“Wedding venue We got married at the Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond on the 18th of October and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. We chose the winter wedding package, and everything from start to finish was beautifully organised. Laure was absolutely wonderful – calm, patient, and so responsive throughout the whole planning process. She explained everything clearly, gave fantastic advice, and it was lovely to have her there on the day with her calm, kind and reassuring manner. The venue looked stunning, with the room very professionally set up and the riverside location providing a beautiful backdrop. The food was exceptional – so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was and how smoothly the whole day ran. The fire pit, hot chocolate, and mulled wine were the perfect added touches for an autumn wedding. A huge thank you to Laure, Sherry, and the entire team at the Bingham Riverhouse for making our wedding day so special. Everything was flawless, and we’ll remember the day for years to come. “Chase Lodge Hotel is a hidden gem, a wonderful place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Central London. Lovely rooms, fantastic breakfast and great service from Denise, who is a very kind host.”

“Malaysian cuisine! Friendly staff and makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable to dine in. Try Makan Makan Fried Rice and tea (hand mixed by Michelle) There's also a Fried Mars Bar!? Worth a try! Restaurant is a bit small with about 5 tables. Reasonably priced.”

“We had an afternoon shindig at Mamma Mia's after my dad's funeral as it was the place Mike and Betty loved most in EastSheen. Rosa's Puglia inspired food was wonderful, and Leo kept our glasses of Chilled Prosecco topped up, bless him. Can't recommend it enough.”

“Found this place after a disaster of cancelled orders and thank god we did! The food was incredibly tasty! Lamb was flaking beautifully and I’m not someone that typically goes for lamb. The chicken was flavoursome and juicy and tender. The saag paneer was excellent. Everything was well packed, HOT so no need to re heat and it was so lovely receiving some popodoms and chutney. Will defy e ordering from here again and will be recommending to others!”

“We had the most fantastic service from all of the team especially Usha who was wonderful in helping with a few challenges as our daughter and partner were delayed in traffic. They transformed what could have been a stressful time into a lovely family occasion. Food quality was lovely and a perfect spacious setting and atmosphere to have a large group together. “A neighbourhood pub, that we have frequented over the years. I love the homely, cosy interior, and the staff are very lovely. Often just to have a drink. But we recently discovered that they also do pretty good food. Portion sizes for the dishes are also generous. They provide snacks to nibble on as well like toasted bread and butter, and veggie crisps. But one thing to note is that this is not somewhere you go if you are in a hurry. It looks like they have a very small crew. The food service is very slow, we were waiting for about an hour before our main courses showed up, even when the pub was not even full, and we had come in off-peak times.”

They have a tapas lunch special during the day. 3 tapas for £13.5 The Smoked chicken croquettes were good, the king prawn comes with lots of chorizo though it doesn't quite come together, and the trio of mushrooms (3 types of mushrooms cooked/boiled together) was okay though excessively salted. Still worth the money but not high end though perfect for us as a small lunch meal for 2.”

“It was a stupidly hot late June day and as we were traveling back from Hampton Court Palace, we met a local whose parents also happened to be staying at the same hotel (The Selwyn) as us. We were on the last leg of four straight weeks of international travel and safari…we were EXHAUSTED and wanted a good simple dinner super close to the hotel and The Red Cow was recommended to us. The bartender was awesome, but made my day when he noticed how hot and tired we looked and brought me a pint glass filled to the brim with ice, to go with my fruity cider I was trying. Divine! Small gesture, big impact. Enjoyed a delicious dinner, football match on the tv, and we’d stay here instead of The Selwyn next visit. Also, don’t recall the name of this drink he recommended, but it was perfect at the end of a long, hot day. Thank you!”

“Went there with the family, I had the chicken pizza and the amazing volcano Pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. The complementary olives and the tasty small bread were as tasty as well. Cant recommend the place enough. The staff was friendly and experience. you should definitely try it soon.”

“Long running family run professional barbers. Extremely friendly staff, with excellent barber skills, able to work with all hair types. Very cool place, with a graffiti ceiling you must see and hyper on trend. This should be the ONLY barber's you go to.”

“A diamond in Richmond. It's an old house based hotel renieuwd. Loverly employees how makes everything possible and make you feel home. Good room, nice breakfast en lovely dinner in the restaurant as well as the cafeteria. Delicious lins soup. They still working on the hotel. They're making it nicer, if this is possible.”

I would recommend Kurk Grill Bar for a light evening meal and catch-up with friends. “Stopped in early on a Saturday night for dinner as I’ve passed this restaurant multiple times and finally made it in to dine. The menu is straightforward and the food is absolutely delicious- pasta cooked to perfection and all the flavors complimenting each other. I went for the carbonara, good flavor and generous bits of bacon, and had olives to start which were marinated very nicely in herbs. Absolute gem of a place, will definitely be back!”

“New Yorker/New Jerseyan here- this place. is. it. The mafalde is absolutely delectable. It is the simplest meal made up of a handful of ingredients but oh my— the freshness?? unreal. The margherita pizza STUNNED with a classic cheesy, greasy (in a good way) finish, you really can’t ask for more. Even the vegan pizza was delicious, and a quick ricotta sub (i took olives off my half) made it the perfect meal. Excellent vibes, both indoor & outdoor, & excellent food. Cannot recommend it more! “Came in with my family for a last minute Sunday roast. Staff were all lovely and the roasts were even better. Very impressive portions and the gravy is hands down the best I have ever had with a roast, it had such a depth of flavour I am still thinking about it and would literally drink it on its own. Chef also seemed sweet, waved at us through the pass and sent out extra yorkies as we were the last table of the night. Will defo be back.”

“Ordered the Thai Salmon Curry, it was good. Before, I ordered several times the noodle, it wasn't as I expected. The staff was nice, and attentive. The ambiance was cozy with really good interior design, comfortable, and not too noisy. Toilets for customers are available (downstairs, and on the first floor, need to use the door code from the receipt).”

“This Caffè Nero is wide and spacious. It’s not far from the train station. Tucked away in a small alley, you will find this Nero in a quiet corner. It wasn’t so busy on a Sunday morning. The staff were nice and polite.”

I loved the pizza and pasta we shared - sorry no photos of the Ndjua pizza or sage / butter ravioli as we were too busy eating it! Would highly recommend- avoid the tourist traps and go here. Did I mention the Tiramisu?”

“The BEST pizza place in Putney. Great for a pizza on way back home after getting off at East Putney. We love this place, not just the best tasting pizza but also we have a great laugh with the owner and he is such a great person. Highly reccomend:)”
