“Understated and underrated (….and underpriced). Excellent French sandwich shop/deli. Staff are very personable and quick service even during the lunch time rush. Chicken and truffle mayo baguette holds my strong recommendation and a lemon tart. A great little independent business that is a 2 minute walk from Southfields station.”

“First time at Sticks’n’Sushi on King’s Road and wow… what a treat! Lina was our sushi guru, charming, full of smart recommendations. We asked for dishes without alcohol and she nailed it. The food? Next level. Fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour, proper fine dining but without the stiff vibe. Service was flawless too; every single member of the team was warm and on point. If you love sushi, stop scrolling and just book a table. We’re already planning our next visit!”

“Amazing serving and amazing food. I had the penne salmon and it was melt in your mouth good! The house wine recommended was good as well. I didn’t taste the pizza but during my visit there it was a hot commodity and smelled amazing. Make sure you visit!!! It’s worth it”

“Awesome styling and very nice staff. The dishes were almost all super interesting and original. Lots of unusual ingredients. The non alcoholic drinks were quite expensive for what they were. Also the wagyu upgrade didn’t feel worth it for the price. You’ll be perfectly fine without and and you won’t miss the best dish. Transitioning to the bar was very well handled and overall KOL was very fun, stylish, interesting and tasty. I had such a great time and recommend it whole heartedly!”

“We had a great time at Benaras. Prabhat ji recommended the best food and drinks, and was great to talk to! Great service and lovely atmosphere. I specially loved the Essex farm chicken momo, Gatta curry and the dal makhani. For drinks, the Chutney Martini was interesting - a medley of spices. I personally loved the Gimlet and Imperial more.”

Another standout was Flo, who went above and beyond to serve us the most delightful tea, even though it’s not typically offered in the evening. The restaurant itself has a wonderful ambiance, making for an unforgettable fine dining experience. “The entrance was unclear, as my guest didn’t realise that it was through the reception at the Eight Club. Very good service and friendly staff, from the moment we walked in, till the time we left. The menus took some time to arrive, but we were enjoying the view. We arrived at 6:30pm and there was one other table occupied. By 9:30pm when we left half the restaurant was full. For. Tues evening this was expected. We had the 5 course menu with half a bottle of Prosecco for £35.50. It was well worth the money, especially with the cost of living. Each dish was a work of art and perfectly executed. My favourite dishes were the seafood dish and the duck breast. The dessert was a bit heavy, but still tasty. The waitress was attentive and kept our glasses topped up throughout the evening. The venue was nicely decorated and the bathrooms were well presented. I would recommend this restaurant Update: On my second visit. The service was poor. We were left waiting for a long time between courses to be served and had to ask twice for the bill. Also the dishes served this time round for the tasting menu were mediocre in places and should have been better throughout. We were also not served any bread, as the other tables who were also doing the same menu received. I would still return, but I have now lowered my expectations, which is unfortunate and probably won’t be in any rush.”

“I had a wonderful experience at Cote in Sloane Square. The food was absolutely delicious every dish was full of flavour, fresh, and beautifully prepared. It really exceeded my expectations. The service was just as impressive. Dom❤️who looked after us, was fantastic friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome throughout the meal. His excellent service really added to the experience and made the evening even more enjoyable. I’d highly recommend Cote at Sloane Square to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service. “I had such an amazing experience at INKO NITO in Soho. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt lively, modern, and welcoming. The interior has a great energy to it – stylish but not pretentious, and perfect for both casual dining and a fun night out with friends. The food was outstanding. Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The quality of ingredients really came through, and the creativity in the menu made it exciting to try different plates. The robata-style cooking added such a delicious smoky depth to the dishes, and everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and it was one of those meals where you want to keep ordering just to see what else surprises you. Service was also excellent – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The staff were happy to give recommendations, and they really added to the overall positive experience. This place is definitely worth a visit if you love Japanese-inspired cuisine with a twist. It has that perfect mix of great food, top service, and a buzzing atmosphere. “Service was great as the staff was very attentive and efficient. I think they bring a great atmosphere to the dining experience and the atmosphere there was lovely. Really love the variety of food and snacks available on the menu. They cater from meat to seafood and veggie options. I was really impressed with the cauliflower and leek croquettes, really tasty (this is coming from a person who isn't a fan of cauliflower) and the truffle honey chicken wings were amazing. Slightly disappointed with the falafel as it was a bit too salty. The pork belly was well presented and generous portion size for a main. Slightly chewy. Had a taste of the baby squid, that was delicious and well quicked and also the lamb skewers I recommend.”

“Imperial Treasure has become my “forever favorite” after trying many Cantonese restaurants in the city. “Exactly a year ago my wife and I got married here and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Ania and the team really looked after us on the build up and throughout, with great communication via email and in person. We added some dishes to the set menu and the team were so attentive bringing in the food and serving our friends and family. Luckily, they do a solid Sunday roast so we’re often back for a visit!”

“I can't say enough about how amazing Gaucho's was. This was our last meal in London after a two week trip across the UK. We decided to dine somewhere different and it was absolutely fantastic. The steak was delicious, tender, and perfectly cooked. My husband is a vegan and was elated with his dish. On top of the food, the staff was phenomenal. Checking in to make sure the food was okay, but also just to have pleasant conversation. By far the best dining experience we've had in the UK. On our next trip back, we will definitely be stopping by again.”

My only gripes are the tables are quite close together which meant staff and other customers often knocking into my chair. And I think the price is fairly high for the food but accept this may be down to the location and/or inflation.”

I had mussels to start, followed by Seabass, and my partner had steak followed by the chocolate brownie. We had a fantastic bottle of Chardonnay to accompany our meal. We also had complimentary fizz, which was a lovely way to end our meal. Toilets are downstairs. Staff are fantastic, polite, and friendly. Recommend.”

“The Yacht is a brilliant local with a really welcoming vibe. The team are always super helpful and friendly, and the food is absolutely yum and cheap too! Karaoke nights are loads of fun, the weekly quiz is a great laugh, and there’s always a good atmosphere. Love it here and will keep coming back!”
