“Excellent eating place, clean good looking and staff are brilliant. The owner is Mo he's brilliant at suggesting really nice authentic Indian dishes if you want something a little more true to asian cooking he will cater for you. The only downside is the disable access to the restaurant and the bathroom, otherwise they are willing to help in any way they can. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Ps not badly priced either so looking forward to another visit before I leave London.”

In September I visited with my two great friends, one of whom was was celebrating her engagement. The staff were fabulous, food was delicious, and the setting was gorgeous. If you want a stunning place to relax whilst appreciating nature, this is it. We loved the decor, subtle colours and ambience. Well done Birch! We will return.”

I have ordered from here about 5 times on deliveroo and the other day I finally decided to pop in and eat inside the restaurant and I was not disappointed . Food has been absolutely fantastic every time I have ordered from here and was even better for dine in. For starters , I shared a chilli chicken and fish tikka and they were both incredibly delicious , definitely the best things we ordered ( despite everything else being great too). All the curries and sides were fantastic . Everything was very flavourful . Staff were also very attentive and friendly . Highly recommend if you’re in Croydon and want good food.”

The rent is affordable for London, and the service is exceptional—particularly the ground floor, communal areas, and management spaces, which are all top-notch (and the music is a nice touch). My room is fantastic: modern, spacious, and comfortable, and any concerns I’ve had are addressed promptly by the management. I’ve been living here for a year now, and it’s been a truly enjoyable experience. The team, especially Hafeez, is incredibly welcoming, genuine, and knowledgeable—whenever I stop by to chat, I always leave feeling well taken care of. The apartments are spacious with high-quality finishes, and the amenities, particularly the co-working space and rooftop, are outstanding.”

“I was an extremely happy regular customer, the food is exquisite. Good size portions and the quality is great. I'm very choosey about my food, and they have never let me down. I've since moved to Swindon, and regularly get food collected by family and brought down to me, because it really is the best. If it wasn't 2 hours away, I'd happily pay a delivery charge to get it !! The customer service is second to none, they really take pride in their food and creating the best meal for you. “As someone with a parent from the Caribbean can say really fantastic food here! Was excited to see this new place near by and can say it's some of the best we've had! We had Brown Stew Chicken and Oxtail which was packed with flavour including the rice. Mac and Cheese &, plantain also great. Was able to eat it in the Golden Ark pub two doors down as well as they have very friendly management! Will definitely be going again.”

“I was a bit worried ordering food based on the reviews I read but the food was fantastic - the pasta was amazing the garlic bread unreal and ringing to find out an ETA the staff were super friendly and super helpful and the value for money I think was great! “Always hot and fresh if you eat in/takeaway - coin toss with delivery services as usual. From my experience food is always made to order unlike at most fast food places - you might wait a few minutes but it's worth it.”

“Nice and quiet spot if you ever want a chilled meal with friends and family. Reasonable prices for food + the garden area is great in the summer. The mixed grill is good deal is you like steak. And they have plenty of other vegan/veggie alternatives.”

“I have eaten here my whole life, I've never noticed any decline in food or service. Staff are always friendly, whether I pick up or order a delivery. I am a picky eater so I always have rather specific requests and they always accommodate my needs with a smile. I believe their food to be good value for money, my tummy has never not been satisfied eating here. Thank you Phoenix for delicious meals every time! :)”
