“News are around that lakehouse is perhaps closing and I’ve been meaning to come for 4 years but its soooo far from the city I only decided now. Was soo cosy and tasty, we were looked after 100%. Food came quickly and super tasty! Interior deco is very authentic. Wish someone invested and it could move closer to the city + some good old advertising, I could order take away on a lazy sunday night! My non-hungarian partner always loves “porkolt”. :)”

“Our favorite restaurants in Orpington and we go there often. The lobster dish is absolutely delicious and perfect for two people to share. The best we had for a lobster dish. Lots of good seafood dishes that you won’t find in other restaurants around here. The salads is delicious that even I who isn’t a big fan of salad like it. Their children menu is also good. We particularly like the nutritious and healthy fish and veggies dish for our son. He cleared the whole plate. Very friendly staff and chefs. The price is very good too for what you get. Highly recommend it.”

“Very nice change to the usual food places in Sevenoaks, and it's not often outside of London you get South American food in my experience. Tried the Arepa Pabellón which consists of shredded beef, black beans, plantain, and grated cheese, in corn bread. Apparently the most popular Arepa that people get. For £10.50 I definitely think it's worth it, as the flavour was excellent and it was jammed full of ingredients! My photography doesn't do it justice! The lady that served me was friendly and music was playing while my food was being prepared. I will definitely be back!”

“I’m a flight attendant from the US, so I rarely make reservations since my schedule is unpredictable. I decided to walk in on a whim after seeing the great reviews and craving Indian food. Although they asked if I had a reservation and I didn’t they welcomed me warmly and found me a table. The food and service were outstanding, full of rich flavor and attention to detail. If you like sweet-flavoured dishes, go for the Cola Pork Ribs with Rice Cakes, the Plum Powder Potato Tower, and the Black Pepper Honey Beef. If you’re into bold Sichuan flavours, the Guan Gong Spicy Beef and the Salt and Pepper Lotus are both amazing. Mango and Taro Flavoured Rice Cakes are a must-try after-meal delight — they go perfectly with the condensed milk dipping. Portions are generous, prices are fair for London, and the staff were super friendly. Will definitely be back!”
