“I had the most amazing stay here for my birthday. The hotel was unique with stunning decor - highly unusual but brilliant. The hotel had made every effort to recognise the occasion - the room was aptly decorated with balloons and a handwritten message on the mirror. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice - a lovely buffet selection. My dietary needs were catered for (gluten/dairy free). The hotel is situated in Islington - a very short walk to the canal. A morning walk along the canal to Canary Wharf and back along the Thames Path was the best start to the day! There are some beautiful spots along the canal to stop for a coffee or bite to eat - these are within a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel - it made a really nice change to stay somewhere a little different/unique.”

“We had an excellent weekend stay at the Canopy. On arrival we received a very friendly, welcoming and efficient check-in service from Connor. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Due to a train delay, we arrived much later than planned, so ate at the hotel the first night. The food was delicious and, again, the service friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good. Not a huge selection, but still enough to choose from, and good quality. Our only issue was that the pillows in our room were too plump for our liking, but the staff promptly changed them for us. Throughout our stay, the staff were excellent. We would certainly stay here again.”

“Location is super convenient. Jay was super helpful! He made our stay very welcoming. There is a supermarket and a Tesco near which makes it easy if you may want a late night snack or simply forgot to pack. The restaurants in the area are really nice. Mezimso food was amazing. This was an amazing place. Again Jay, shout out to you with your incredible service. Will come back !!”

“A very clean and accommodating hotel. Prime location. Absolutely centrally located to many of the city's attractions. Within walking distance or in some cases a 30 minute taxi ride or less to very popular areas of the city. The bar at Primo is well maintained, modern and impeccably clean. The bartender there the night we were there was a true professional. His name was Denis, and so far on our trip, he has been our favorite bartender with no close second. Drinks were spot on. He has a great personality and a great sense of humor. Bravo Park Plaza, you have gem on your hands in Denis.”

“We were very satisfied with our stay at Motel One Tower Hill. The hotel is modern, quiet, and perfectly located to explore London. The only thing that might be a matter of personal preference is that the windows cannot be opened. Apart from that, everything was excellent. We definitely recommend it!”

“We enjoyed the experience at OXO for my husband's birthday. I looked for numerous rooftop places that would also cater to a 2 year old. Luckily OXO was one of the only ones that seemed to have a Kids menu. Our server Ali made the experience all the more memorable. He was friendly and available when we needed anything for my son. The food was wonderful, and the cocktails were also worth it. On a balmy day in London it was really worth the visit. Loved the meal we ordered. Limited options for vegetarians but for fish lovers and meat lovers food was great, however it is pricey.”

“It is customary to post, post departure but I must give credit to all staff and venue. The amenities are good and staff well attentive. The Xmas theme and little treats are more than welcoming and a pleasant surprise. The service and food are amazing. This was a great idea and thank you to the entire team. Will definitely recommend and return.”

“We LOVED using these boats in London. This was our preferred mode of transportation. The lines moved pretty quickly, it just depends on how early you make it there. And how late in the day it is (sometimes they would be behind schedule and have to leave early) The only negative was that the experience varied every time. Sometimes there would be a tour, and sometimes not. Overall would recommend, though. A great way to see the city.”

“The DoubleTree by Hilton is conveniently located near Prince Regent and Pontoon Dock DLR stations, as well as London City Airport. Situated right next to the London Excel and overlooking the Gallions Point Marina, it offers an ideal setting for both leisure and business visitors. My family and I visited for a Christmas get-together meal, and our experience was excellent from the start. The entrance is welcoming, with cheerful and attentive staff ready to assist. Opposite the reception is a mini-store stocked with essential goods, though prices are on the higher side. There are inviting breakout areas for guests who wish to work or have a quiet chat, set apart from the bar and restaurant. These spaces are conveniently located near the spotless, well-maintained restrooms. The spacious bar offers a wide selection of drinks, although port and sherry options were limited during our visit. Depending on the events at the Excel, the atmosphere remains pleasantly peaceful, making conversation easy. Comfortable and plentiful seating adds to the relaxed ambience. The servers were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided excellent hospitality, with a special mention for Lucas. He took the time to clarify menu choices, which was a thoughtful touch. Guests can choose from both bar and restaurant menus, with prices more reasonable than many other London restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the Cajun wings, and was delighted to find that, in addition to sorbet for guests with dietary restrictions, a delicious passion fruit tart was available. Portion sizes for the main courses were generous and satisfying. Even as crowds from the Excel arrived later, the lively atmosphere enhanced the experience without becoming overwhelming. For sports enthusiasts, there is also a large TV for viewing. Overall, I highly recommend visiting for drinks or a meal—it's a standout choice compared to other venues in the area.”

“Nice and cosy rooms with modern decor. Good price for this area of London. I have stayed at the Andaz hotel which is close which cost over double the price of this room (room 15) at Fraser Residences but Fraser Residences was a much better stay. Slightly noisy from the street, but that is to be expected in central London. Room is open plan.”

“My friend and I had a wonderful time here for dinner and a few cocktails, we would recommend the pornstar martini or a margarita! The service from both Ciaran and Virenti was amazing credit to them for making our evening extra special!”

“Went here for coffee and breakfast. The coffee was delicious and made extremely fast. Service was also really quick and friendly. Had the plant based bap with an egg added which was also made rapidly and cooked to perfection- the chutney in it was really good! The decor was cool too. They do a nice scheme where you can pay forward a free hot drink to a customer and other customers can help themselves. A nice idea. Overall really well done to this place, they’ve got a good thing going and I’ll certainly be back for more”

“The service was very friendly and knowledgable. The food was interesting and flavourful. The setting is beautiful especially after dark with all the lights. There is a serious wine selection though we ended up having cocktails, which had top quality ingredients, great flavour combinations and well balanced. Thank you! “We had a very enjoyable evening in the bar area, having drinks and a light bite. The food was excellent, and the service from Emily was great, friendly, attentive and very efficient. The atmosphere was lively the evening we were there with live music and a launch of the festive menu. The Inn at Maybury is always a good choice for drinks or dinner. We will be back!”

“We have been on a quest to visit all of the oldest pubs in London. This was such a spectacular place! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Greene Kings have great food at every pub. The place was clean, charming, and FULL of historical information or photos. The view was gorgeous and the history behind the pub was so interesting. This is at the top of our list of favorite pubs!”

“My wife and I loved our Sunday night stay at the Mitre Hotel. What did we like? Wonderful situation on the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary and generous glass of wine on arrival. Large, comfortable and quiet room - we were upgraded to The Royal Mews (many thanks for that) - with complimentary coffee, biscuits etc. Excellent breakfast buffet taken in the lovely round room with wonderful views of the Thames. Settle in Sunday is a really great deal. Would we stay at The Mitre again? Like a shot!”

“I don’t regularly post google reviews but I was so impressed by the weekend I’ve just spent with a group of friends at Nutfield that I felt compelled to tell others. It’s a 4 star hotel but the service is most definitely 5 stars. The friendliest and most helpful staff I can remember coming across at a hotel. We were quite a demanding bunch but nothing was too much trouble.”

“Visited the Ramblers Rest pub for Father’s Day and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome. It’s also a dog-friendly pub, which was a huge plus as we brought our dog along and she was made to feel just as welcome! For food, I had the king prawns to start, the beef roast for my main, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert, every single dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!”

“Week 2: the booze tube ,around our world on a freedom pass: Measures are 25ml or 50ml so English Isobella was a great host she made us very welcome ,this pub is closer to the equator than our home in Finchley so we had to take off our coats as it was hot. A circus theme to the place ,we tried to dogem but got caught and had to pay the bill Isobella chose our next station on the random app,hello Wimbledon park !”

“Lovely pub not too far from Vauxhall and Pimlico station. Has a great selection of beers, wine and spirits. They also serve food as well as light snacks. There is a dart board and pool table as well as several TVs to watch sports. The manager of the pub that served us was friendly and welcoming. Definitely plan another visit soon”

“Amazing food, perfect service and nice overall atmosphere. The only thing is that ratatouille lacked tomato sauce but it didn’t spoil anything. Caesar salad with shrimps was one of the best in my life. Will be back and recommend 100% to everyone!”
