“Room 407 – An Amazing Stay! Our stay in Room 407 was absolutely wonderful! The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, making it easy to unwind after a long day. A special shout-out to SABINA and DONNA for providing truly exceptional service. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and cared for throughout our stay — friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. Their professionalism and warmth made a huge difference and turned a great stay into an unforgettable one. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and comfort.”
“First time at this particular PI and the difference between here and the one up the road (London Twickenham Stadium) are poles apart. There is parking but we turned up around 21:00 and I was lucky to find a spot; the car park does serve the Beefeater next door. The front door is automatic which is handy when you have a lot of bags but the inner doors are manual. We were greeted by a friendly, very helpful and enthusiastic member of staff. Our room was on the first floor (no lift) at the front of the building and although there was a busy main road and a bus stop outside it wasn’t that noisy. The room and bathroom seem bigger and as usual the bed is very comfortable. The wardrobe/ shelving unit is lovely and big, easily fits 4 days of our clothes and four big shelves for all your other bits. In this PI the rooms have A/C and having bus stops outside is an added bonus. Only negative is that the toilets don’t flush very well.”
“Honestly, I had such an amazing experience with Becca, during my visit to Nuffield Twickenham. She was super friendly and easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable right away. She gave me a full and thorough tour of the gym and explained everything without making me feel overwhelmed or awkward. You can tell she actually cares and loves what she does. She was so encouraging and hyped me up the whole time, which made me even more excited to get started. The gym itself is clean and well organised. I left feeling very motivated and confident to get started xx”
“Great local amenity with a 33.3 meter indoor pool (for those with confused fitness trackers) a smaller outdoor pool and teaching pool for kids, it is now kept clean and well maintained considering it is a public pool. The swimming changing facilities have been upgraded, and they offer great showers in a clean area. While the gym is a bit tired, there are plans for renovations and upgrades. The reception staff are friendly and have a great sense of humour, especially considering some of the flak they get from a handful of grumpy visitors. Parking is pricey, so public transport is the best way to go. Simple booking system, so book in advance or phone if you want to be sure to get a swim. Limited spaces which makes it much easier for lane swimming. 250 capacity for swim and stay sessions in outdoor pool, so check weather and book on sunny day.”
“Radnor Gardens was created from the grounds of two mansions which were damaged in World War 2 and subsequently demolished. Some relics from these grounds can still be seen and are explained on an information board. There is also a very pleasant riverside walk under a row of weeping willows.”
“A fantastic place for you and your little one to get pool confidence. We have been coming here for over three years now, and my little ones confidence has grown so much, a total water baby! Lessons are fun and interactive with teachers making 1on1 time even in really busy classes. The facilities and changing rooms are always clean and the staff are so lovely and helpful. There is a great café with good snacks to chill out and feed after the lesson, and great to socialise with other mums with little ones the same age.”
“I took my two kids, ages 8 and 12, to today's show in Southampton, Mayflower Park. We all enjoyed it very much.”
“Great stay, lovely staff. Clean modern room. Nice pool. Breakfast not too busy even at peak time and hot fresh food. Location not particularly close to much public transport but that won’t be an issue for everyone”
“The coaches at Sports Generation are excellent. My son did not enjoy swimming at all before we joined Sports Generation and the coaches there quickly managed to get him really excited about swimming lessons. We went from my son dreading swimming lessons to him actually really looking forward to them. They have taught him excellent skills and technique as well - all in a fun way.”
“All the guys at the desk are super helpful. The facilities are excellent, I used to play badminton there when it had the Whitton "Dome" visible from the A316, but now it's been brought bang up to date with the new school buildings. The only slight downside is that a badminton training there is more expensive than Hampton with the danger amount of time and the same coach”
“Alison is a good teacher and has patient. It's not easy to teach a 60 year old lady to swim who is afraid of water. Am enjoying attending swimming lessons. Hope will be an expert soon.”
“These holiday camps are great for children aged 5-12, the student coaches are fantastic too!”
“This is such a lovely cafe inside the swimming baths. You can grab a drink from an outside area where you just ring a bell and someone very friendly will come and serve you or if you enter the leisure centre you can go inside the cafe... this also has a nice green outdoor area with family benches if you would like to enjoy some nice weather in summer. The food is really nice! They have loads of variety of food and drink. Very suitable for children, with a children menu to. There is some tv screens that usually has something playing if there is an event e.g Wimbledon. They are really nice and will put on a childs programme if you come in with young children. They have a book table with a variety of books for adults and children to read.”
“My home gym of several years with improvements made under the new management with increased investment. Friendly staff and instructors with an all-around nice gym community. Huge thank you to Peter and Athony who went above and beyond to help me during my visit today after an incident on one of the machines. I was really worried, but they were really calm and resolved the matter. I truly appreciate the help.”
“The gym staff here are outstanding. I would like to single out Ula in particular who, after I injured my knee, put me on a special programme. Weeks later I attended a physio at the hospital who said I was on the road to recovery. Full marks to her. Pity about the state of the pool.”
“A nice communal venue. Gym and pool are of reasonable upkeep. My main concerns are the changing room floors get very dirty and slippery at times. I can recommend the café. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food and drink are reasonably priced too. Well worth just a social visit.”
