“What a fantastic trip to Cineworld! I went to see Predator: Badlands and absolutely loved it – action-packed, gripping, and one of the best in the series! But the real highlight was the wonderful staff member Chloe who looked after me. She greeted me with the warmest, most genuine smile and a truly professional yet heartwarming welcome that made us feel so valued from the start. When she noticed I needed a bit of extra help to sit comfortably, she quietly and kindly sorted out a stool for me without any fuss – such a thoughtful touch that made the whole experience perfect. Chloe is an absolute gem and a real credit to Cineworld. The film was brilliant, but her kindness made the day even more special. Thank you, Chloe – I’ll definitely be back soon! ❤️”

“Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were outstanding and hospitable, the bar next to the lobby had a welcoming, cozy feel, wonderful menu and lovely rooms. I'm not sure about some of the complaints on the size, it seemed average to me, but it was very clean which is high on my importance list, as was the rest of the hotel. This hotel is away from the city bustle a bit, but a lot of trees around the property make it very relaxing and a pleasure to escape the traffic. My only feedback is the vegan sausage in the morning was freezer burned and a little bland, they can be tossed in oil & seasoning to add flavor, but fresh/defrosted is best. My veg pizza was wonderful, so was the veg burger. Great buffet in morning. Outstanding staff professionalism in housekeeping and lobby.”

Such a great performance dealing with timeless issues in a contemporary way in a performance which really spoke to me. Wonderful to have touring acts perform at this venue (let's bring more if we can!) as well as traditional theatre performances by the players.”

“We went for Smugs one man show which was absolutely brilliant, it is a small theatre and worked well to give a really intimate feel. A lot going on behind the scenes to provide such a great show, for me it was everything the theatre should be, special mention for front of house staff who were lovely. “Brilliant theatre. The oldest little theatre in the UK. Excellent regular variety of shows very well acted. Good bar area. The seating is comfortable and tiered so that all seats give a good view. Parking available next door with a lovely helpful chap who deserves a mention. Some notable present and past honorary members such as Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Sybil Thorndike and locally born Dame Wendy Hillier.”

“We saw Neil Simon’s play “The Odd Couple” last night at Wigan Little Theatre. It was an excellent production, really funny, well acted, costumes and sets were superb. Theatre itself was a lovely old place, comfy and clean, great bar area and place for teas coffees etc in the interval. This is a gem of a place, run and maintained entirely by volunteers. A local treasure belonging to Wigan ❤️. Can’t wait for our next visit.”
