“I had the most amazing stay here for my birthday. The hotel was unique with stunning decor - highly unusual but brilliant. The hotel had made every effort to recognise the occasion - the room was aptly decorated with balloons and a handwritten message on the mirror. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice - a lovely buffet selection. My dietary needs were catered for (gluten/dairy free). The hotel is situated in Islington - a very short walk to the canal. A morning walk along the canal to Canary Wharf and back along the Thames Path was the best start to the day! There are some beautiful spots along the canal to stop for a coffee or bite to eat - these are within a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel - it made a really nice change to stay somewhere a little different/unique.”

“A spacious, well designed and immaculately finished Victorian house with a large kitchen and beautiful garden. Very well situated near the charming, tucked away pubs, bars and restaurants of Forest Gate, a stone's throw from Wanstead Flats, and a short walk to easy transport into central London. Host Tamara is absolutely fantastic. A definite 5 out of 5 experience.”

“Had my son's 5th birthday party here and him and his friends were having a blast. The trampoline area is big but not too overwhelming, several staff members were looking after everyone for safety reasons. The UV party room was excelent, the kids were all delighted. The food was fresh and tasty, the pizza was warm and delicious. The staff member was attentive and helpful in the room. I wish I took her name to put it here. We're all felt very well looked after and not rushed at all even if we passed our 30 minutes time in there. Thank you! We will be coming back!”

“We had an amazing time at The Landmark. Everything was perfect! The location is unbeatable with the Marylebone station right outside the back of the hotel. They even have roofed pathway from the hotel exit to the station entrance! The room was immaculate: spacious, luxurious, comfortable and was really well kept and cleaned as they offer turn down service in the evening too. The champagne bar and The mirror bar offered great cocktails and drinks. The ambience was out of this World. The interior of the lobby and bars were so elegant it was like inside a palace. The staff were friendly, helpful and very kind. This was without doubt the best hotel we had ever stayed at. Will definitely stay here every time we are in London. Bravo!”

“We had an excellent weekend stay at the Canopy. On arrival we received a very friendly, welcoming and efficient check-in service from Connor. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Due to a train delay, we arrived much later than planned, so ate at the hotel the first night. The food was delicious and, again, the service friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good. Not a huge selection, but still enough to choose from, and good quality. Our only issue was that the pillows in our room were too plump for our liking, but the staff promptly changed them for us. Throughout our stay, the staff were excellent. We would certainly stay here again.”

“Exceptional Stay in the Heart of London★★★★★ I recently had the pleasure of staying at The pillar Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The location is perfect—right in the heart of London, making it easy to explore the city’s top attractions. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast was a highlight, with a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality options. The hotel’s attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set it apart. I highly recommend The pillar hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and stress-free stay in London. “Second time staying here. Hands down, best location in London from a connections standpoint. Fifteen minute walk from Liverpool station to connect you to Heathrow and several other tube stations close by. Easy walking through Shoreditch packed with great restaurants and great nightlife and pubs. One of the nicest hotels in London unless you want to spend £500 per night. Modern, beautifully decorated, generous size rooms for London standards, squeaky clean, an adequate gym with modern equipment, and a great lounge and bar. Will definitely be back and have had many colleagues stay here, all which were very impressed.”

“I had a genuinely excellent stay at ibis Styles London Ealing, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the hotel felt welcoming, modern, and well cared for. After a long journey, Mac made the check-in process smooth, friendly, and completely stress-free, which instantly put me at ease and set a great tone for the stay. The room itself was spotless with a unique cinema theme that made it stand out from a typical hotel room. I especially appreciated the small personal touches, a welcome card waiting in the room and a little chocolate, which was such a nice surprise and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Another thoughtful detail that really impressed me was the complimentary pastries available one of the evenings I was there, along with free orange juice for guests. It’s a small gesture, but it adds a warm, generous feel to the hotel and shows real attention to guest experience. The room was comfortable, quiet, and relaxing, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was friendly and calm. Everything felt well organized and cared for, and it’s clear the team takes pride in what they do. I would happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service and thoughtful touches throughout.”

“Very satisfied with our stay at the Hub. The hotel was happy to store our bags prior to check in. The room was spotlessly clean & the beds were comfy (though we did request extra pillows). The nighttimes were peaceful & there was a black out blinds on the window. All the staff, including the duty manager & chefs were very friendly & happy to accommodate my partners dietary requirements and the bar/breakfast are was comfortable. The location was very convenient, as was the 12 noon check out time. I would note even the larger of the rooms are on the small side & perhaps more suitable for a single person and I found the way the lighting in the bathroom was connected to the lighting in the room a little odd.”

“This is a rather special old inn. We had a wonderful, though very brief, overnight stay with breakfast in the morning, the day after a long road journey. Wound down with a nightcap in the company of James and Jules at the bar; they were great hosts. The room and, in particular, the bed were just superb. The bathroom: everything clean and just as you'd want it. Mary made us a very good breakfast and was also very friendly. It was clear all the staff we met actually care and want their guests to enjoy their stay and be comfortable. Highly recommended.”

“katolondonhaus 3rd stay , this time 17-19 May 2024 2 nights , Room 5 My third stay at Katolondonhaus. Once with family , last two times I stayed, alone in room 5. The room has a large double bed with very soft but firm pillows , a firm -medium mattress and a really nice duvet , that to me was the same you as you get in a premier inn...all very cosy. The ensuite although small, is very well appointed with a super fast hot shower , that really does a great job envigourating you for the day with a modern small sink , glass shelf and bathroom mirror , all tastefully decorated with a contemporary grey tile pattern. There's is a desk to work from next to a mini fridge , on top of which are the complementary water, tea and coffee facilities. The TV, I think 32 inch ( flatscreen Samsung) is mounted on the wall which set a above a fixed hairdryer. Heating wise there is a large radiator, I didn't use this time , as the double glazed windows , with modern slats was easy to open for fresh air. WiFi is excellent, you can easily play call of duty mobile or watch your favourite film on your laptop. All in all tastefully decorated, kept very clean and I would recommend. You will not be disappointed. In addition there is a large kitchen area, should you require any additional items which is next to a dinning table leading on to the well manicured garden. The property itself is set in a quiet residential area of Morden with parking on or just off the property on the main road. It feels very safe with an electronic combination lock to the main front door. Matsuo is extremely welcoming and thoughtful of his guests and will leave you to get on with things. If you need anything else just ask or leave a note! I will be staying again and katolondonhaus is now my "go to" accommodation when I visit London from Suffolk. Alan , Suffolk.”

“I recently stayed at a hotel in Canary Wharf and had a great overall experience. The location is excellent — very well connected to the city centre by public transport, yet tucked away in a quiet and pleasant area. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast was simple, but everything was fresh and well prepared each morning. A solid choice if you want a calm base with fast access to all key parts of London. I would definitely stay here again.”

“This is our second time staying and it has been brilliant. The room size is brilliant, great value for money and very clean. The hotel manager and his staff have been fantastic. “Hddn Grvs: A High-Fidelity Prelude to an Epic Day Before the adrenaline of the pitch, my husband and I kicked off what was already a bucket list day at Hddn Grvs, a phenomenal high-fidelity listening cocktail bar right in the London city center. Tucked away and possessing a distinctly speakeasy vibe, Hddn Grvs is an elegant and bold nod to the golden age of vinyl and the pioneering spirit of Virgin Records. It’s more than just a place for drinks; it’s an immersive experience where you can truly sink into curated sound at the dedicated listening stations. The cocktail menu is pure genius, artfully remixing iconic ‘70s albums with a modern twist. The drinks are bold, nostalgic, and totally made to be discovered. It was the perfect, stylish, and electrifying pause before the main event. What a truly unforgettable and exciting day—everything about it felt perfectly curated!”

“Lovely, cheap, very clean twin room for a one night stay after a concert. Very easy to get to, lovely reception staff. My only one downside was we were next to the rail bridge so train noise starts early. Worth keeping in mind if you want a lie in as checkout isn't until 11am so no need to rush about. “If you are looking for a no frills room that is in a superb location, this hotel is for you. I only stayed one night for business. When I checked in I was feeling terrible and I arrived early. Check in wasn't for another hour, I was going to cancel my room and book at another Marriott since I have status and usually can check in early. The young lady working at the front desk was super helpful and saw that I wasn't feeling well, I didn't catch her name I wish I had because she sprung into action. She told me to have a seat and she was going to see what she could do to help. She was so kind and empathetic and was able to get me into a room quickly so I could rest. I appreciated that gesture beyond belief! The room was clean, no frills, just a bed, small bathroom and necessities. If you've ever stayed on a cruise ship, the rooms are exactly that of a cruise ship. The location is across the street from Victoria train and underground station with food and transportation. Even though it was only for one night, it was a wonderful experience with Marriott hospitality that makes me continue to be a loyal customer.”
