“Great food and attentive waiters. New items on the menu which look good so we will be back to try. Popular with our friends who travel from outside of Orpington to enjoy. Only slight comment is about the lighting, please please change ‘bright’ light bulbs for ‘soft’ light bulbs to make a better ambience. Just turning them down doesn’t really work as they are too harsh but everything else Amazing.”

“I booked an afternoon tea in a pod for myself, my mum and my aunt today. I have to say that Fiona was absolutely AWESOME!! She attended to our every request with a smile and some great chatter. Fiona is a true asset to the Mulberry Tree at Ruxley! GIVE HER A RAISE!!! The food was outstanding too. A really lovely afternoon tea with the best scone I have ever had in my life. So thank you to Fiona for making our afternoon so special. And thanks to the kitchen for the beautiful food. I booked this afternoon tea as an early Mother’s Day treat and I am so glad we went. It was perfect and I highly recommend!”

“When entering creams Orpington I was absolutely amazed at how much option there was for dessert, I love the fact you can see all the food being made infront of you and you can see all the selection of ice cream on show at the front of the shop, after being seated we scanned a QR code on the wall and began to search through the massive selection of desert on offer, in the end I went for the cookie dough in the photo and could not had loved it anymore, I will definitely be going back and can’t wait.”

“I have had many bred shed burgers and breakfast muffins in my time. What can I say, always banging food. I always visit when I'm in the area. Chicken burgers are definitely my favourite. Onion jam with sausage muffin is all must. Yes, a little pricey but quality for sure. Thanks Ben”

“Had a Birthday dinner few days ago and can only thank for a brilliant service and food.Haven't been there for few years and surprised the restaurant kept the same good quality of food, and service, maybe even better. Didn’t make any pictures this time but everyone was very happy with they food.I don't know any other peoples names working there but they all were very good and polite . It's very good vines available in restaurant.The man name Paul was serving our table ,he he was listening very carefully what vine I like and he recommended very good vine 10 of 10,just perfect.Well done to all stuff,very nice and cosy atmosphere there,big Well done to the chefs. The only thing I want say is not a complaints I didn't ask when we start ordering the food,but it will be nice if customers can be asked about the allergies before ordering food. “I was already a big fan of this restaurant - the tapas is excellent - and was interested to try their Sunday roast. I went on the first day of this new menu and, quite simply, LOVED it! There were a few nibble type starters available - olives, padron peppers, almonds, bread. We had the sourdough bread - this came toasted with an alioli sauce - very tasty! The main course choices were beef, chicken, lamb cutlets or a vegan wellington. We had the chicken and lamb - both were served with roast potatoes, roasted carrots, parsnips, broccoli, yorkshire pudding and gravy. All superbly seasoned and delicious! Good portion size too. We didn’t have desserts, but saw others tucking into cheesecake and churros. Next time! The staff were fantastically welcoming as always! Laura, kept saying words to the effect of “It’s our first day doing this…” - no need to justify anything Laura, you’ve already aced this! Pricing is well pitched - £19 - £21 per person for main course, depending on your choice of meat. Well done Laura, Danny and, of course, the brilliant Spanish chef, Freddy! Already booked to go back next week!”

“I recently visited this Mediterranean restaurant with a friend on a Friday afternoon. The place was nearly empty due to covid19. As per the restaurant manager there's more footfall during Mondays to Wednesdays because of 50% off from the benefits of eat out government policy . The food served was fresh and delicious. The service was impeccable. Since there was no one else in the restaurant, social distancing was easily carried out.”

“What an absolutely incredible experience I had finding this random gem in Orpington when out with my mum on May 3rd bank holiday. This was before restrictions were lifted so we were seated outside but given blankets to wrap up in, and had the most amazing service from our waitress Karina! She was so attentive and just a star!! It was soooo windy but that didn’t dampen our experience whatsoever. We each had a managal combo plate (spicy chicken and lamb chops which were humongous) with bulgur wheat, spicy rice, and 2 types of salad. The home made bread was lush. Cooked to perfection and even given mint tea and baklava on the house after! Couldn’t recommend this place more and thank you Ozzy for stopping to chat with us after! And Karina for being such a genuine sweetheart when catering to us. Can’t wait to come back for my mums birthday, delicious food, fantastic prices, and fabulous staff!”

“Wow! Amazed today coming into the five bells It’s been taken over by new owners and they are absolutely lovely! Me and my partner got the bells beef burger each with bacon and cheese bacon was perfectly crispy burger was lovely! Was sooo nice. And we got onion rings too honestly amazing food and such a lovely family pub. Have play slides for the kids a huge garden nicely decorated. Such a warm feeling when walking in we have now booked in for a Sunday roast. And can’t wait to try it, also the house wine is divine and got price! This will now be our ongoing local. X”

E veramente un Caffe Italiano Autentico, buonissimo espresso, tutti quanti mangia bene ogni volta, senza dubio. Amazing super friendly and genuine Italian proprietor. The young Italian “Bossman” and myself talk in Italian and his passion and love for his venue is obvious to see. I bought a Summer home in Inverigo (a province of Comi about 20 miles North of Milan in 2005) and our Family try to go on vacation there every year. Highly recommend Primo Caffe without a doubt it is the BEST COFFEE and serves a beautiful selection of Authentic Italian food, in Orpington. Caveat : it can get SUPER BUSY (which is a good sign of an excellent venue). Ciao”

“Was welcomed promptly and taken to our seats even though we had no reservations (recommended on weekends). Food was of high quality and served promptly. The service was warm and welcoming and we were treated to live instrumental and vocal music and belly dancing on the Saturday we went. If you're searching for the most authentic, flavour-packed Indian meal, look no further! This was, without a doubt, the most flavoursome Indian food I’ve ever had. The Lamb Tikka Phall was fiery and rich, bursting with bold spices yet beautifully balanced. The Chicken Chat Puri Starter (extra hot!) delivered a delightful kick with succulent, well-seasoned chicken wrapped in soft, warm puri—perfection! The Keema Rice was another knockout, infused with deliciously spiced minced meat and the perfect amount of heat. Every dish was cooked to absolute perfection, the sauce was thick and indulgent, the meat was tender and full of flavour, and everything arrived hot and steaming, just as it should. Timing was spot on, proving that they care about both quality and service. Of course, the papadam added that satisfying crunch to round off an unforgettable meal.
