“We recently joined this vet for our cat. We needed to find a vet closer to home which is possible to get to by tram or bus, but also had the option of parking close by. We were very happy with the friendly and professional staff. They were supportive and informative right from when we first made contact over the phone, and again when visiting. The reception and examination rooms were very clean. I felt our cat was very calm throughout and we left happy customers.”

“Absolutely lovely experience. Reception staff were super kind and helpful. When we had gone to another vet clinic privately, the vet had no idea what was causing my dog’s coughing and sent us for a £1,300 heart scan that we couldn’t afford to ‘investigate further’, with no other options offered. Here, at PDSA, the vet was very knowledgeable and told us that the dog has a healthy heart, just needed worming treatment. For £10, my dog’s coughing and choking is already gone after less than a week! I’m incredibly happy and so grateful!”

“Hi… It’s me Clive I would like to sincerely thank manish for his outstanding service at the pharmacy counter on the Christmas holiday .. Despite it being a very busy day and a public holiday. He remained clam, courteous and extremely professional throughout my visit. He was alone on the counter for a while but it took the time to listen carefully , explained everything clearly i had run out of my medicine he show me how you can do emergency or 111 and he helped me a lot.. and handled my request efficiently With a friendly and positive attitude. His dedication a willingness to help truly stood out and made a stressful situation much easier. It is rare to experience such excellent customer service especially on a holiday and manish is real credit to the pharmacy team . “It's very easy to tell that Sarah is a 'cat person'. The setup is lovely and I was amazed as how easily my two cats settled in to the room for the 6 days they were to spend here. On return home they were so chilled out and it felt to us a good indication of the care they'd been given during their stay. My son absolutely loved the postcard that arrived the next day from the cats saying what a great time they were having too! Everything felt like the cats are the priority over all else, with an appreciation that it can be stressful leaving your animals with someone else when you go away. “I have never written a google review before. However, I felt compelled to do so because of the exceptional service received by all the staff at Goddard Veterinary in New Addington. This is the first kitten I have had as an adult, and I wanted to give her the best start in life, so I visited 2 vets in my location. I could not believe how I was totally ignored at the first vet I visited. I thought if they could ignore a human, then I didn't know what they would do to my kitten. So I then visited Goddard Veterinary and was so happy how Marie spoke to me and explained everything to me. First impressions really do count! Since then, I registered my kitten, and she has attended there and is now an adult cat. She has been looked after so well. I would like to say a very big thank you to Marie, Liz, Helen, and Paulo for all their hard work and how kind, caring, and professional they have all been. “I want to thank practice nurse Persis from Valley Park Surgery and greatly recommend that other patients try to ask to see her if possible. I had an appointment for a blood test this morning and was attended by her. She was very professional and friendly and was super efficient in her work. had countless blood test experiences in the past where some nurses would fumble for many long minutes to find the correct vein on my arm but Persis managed it on first try. It was simply a matter of applying sterilisation swipe, insert needle, and draw away. The whole process did not feel like it took more than an entire minute. So amazingly efficient! To me, what separated Persis from many other nurses I have seen in different GP surgeries in the past was that she was very thorough. She had clearly reviewed my medical records before seeing me and knew that I had yet to book an appointment for another test that was overdue so she offered to do that test for me since I was already there. And again, she was so skilled and efficient. A minute or two later, it was done! Amazing! Honestly it would have taken me more time to try to book an appointment online than having the test done by Persis! Thank you so much Persis! You exemplified what an excellent medical staff should be not through your words but through your actions.❤️”

Gina was professional and took excellent care of our little Sami (cat) by visiting once a day for a week for feeds and managing his litter! I felt more at ease knowing Gina was there to support us as it is never nice leaving your pets when you go abroad. When we arrived home Sami was very happy and chatting away to us obviously telling us how well he had been looked after.... lots of kisses and cuddle!!!! I would highly recommend Gina. “It is common knowledge that NHS is on its knees and that an average waiting time for an appointment is couple of weeks. That's why I ended up trying to deal with an insect bite turning nasty at home and kept dismissing family suggestions to get medical attention. Finally on a late afternoon on 28/08/25 I called surgery thinking this was going to be a waste of time. Well, it was amazing experience. Lovely and attentive lady receptionist listened and acted with due care. She directed me to another surgery, booked my appointment, send me location. I was seen by a doctor one hour later, got my prescription, was told where to go to get meds at that late hour. Everyone - reception team at Park Way surgery, reception team at Farley Road surgery, doctor at Farley Road surgery - were amazing. And that's not a word I use often in same sentence as "NHS", sadly. I called next day to thank the reception team. I understand the constraints but I can't help to be impressed by my experience.”
