The day was really engaging and interesting - the recipes were great, the pace was just right and we were given so much useful information as well as little tips and tricks. “My son went to this nursery from 9 months old until he left for school in September. All the staff are so caring and loving, like a family away from home - three of his key persons particularly standout, Katie G who was his first in Bunnies and supported his transition into nursery life, Jess for support with his speech and language while he was in Fox Cubs and Malaika while he was in Owls for nurturing his curiosity through her experiments. His first parents evening at primary school was full of positives and he is hitting or exceeding all his targets, part of this is the play and experiences he had while being at Footsteps! “Our families have used The Hinton Guest House a few times for their stays when visiting us in the area, and it has always been a fantastic choice. Most recently, my parents stayed for 7 nights in December 2024, and once again, the experience was excellent. The guest house is in a central position in Mobberley village, making it incredibly convenient. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk to the Coop mini market, the local pharmacy, and a bus station with routes to Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, and Altrincham. Additionally, it’s approximately a 10-minute walk to the local pubs, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The rooms and premises are always spotless, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The breakfast service is a highlight—the food is cooked to perfection, and the service is attentive and friendly. We’re so fortunate to have such a reliable and high-quality accommodation nearby. “It's a nice section of the River Bollin, shallow in areas that means you can paddle and the dog can get in and have a drink.”

“Our little one had the time of his life and loved every minute of it. Even as parents we were impressed with the facilities/ quality of play equipment, they sell a wide range of food and lovely seating area by the cafe that has plenty of high chairs. The tables are spaced out to allow for pushchairs/buggies. They have a role play section with plenty of soft play equipment etc. for under 5’s. Our little one loved the different sensory areas. The whole place kept him entertained for hours! We visited a second time on the way home. We only wish we had one closer to us down south as we are based in Sussex.”

“We got married at Rylands Farmhouse in May and we couldn’t recommend it enough. From our first viewing of the venue to the morning after our wedding the service provided was second to none. The staff went above and beyond for us at every opportunity and nothing was too much to ask. Our wedding guests were blown away with the venue and the staff. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the breakfast the next day was delicious. Luis was with us from the beginning and throughout our whole wedding day and he was absolutely amazing! He made sure that everything was perfect for us and we can’t thank him enough! We can’t wait to revisit for every anniversary in future! Thank you Rylands x”

“I went to the cinema to watch a live National Theatre Production. The cinema was very organised. I went straight to the screen and waited for the show. As it was live, everyone made it to their seat before the start. The performance was excellent and I will be returning to watch another show. Living in Manchester I’m not going to travel to London for these shows. What a great opportunity to see real theatre. I loved it.”

“Wow what can i say we had our wedding here 2 weeks ago and it really was the perfect venue. Lucy was amazing and really helpful during the planning and on the day everything went exactly as it should all the staff were amazing on the day! jake was so helpful the night before accomadating a big party for food and was amazing on the wedding day too. John our master of ceromonies was fabulous too. All guests commented on how lovely there room was. We used the Delamere suite to get ready and for our wedding night and it was perfect. Thank you so much to everybody who made our day amazing ❤️”

“We are Americans visiting Manchester for the holidays. The Didsbury Pub was recommended to us for dinner. We had dinner at The Didsbury Pub on Christmas Eve, and it was fantastic! Steven, our server, looked after us; he did a fantastic job. The Didsbury Pub had a Festive Menu on Christmas Eve and our compliments to the Chef. The food was delicious. The hand carved roast turkey with Yorkshire pudding was awesome. So was the Marmalade Glazed Ham Hock. And the desserts. The apple & blackberry crumble was scrumptious; as was the melting chocolate fondant. The pub is beautiful. The atmosphere was great. One of the best dining experiences in all our travels. Thank you to Steven, the Chef, and all the great people at The Didsbury Pub. I highly recommend everyone visiting Manchester to stop in and enjoy The Didsbury Pub.”

“Lovely hotel, top notch leisure facilities. Rooms could be a bit larger (king size bed but not a lot of room after that), and wine pricy at the bar. Breakfast was fantastic, very tasty, wish I could have e had two each day but can't eat that much :-). Helpful and friendly staff, could t do enough to help, thanks folks”
