“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Experience at Persia Grill! Persia Grill is truly a gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and a wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Maral, the lovely owner, is such a kind and welcoming person — she goes above and beyond to make sure every guest is happy. The food is absolutely delicious — everything from the starters to the main dishes was full of flavour and beautifully presented. I had the Jojeh Extra Koobideh and Baghali Polo with Lamb Shank, and they were cooked to perfection. The prices are very reasonable too, especially for the quality and portions you get. We even had a wedding party there a few months ago, and everything was perfect — the food, the service, and the whole experience. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about their guests. If you’re looking for authentic Persian food in a lovely setting with great people, Persia Grill is the place to go. Highly recommended!”

“Croma is a great option in Chorlton for pretty much any occasion. They cater to all needs with a fab selection of vegan and gluten free options. It's relaxed and cosy and a great place if you have kids as part of your group - the children's menu is really good value and always popular! Service is quick and friendly and it's a big restaurant, so good space for larger groups. We were sad to see the Didsbury branch close but glad we can still come here!”

“We were really craving a dosa, and Dosaxpress really hit the spot. It was fairly empty when we went and so food service was fast. Medhu vada was exceptional. The poori was also perfect! The red and green chutney were not that great but the coconut chutney and sambar made up for it.”

The food arrived fresh, hot, and perfectly packaged — exactly how a takeaway should be. Ayesha made sure everything in the order was spot on, with all the extras and sauces included (which so many places get wrong!). You can tell there’s real attention to detail and care behind the scenes. Hussein clearly takes pride in the prep — the doner was packed with flavour, generous portions, and just the right balance of meat, salad, and sauce. “Very tasty food, well condimented, fast table service. Monday lunch time almost no customers, the shopping centre was so quiet, we enjoyed that. First time in Arndale shopping centre and Doner Shack, we enjoyed the food. The doner/bread nice and crunchy on the outside, fair portion, but when we got the fries kebab that was like a 2 people portion, huge and very tasty.”

“I visited Costa Gatley Sunday afternoon — a clean, well-maintained store with a cosy atmosphere and a good selection of food options. However, what stood out during my visit was an interaction at the till that left me quite surprised, and not in a good way. When I ordered a medium hot drink, the young girl serving me actively discouraged the choice. She suggested I go for a smaller size, saying: “There’s not much difference in size — go for the small and save some pennies.” As someone who has run a business for over a decade, I found this quite concerning. In most places, staff are trained to upsell — encouraging customers to consider larger sizes or additional items, which is standard practice in retail and hospitality. Her approach, while possibly well-intentioned, directly goes against basic principles of sales and revenue generation. Encouraging customers to spend less, especially unprompted, may seem kind, but it’s ultimately damaging to the business. In my view, this isn’t just unprofessional — it’s a risk to the long-term health of the store. Costa may want to consider reviewing training procedures to ensure staff understand the balance between customer service and commercial awareness. Thank you”

“The food was the expected, standard affair. And as good as it was, it wasn't the standout part of our experience. The Service was beyond exemplary. We were served with a high level of friendliness and they were also kind enough to suggest things to elevate our food experience further. One example is asking about the type of bread we'd like in the Full English and another is if we'd like any additional flavouring in our Iced Lattes. This may seem obvious on the surface, but it's something that's regularly missing from the service at other breakfast establishments. It was a little pricey compared to other places, but that can be forgiven due to the friendly atmosphere, good food and exceptional service.”

“Tried this after watching TFT food troll youtube video and was blown away by how yummy the chicken donner in fresh bread roll £5 or £7 with chips and drink I thought it was just another sharwama from watching the video but it's nothing like you had before , it taste like perfectly golden trimmed rotisserie chicken with thyme or some type of herbs , reminds me of tge country tyrkey where they use minimal seasoning to show off the natural chicken flavour from the meat. Absolutely loved it in that bread with mayo and mint yoghurt Wish this place was in manchester it would do well here . The shop was clean and staff was friendly, proces are on tge higher side but it's quality. “Wow. This has to be one of the best cafes I’ve ever been to! It’s located in the Northern Quarter (Manchester) and it’s situated in an urban area. When you walk inside, you are greeted with a calming fountain and a beautiful atmosphere, just as calming as the fountain. You talk to the staff, who are very nice and kind (10/10) and order your drink (if you want). There is also a wide array of affordable food, you can get cakes, chapatis and quesadillas as well. I ordered Karma Cola (sugar-free) which doesn’t taste like any other cola, it tastes better. The cola isn’t too sweet as well, compared to other colas. You explore around the cafe, curiously, and find the Library. Now, this library is the calmest library I’ve ever been to. Shelves are filled with books and the room is painted in an ambient brown, making it feel even more calming. You look around the library, head to toe in a sense of tranquil. No music is played here. It’s very quiet. You leave the cafe satisfied and calm. Overall, you need to try this cafe, it’s great. The staff are nice, it is affordable, drinks are high quality and if you are looking for a cafe where you can study or just relax, this is the right place for you.”
