“Very stylish hotel in central location with top transport links. Rooms are quiet and beds are great. Lots of Amenities , pool and spa are icing on the cake. Service is top. Only two small things to fault during our stay - the Aircon seems to reset when u leave the room and was always cold on return , had to turn temperature back up and we had a lovely view but very dirty widows. Go and find the hidden lovely hotel bar around a corner”

“Wonderful. That probably doesn't do it justice. The location is idyllic. The house is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We sat outside as it was a lovely day with a spectacular view across the valley. We went for the set menu. It's not cheap but actually it's not unreasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A few surprises (ants - deliberately - on the sushi) which were utterly delicious. We had different choices and every one of them was fantastic. Service was brilliant - friendly and informative - and the whole experience was unrushed, relaxed and sublime. Couldn't have had a better celebration of our anniversary. I also can't reccommend it enough.”

“A chefs perspective of ottos it could not get more French when you walk in your transported to France. The owner is a French as they come! I thought the goats cheese soufflé was one of the best starters I’ve ever had. The scallops were also as good as it gets. The service on the starters wasn’t the best they got our starters mixed up the front of house manager took our order so that was his bad the younger waiter had to take the embarrassment for it!. I did find the front of house manager abir all the place pacing up and down the restaurant looking quite bored at times but he is good with customer with his old school approach and jokes and he’s certainly knows what he’s doing. It was quiet that night so maybe that was the mistake and the pacing up and down. As for the rack of lamb the theatre was great but the lamb was as good as roar in my opinio. I forgot how rare the French cook meat. That ruined it for me and in my opinion English peolple think that is to under cooked the worst part was the fat had not been rendered down and was very raw and tough also the whole lamb was under seasoned and it needed some sort of peas maybe as a purea?! It ruined rhe meal for me I said to my sister I’ve only cooked a rack of lamb a few times so these guys should get it bang on cooking it most nights but they messed it up big time! They should ask how you want it cooked because once it’s been carved that’s it you will have to flash it in a pan which will ruin it to cook it more! execute the cooking right b4 you bring the theatre out I would say I have never had pomme soufflés b4 I wanted to get them to see what the hype is about they were exactly how they should be looks wise a work of art crafted by a mater of his trade! They are extremely hard to make so hats of ro the chef who did them for me sadly as I expected rhe flavour was not great just like a crisp with no seasoning the salt had not even stuck to them again all about the theatre but lacking in seasoning. They would be better served with some sort of Hollandaise or aioli not the jus. The Apple tart was to die for and the chocolate pot and the after dinner truffles were not very impressive . It’s a great restaurant I would not return I would say it’s the sort of place most people would only go once I would not say it’s worth the price tag for normal people anyway. I know my food and how hospitality runs so I like to leave an honest chefs review of restaurants. I would like to say the younger guys in the team were very professional and knew what they were doing shame they have to make up mistakes of others but it was an experience I wanted to show my sister a higher class of food and service and it did deliver just a shame rhe lamb was not right. Whej it came to the bill I was not willing to pay the 12.5% tip I wanted to tip what I thought it was worth they wanted £30 service charge well I put 10£ for it and of course like all fancy places and most places in general in london they make you feel bad for it and it can create a scene my £10 was a fair tip they shpuid of been happy with considering the service they had given me and tbh this bugs me about these places I’m not from the 1% my bill is already very expensive why embarrass me in front of other guests and my sister not all guests have endless amounts of money and don’t take it personally if people cannot pay the service charge it’s optional some people are hard up and save for a meal like this. Thanks to ottos for the experience it’s something I will not forgot the French know how to eat drink and live that’s for sure there food brings joy all round the globe they are very passionate people when it comes to hospitality.”

“Went for a birthday breakfast at the Royal Lancaster hotel, I had the breakfast buffet and was very happy with everything, the service was great, the breakfast options were plenty, with sweet and savoury there was something for everyone, please note if you’re Muslim you’ll have to request halal sausages from the kitchen as the ones out aren’t halal but glad there’s an option for that. The French toast was also amazing. Marcelina, Mounir and Ayska were lovely and very attentive throughout our breakfast, thank you again.”

“We had an excellent weekend stay at the Canopy. On arrival we received a very friendly, welcoming and efficient check-in service from Connor. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Due to a train delay, we arrived much later than planned, so ate at the hotel the first night. The food was delicious and, again, the service friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good. Not a huge selection, but still enough to choose from, and good quality. Our only issue was that the pillows in our room were too plump for our liking, but the staff promptly changed them for us. Throughout our stay, the staff were excellent. We would certainly stay here again.”

“This was my second visit, and it was just as amazing as the first! Located on the 38th floor, the views are incredible, and the whole atmosphere feels special. The service is top-notch — the staff are always so friendly and helpful, really making you feel looked after. The food is outstanding — the sea bass, the sushi, everything was absolutely on point. It’s one of those places where every dish tastes fresh and full of flavour. Definitely one of my favourite spots for a treat meal!”

“A really incredible food experience made better by the kindest and most enthusiastic team of chefs and staff. Every course was delicious, balanced, and well conceived. Each course also had such a different take on a new element than the last, constantly impressing. We loved hearing how each dish was contrived and redesigned from earlier iterations and seasons. At the end of our night, the staff were kind enough to spend extra time answering our questions about their ferments, reuses, and zero-waste methods. It was a really special experience! My parents, who are not typically a fan of vegetarian heavy dinners, absolutely loved it! A great spot for anyone interested in local, foraged, fermented, or thoughtful ingredients and dining.”

“I went with my gf yesterday, and the sushi was absolutely delicious. It had to be the best Sushi I’ve ever tried so far. Interior is decorated nicely and the service was 10/10. Shivani did a great job, I would recommend Chin Chin to anyone who hasn’t been. You have to go at least once in your life.”

“I was here for the first time for an early afternoon dinner. This is one of the pizzas I had in London.It’s real Italian and very tasty. The straciatella and spicy salami pizza is just the best. Burrata must be good but I will try that next time. The cocktails are also great. One of the few places which has campari spritz on their menu. The value is also good. If you’re coming for dinner at prime time you should book but otherwise you’re OK. I will be coming back.”

“It was my 1st time staying at Nobu Hotel, and definitely not last. The experience was absolutely out of this world. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable. And the customer service, absolutely incredible. Staff is always very helpful and friendly, I had the pleasure of meeting Erel and Dafy at the front desk. They made sure that everything was taken care of for me and they did it with a big smile. For me it was the best customer service ever. Overall it has been an amazing stay (it's a shame it was one night only) and I would reccomend it to anyone.”

It’s minutes away from the train station, rooms are spacious, there’s air con, comfortable bed, good breakfast times, quiet and I left an item behind in the room and they were absolute stars in getting it back to me. “Nobu is above the price range where we normally eat out but as we are fans of Nippon food, thought it was worth visiting the grand daddy of Japanese/Peruvian restaurants. It was an enjoyable experience, if dear. Our main waiter was excellent, advising on how much to order, deciding on the sequence and pairing of food arrivals, and instructing us how to best to enjoy certain dishes. This was not the case with all staff who sometimes just dumped dishes on our table. Happily our main waiter stopped by to instruct us to taste the miso black cod on its own first before trying it with the dots of sauce and saving the wand of pickled ginger for the end. Similarly the dry miso powder served with the grilled asparagus was meant to be sprinkled on top, though we also used it as condiment for dipping. First to arrive was a double order of tuna tacos with dry miso. Very delicious, served at room temperature and the seasoning was more reminiscent of truffle than miso. Tiny portion, though, with taco shells just shy 3 inches in diameter. Second to arrive were the star dishes of black cod miso and grilled asparagus with dry miso, both served warm. Portion sizes were thankfully generous. The black cod was delicious because the sweet miso and mirin marinade was applied very thinly and grilled until slightly blackened, so the flavour was complex rather than just sweet. It didn't need the dots of extra marinade mixture on the plate which we both found too sweet. A long thin stalk of pickled ginger was decorative both for its sculptural shape as well as its fuschia to white ombre hue. However, it tasted just like the pickled ginger you normally get with sushi. Asparagus was attractively charred but still succulent so probably blanched prior to grilling. Apologies for the photos as we started tucking into this course before remembering to take a photograph. Next to arrive were chicken skewers with anticucho sauce. Chicken breast was shockingly tender and juicy. I do not know how the kitchen team achieved this texture. Anticucho sauce was okay but nothing special--pretty much the same as in other Nippon restaurants. The garnishes of pickled cauliflower, hijiki and daikon were a lovely contrast. A sweet puree of pumpkin was a nice foil for the anticucho sauce. This portion consisted of two large skewers. Finally our order of maki fillers arrived. We had been unnecessarily worried about tiny portions so ordered a few rolls to fill up on rice. Scheduling these to arrive last was last was a brilliant move on the part of our waiter, as these items were not spectacularly different from maki rolls available at any Japanese takeaway that uses decent fish and serves sushi rice at the correct temperature. I liked the futomaki style house roll served with soy. We also had yellow tail and Jalapeno roll served with ponzu. We took home some maki's in a takeaway box because we were full. The restaurant is windowless in the basement though there is a pretty honey wood decor, recalling both Scandi and Japanese aesthetics. The wood panelling also resulted in excellent acoustics. The disco beats from the bar were far away enough not to be disturbing. Portion sizes were mainly good. I was a little surprised that the only South American ingredient in our order was chilli. We washed down our meal with the cheapest red at £55 which was very pleasant. This is at a price point where we might not dine here again. Dinner for two including the bottle of house wine came to £219. I was glad for the experience and certainly learned some new things to try to reproduce at home.”

“Great location and good family room size. Helpful reception and great parking albeit very tight to get in and out. Only improvement required is a microwave to warm milk for kids as going to the restaurant and seeking help was a bit of a nuisance. Will come again!”

“This is a grand hotel. Impeccable service. Very helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Rooms are very quiet. Bed are grand and rooms adequate. Location is fabulous, as it sits across from Hyde Park. Two tube stops nearby, only a few steps from the hotel entrance. Restaurants within two blocks provide varied menus, which is good since restaurant at the hotel has a limited menu and subpar service. Highly recommended overall.”

“We were arranged by the British Airways as our flight was delayed. We arrived at check in counter at about 6:00 pm, all the check in process is smooth and efficient, the staff is nice to gave us the meals coupons and recommended us to take the right time shuttle bus to airport in order to catch the flight tomorrow morning. The hotel renovation is fair, the decoration hanging on the wall of the corridor is unique. The room is clean and spacious, bed & the quilting is comfy, environment is quiet. There have fridge, kettle & the shower have great water pressure, the only thing I concern is the hair dryer is so poor. The experience over all for us is very good and we will recommend this hotel to my friends.”

“Stayed at this Holiday Inn just South of Regents Park near the heart of London for 5 nights at yhe close of August 2025.. It's close to the tube & other forms of public transportation aa well as pubs, restaurants, cafes, museums, etc. etc. The hotel hallways were a bit dated but the rooms were nicely appointed with modern amenities. The breakfast buffet had everything except an omelet station. Their coffee machines made any type of hot drink imaginable. I had a couple of cappuccino every morning & they were much better than Starbucks. Their restaurant & bar were open until 11p.m. & room service was almost all day. For the price, this hotel just can't be beat for its location & amenities. Lastly, the staff were always dressed to the nines & incredibly polite & helpful. Book your next stay in London & you'll be glad you did.”
