“Truly delicious and exciting food - highly recommend the pani puri and aloo firecracker. We went on a weekday so it was very quiet and a nice ambience. The manager was rude and abrasive to his staff in front of us which was disappointing, but hopefully a one-off.”

The special prawns and the different varieties of chicken tikka are a must-try; you’ll love them. They have loads of tasty curries and a good range of soft drinks too. We tried the mango lassi — it was superb! The kids really enjoyed the desserts, and the portion sizes for every dish were generous. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for genuine Indian flavours and a warm, welcoming atmosphere!”

“Had a lovely experience at Heroica Lounge and Bar, Custom House. We ordered pizza and salad, and both were absolutely delicious fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We sat on the upper deck of the bus, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas and had such a cozy, festive vibe. The music was spot on and really added to the atmosphere. Overall, a great place for good food, great music, and a unique setting. Would definitely visit again!”

“We spent two nights at the “more than” Goodenough Guest House. Andy, the host, was very kind and served us robust English breakfasts each morning. We stayed in the loft room which was perfect for my son and me, visiting family just down the road where there was a full house. I loved the large bathtub. At 6’4” (193 cm) I appreciated the large soaking tub in the bath, where there was also a shower. One should know, no lift and no air conditioning. Didn’t bother us. We were lucky with weather and the air was cool at the end of July and the neighborhood quiet, so we could have the windows opened. The beds were comfortable, and a nice sofa to have a cup of tea, play a card game and relax. Short walk to the train. Totally clean! We loved it and will return!”

“Coming to work from West London to Bromley this lovely place caught my eye. Had the best Jerk Chicken pattie as it was so nice and flaky. Spoil for choice of desserts as I have a sweet tooth, so I to go for the Pear and Peach Crumbles and wash it down with good old Guinness Punch. Great customer service as well. Will I come again? “I’ve been coming here for near 40 years! The place recently celebrated their 46th birthday and suddenly made me feel old! An absolute institution. I was lucky to visit way back when it was just 1-2 small rooms and my parents treated to us to this incredible restaurant when we were younger and have continued to visit since! They had been coming since just after it opened and it was once fo the best Thai restaurants you could find! After years of uni and now living over seas it’s on the list every time I come home. Made even more special by some of the staff remembering me including the boss! A true sign of a spectacular restaurant where hospitality is at the heart of its success. Here is to another 40 years I hope!”

“Been visiting here for a number of years and would highly recommend, definitely the best Chinese in the area. This family run Chinese takeaway has been running for over 30+ years. Staff are always lovely, friendly, polite and will always help with recommendations with dishes to try. The food is amazing, always fresh and so tasty. These guys know how to cook! Would recommend the house special chow mein (sauce), special fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, salt & pepper chicken wings They don't do delivery but I make a phone order to pick up and it's so worth the journey too!”

“Our October wedding at Hartsfield Manor was truly magical. The venue was stunning, and Bethany, our events manager, was incredible — organised, attentive, and made everything run seamlessly. We had the hotel for exclusive hire and all of the guests were well looked after. Ciaran, I and our family felt completely supported and celebrated. It was the perfect day filled with joy and love! “I really enjoyed the Indian afternoon tea at Orangery by Sapna. The Karak tea was definitely the highlight rich, warming, and full of flavor. The scones were fresh and perfectly baked, and the assortment of sandwiches offered a nice variety of tastes. I also loved the sweet treats, which were beautifully presented and delicious. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a proper afternoon tea. Overall, a delightful experience that I’d happily return to.”

“Lively place with plenty of seats; outdoor tables are nice too. They have fun activities such as trivia night. The food is so-so but cheap. They have daily deals, drink deals, and so forth. We came for quiz night. The service is great. They ran out of an ale I ordered so they suggested a good alternative and even gave me a sample to try, a sample that could easily be 1/3 of a pint. Staff checked up on us multiple times, which is surprising given how busy they were.”

“Great starters (I got the Salt and Pepper Squid) and Mango Shake! This restaurant transported me back to the Philippines. It was such a fun vibe, with a bonus of Karaoke and great food!! Must Be careful though because you may enter a karaoke singing competition and Win a 5kg Bag of rice as a prize!! I will be coming back here again with my friends to show them how karaoke is suppose to be done xx”
