and staff is very polite and respectful. If you are planing to go there ghee roast is on of their best Dosa. Very recommend.”

“I visited the Guildford Parkway Beefeater restaurant on Wednesday 19th November. I was not particularly hungry so a meal from the children's menu sufficed. This was steak chips, peas and mini corn on the cob. The food was delicious and very promptly served. K-C was my waitress and was extremely professional and polite. That said, this applied to all the staff and the atmosphere was very relaxing. In particular I consider that the meal was excellent value for money at £6-99. As an example, I recently paid £9+ for a McDonald's meal. Food was good, and service prompt,  BUT, as with all such restaurants, I had to eat with my fingers from a paper bag. At the Beefeater, I have a proper plate and cutlery, and service was just as quick as at McDonald's. Also, yesterday, before dining at the Beefeater, I visited my local Costa. Staff are very pleasant, however I paid £12+ for coffee, cheese cake and a toasted sandwich. In other words, almost twice the cost of a "real" Beefeater meal! Plus, again I had to eat with my fingers! So, overall, many thanks and I look forward to my next meal at Guildford Parkway.  Allan Woolston.”
