The team was also super accommodating to changes on the day, if they were annoyed (which I would have been) they didn’t show it - extremely professional. “We hosted our daughter’s 1st Birthday party in the Star’s private function room (a beautiful room). Elle did a fantastic job and ensured that the day ran smoothly! I had a lot of specific asks and requests and Elle did a great job in fulfilling them. Communication from booking to the event itself was great. On the day Elle pre-empted all our needs, the chef was great, food was lovely and the service from the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back for the next big celebration!”

Vicky's energy, professionalism & quality of products is what keeps you going back but also how comfortable she makes you feel & having a good ole natter at the same time. I’m always so pleased with my eyebrows & waxing. Vick trained Tillie up whilst she went on maternity leave & between them both the salon has a dream team & slick operation. “Doesn't matter who cuts your hair they are all great. Friendly accomodating staff. Times I go mostly elderly clientele, but sure they are adaptable enough for any age group. Prices reasonable too.”

“This is a traditional Micro pub in the pure sense as it only serves real beers tapped straight out of the barrel. They also do a selection of wines, ciders and some ready mixed spirits. If you want to drink a glass full of fizzy water full of chemicals (lager) then this isn't the place for you. If however you would like to try out some of the incredible variety of British beers (some better than others depending on your personal taste), this is the place to go. A Micro pub as opposed to a micro bar”

“We stopped here for a spot of dinner and we were very impressed. The restaurant was very quiet but it was early evening, and we were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was good and value for money. There are alcoholic and soft drinks available and an extensive menu The restaurant is clean and modern and the staff Very friendly and helpful.”

“All 7 of us really loved our meal and the service was excellent. The best thing for me was that they have a vegan menu too which is amazing! And he even said even if it's not in that section they can adapt it to your dietary needs. I haven't been able to have korma in 10 years and it was soooo good!”

“I managed to book a last minute appointment as I forgot I was going on holiday. My friend recommended this salon to me. They managed to fit me in for hi-lights and a cut. Chloe did it and I was so pleased with the results. I absolutely adore Macey too and she chatted away to me and absolutely loved the conversation. “We had THE BEST lunch at The White Cross Inn. We had just been to the pumpkin patch down the road and this was the perfect way to end a nice autumn day. The staff was friendly and kind and the food was delicious. They even had a few board games to keep the kiddo busy whilst we were waiting for food. 10/10 highly recommend!!”
