“I thought I’d share my thoughts following my third (and longest) stay at Latitude. I got to know about the apartment block through friends who recognise that I needed a longer-term solution for staying in London for my work. My main home is in Spain. However I’m frequently in London so I decided that I would take a longer term lease. The apartment is perfect for me, from its positioning, (close enough to the station and town), to its general physical appointment. It’s in beautiful condition and if ever there have been tiny inevitable niggles the apartments management have pretty much fixed them there and then on the day that help was required. I find everybody associated with the building to be really pleasant and helpful. I can’t recommend this place any higher.”

“So happy to have found a lovely boarding centre where we know our rabbit Harley will be well looked after when we're away. Lorraine clearly cares a great deal about the animals staying with her and we really appreciated that Lorraine shared a photo of Harley on the Now Boarding Croydon Facebook page while we were on holiday so we could see how he was getting on. Would highly recommend!”

“Very nice hotel. Is not expensive but the services are very good for the money. The rooms are clean, every day the cleaners change the bed sheets, towels and consumables. The rooms have big LCD TV, air conditioning, hair dryer, kettle, mini fridge, safe and microwave oven. The room doors are locked with electronic latches wich sometimes doesn't work properly because of magnetic cards, but the problem is very well known by the hotel employees and they will change your card without any problems. Parking is not free and you can park at the basement of the hotel or into Ibis hotel parking.”

“She rebonded my gerbils when they fell out. Not only that, she helped me figure out exactly WHY the falling out happened and taught me how she bonded them so when the time came and one died, I was able to successfully rebind myself”

“Highly recommend! Would definitely return again. I was initially pretty anxious about dropping off our 14 year old cat L who had never been to a cattery before. I did a lot of research beforehand and Farm Cottage had good reviews, so thought I'd give it a go. They welcome visits if you like before you drop your cat off so that you can check out their facilities etc. I didn't do this due to my own time constraints. However, I was pleased when I dropped L off and they allowed me to sit in her pen with her for as long as I liked to get her settled. I brought her favourite blanket and pillow with me so that she had something familiar with too and this was welcomed. They also support cats with conditions. L suffers with cystitis so I gave the Cattery her medication to provide to her during her stay. The Cattery is also located right next door to a vets, so you have that assurance that if there were any issues a vets is just 1 minute away! One of the best things about this place is that they are happy for you to come and visit your cat whenever (during opening hours). When I was enquiring about catteries, some other places said that visits were not allowed! Obviously for peace of mind you want to see how your cat is doing etc. I visited L one weekend and it was lovely to see her in high spirits. Thank you to Dan and the team for looking after L! I'll be sure to return in the future.”

I was also lucky enough to take advantage of Alma's culinary skills (alma is a professional housekeeper and chef, baker - delicious cakes and pastries), who will welcome you and make sure you have a great experience. “I want to thank practice nurse Persis from Valley Park Surgery and greatly recommend that other patients try to ask to see her if possible. I had an appointment for a blood test this morning and was attended by her. She was very professional and friendly and was super efficient in her work. had countless blood test experiences in the past where some nurses would fumble for many long minutes to find the correct vein on my arm but Persis managed it on first try. It was simply a matter of applying sterilisation swipe, insert needle, and draw away. The whole process did not feel like it took more than an entire minute. So amazingly efficient! To me, what separated Persis from many other nurses I have seen in different GP surgeries in the past was that she was very thorough. She had clearly reviewed my medical records before seeing me and knew that I had yet to book an appointment for another test that was overdue so she offered to do that test for me since I was already there. And again, she was so skilled and efficient. A minute or two later, it was done! Amazing! Honestly it would have taken me more time to try to book an appointment online than having the test done by Persis! Thank you so much Persis! You exemplified what an excellent medical staff should be not through your words but through your actions.❤️”

“Went down for 3 days in Easter holidays and ha really great stay. Landlord was helpful and easy to contact. Flat was really nicely decorated and easy to find. The apartments have gated parking and easy to get into. We kinda struggled with getting out though as found someone had to go outside to open gates then drive out. But we didn't check if easier way of opening carpark gates. Two lifts and wide stairs make for good disability access with ramps to entrance where car park is, and front I remember as being flat or gentle slope. Good signage for flat numbers making getting around inside easy. Window of the lat we stated in had view of carpark so not overlooking any other flats or overlooked.”

In September I visited with my two great friends, one of whom was was celebrating her engagement. The staff were fabulous, food was delicious, and the setting was gorgeous. If you want a stunning place to relax whilst appreciating nature, this is it. We loved the decor, subtle colours and ambience. Well done Birch! We will return.”

“Price on the Waffle and Chicken/Prawn dish is steep at first glance but the amount of food you get and quality is great. Customer service from the employees was great. Clean front area and clean open kitchens where you can see the food being prepared. Fruit punch is amazing.”
