“Had a lovely Christmas dinner on Christmas Day , the food was good and loads of meat, bit stingy on the veg but non the less it was good food. HUGE Yorkshire pud. The staff, as always , were amazing so welcoming and friendly , the beer cold and a good selection too. Our stay was only marred by a loud, drunk, loads of money , family who really didn’t give a hoot about anyone but themselves , not The Crowns fault but did mar the event for the other patrons there!, hence 4 stars for atmosphere . We love this venue and will be back many times.”

“Visited on a Thursday for Irish music night. The pub is lit with candles. It’s cosy and atmospheric. Music started around 9.30pm and it was traditional Irish music. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the toilets were clean. Outside garden available if needed.”

“Booked a table for an hour. Still under lockdown rules but felt safe outside and despite being essentially a car park in an industrial site it was relaxing a ok surroundings. Maybe the excellent microbrew helped. Tried several and based on the result I bough a box more. Really enjoyed the cold spark.”

“Fabulous first visit to the monthly brunch sessions on 1st Saturday of each month. Absolutely cracking. A great range on the brunch menu without being overwhelming, good choices and lovely selection of sides/extras. Enjoyed a beautifully presented plate of food that was amazing value for money! Also, try a brunch cocktail, or enjoy with juice or a cuppa. Or a pint! But do go and try. Staff super friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings, a warm hubbub of chat, a really chilled atmosphere for a good feed after a big night out, a catch up with friends/family/neighbours or colleagues. A local for more than just locals. Dog friendly, family friendly. Just really friendly. Brilliant!!”

“My family and I went to the crossing and had the best experience. The food was great and the drinks too! Special mention to our great waiter Harry - attentive with a fun touch to the service. A great waiter really brings the meal to another level and Harry performed!”

“Cozy little pub tucked away in a narrow alley, which gives it a lot of character. Depending on the time of day, getting a seat can be difficult, but there are plenty of spots to stand outside, which works well when the weather is decent. A nice place to stop in if you want something relaxed and a bit hidden from the main streets.”

“I took my grandchildren to the pumpkin carving evening. They made a real effort, atmosphere was lovely, lots to do and children loved it. Would definately recommend.”

“Great visit. We were made welcome and the arrangement for our friend with mobility issues had all been taken care of. Food arrived fairly quickly and was tasty (we had the mexican options). The gig was fantastic. Would come again.”

“We had a big group in for a family lunch in the heated garden space and everything was perfect. Kids could free flow to the play area, food came out quickly and was delicious, staff were all nailing it. And the place looked beautiful - the attention to detail for the Christmas decorations was impressive.”

“I love coming here especially if i have a spare 15 mins for breakfast. I tend to go for eggs benedict or one of the varieties and the presentation is far better than anything one will find in most of central London.”

“My girlfriend and I decided to get tattoos while on vacation. Stopped in the Crystal Palace location and was greeted immediately. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Our Artists Eddy did a great job. He listened to what we wanted and when we came back to our appointment had great options for us to choose from. The design for my tattoo had much more detail than the initial draft. When he began to run over the time he quoted he told me I would not be charged extra. As time continued to pass he did not rush. Towards the end he even added in a few more small details and finishing touches to make it better. Through everything he was nice and very easy to talk to. His attention to detail and dedication to his art and clients is top notch. In the end I got much more than I paid for and left with amazing art. Definitely would recommend this shop if you are in the area and looking for great work in a comfortable atmosphere.”

“This is such a wonderful, traditional pub. I had lunch with my brother & nephew last Wednesday, for my birthday. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered and were impressed by the quality and quantity, at a very reasonable price. Thank you also to Curtis for the excellent service. “Cool basement spot with great selection of craft beers, including some proprietary stuff. Seems they take darts very seriously. Also, I'm not from London but I found it to be in kind of a hidden spot down an alleyway. Loved it!”

“The only place opened for breakfast this early that we could find. Walked all the way from seven sisters for breakfast. Quaint and simple spot, amazingly cheap breakfast. Spent only 5.6 for 2 as we have small stomachs. Came with coffee or choice of tea, wish more breakfast places opens this early”

“Exceptional Authentic Thai Cuisine! I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Hut Pub, and I must say, it was an unforgettable culinary experience. The menu offered a variety of traditional Thai dishes, each prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavour. The highlight for me was the prawn massaman Curry and sticky rice. Would Highly recommend!”

“We came here to watch the Nations League final and the place is really lovely! The terrace at the back is a real bonus, and the staff were friendly even under the pressure of service (just two waitresses serving the whole pub! I’m a GM myself and honestly, I’ve rarely seen anything like it). The place is also pet-friendly, which is much appreciated, and the food is very good! If you live in the area, I 100% recommend it.”

“If you're looking for a Sunday roast in Central London, we found this hidden little gem today. The Duke of York, situated just off Edgware Road, serves up outstanding rotisserie chicken and delicious Hirrisa cauliflower. The Guinness was smooth, the Bloody Marys had perfect spice levels, and the Passing Giants Sauvignon Blanc was a fantastic drop. We'll definitely be back!"”

Charlie sets the example of outstanding customer service. Nothing is ever to much. If he can do anything from entertaining your children to watering your pooch. If it’s bringing a drink to your table or a full on three course meal, nothing is ever to much!! Keep up the good work!!!”

“Great place to get your nails done. The staff are really friendly and professional and mad my short nails look fantastic. I had the Hunky Dory Shellac gel manicure done and I'm very pleased with the result. There's lots of colours to choose from. You can have a drink as you have your nails done and the lattes are really nice. This is the second time I've been here and plan to come back in the future. I'd recommend this place to my friends.”

“I really like this place. The pub and restaurant are cozy and they had fires going for the cold weather. I think it's the best hotel in the area and very reasonably priced. The food is delicious with a lot of options and they currently have the festive menu going on. It's a short walk to downtown old Harlow. Only nag would be the internet reliability and speed, but I'm told they're working on fixing it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Don't forget to ask for the CAMRA discount if you're a member and drinking cask ale!”

“Best pub about for Miles. Lines and Glass's are crystal Clean. It's a Locals Pub but one which is very Welcoming. Always has 4 Ales on and 2-3 Guest Ales. Staff are Polite and Pub is kept spotless. Land lady is Brilliant reason Pub is Very Popular.”
