“This place deserves 5 stars. Firstly upon entering the place was greeted by such a lovely and happy Chinese lady. They really do treat you like you are a valued customer. However regardless of this the food. Out of the hundreds of Chinese takeaways I've tried around the uk the food is the BEST. For my order I was told there would be a 15 minute wait. Yes they really did cook everything fresh. Even when I entered the building the lady was making something from scratch. When I got home the food was unbelievable. Sweet and sour chicken, the chicken batter still crispy it was so fresh. And it literally melted in my mouth. The ribs, crispy and extremely meaty, full of meat! The homemade spring rolls were the nicest I've ever tried. Unreal. And everything else we ate was just so fresh and full of flavour Another amazing thing, I didn't get that extreme thirst which you usually get from Chinese takeaways - most likely since the food is homemade and not from packets or jarred sauces. And lastly, pricing. I mean the prices are like they were years ago. Usually a £45 order cost us £29 today I honestly wish that this place gets the recognition it deserves because it really is the best in every possible aspect. Thank you so much pearl garden. Local amenities good, petrol station, tesco, subway etc. Parking at the back of the travel lodge at a very reasonable price.”

“It is well located as it's close to the airport and motorway network around it. The parking facility is free and also the wifi. This is a saving of at least £10 compared to other similar chain of hotels. The room was of that of a 4* or at a stretch even a 5* standard. Very calm, restful place with a restaurant. I would recommend it without any hesitation.”

All of our maintenance issues were dealt with promptly and effectively, including replacement of a broken washing machine and assistance with leaks in the property. Inspections or fire alarm tests were alerted to us in advance and Vanessa and Danielle offered excellent communication and service throughout our tenancy. The property was affordable and in a good area of Manchester, close to city centre and our transition from Ireland to the year's tenancy in England was seamless. “I visited Subway recently and was served by Joe. Despite the store being clearly understaffed and a constant stream of Deliveroo orders coming in, Joe remained calm, patient, and professional throughout. It did take a bit longer than usual to get my order, but it was clear the delay wasn’t his fault – he was handling a lot on his own. Joe made sure to greet every customer politely, took time to get each order right, and didn’t let the pressure affect his service. I really appreciated his positive attitude and attention to detail, even in a hectic situation. If anything, Subway needs to make sure their staff aren’t left to manage such a high workload alone. Joe did a great job under the circumstances, and his customer service deserves recognition. I visited on the 29th June 2025 around 17:30.”
